Fifteen time convicted felon and walking around, free as a bird:
- A fifteen-time convicted felon who’s on parole is now charged with mugging a man in Rogers Park less than 100 yards from the location where he robbed another man in 2016.
Prosecutors said a police sergeant was on patrol in the 1700 block of West Greenleaf at 10:30 p.m. on October 27th when he saw two men having a dispute. That’s when the sergeant saw 49-year-old career felon Dewitt Brown begin to take valuables from the other man’s pockets.
When the sergeant intervened in the robbery, Brown allegedly said: “I ain’t going down like this!” Brown then turned around, ran a few steps, collided with a wall and fell to the ground, the sergeant reported.
Is there any camera footage of this, because it has to be hilarious.

Isn't the average Christmas party ticket like $50-$65, sounds like some sort of ethical issue to me?

This one is ever worse. How can any politician run for office, proclaiming they are for better education, keeping kids safe and not speak out against this insane sentence. I know personally of several men who applied to work at CPS got rejected even though they had a record from years ago. Yet this asshole, a fucking known pedophile not only still working, fucking with little girls on the job, trying to get them drunk after class, then admits to the charges, but walks away without a felony. Maybe it is a overreach but what in the ever loving fuck is going on in Cook County where you plead to a child sex charge and still do not get a felony?

15 time convicted and a whole bunch of charges dropped along with all the times he wasn't caught. How many chances do you get to turn your life around? Apparently there is no limit in Illinois to the times you can rob and steal. In Chicago that wall did more for justice than the whole justice system. The Police can't do it and the courts won't do it so CCL it's up to you to deliver justice hopefully multiple times at a very high speed.

I used to live a block away from there. Paulina/Greenleaf. Once I became the police and wised up, I moved to 016. Best decision I ever made. MY house value has doubled, and my neighbors are conservatives, and everybody works for a living. The only shooting I hear is on New Years eve when the OD PO-PO is letting off some steam.
Rogers Park is a liberal cesspool. Gangs everywhere. Shots fired on a routine basis. And toss in the occasional homicide to keep things interesting. Unless you live there, there is no need to go there. You take your own life in your hands if you do.

Cook County Criminal Courts are a joke. Chicago is a paradise for criminals because there is no accountability. Criminals know the odds of getting caught are low. And if they do get caught, Cook County SA will cut sweetheart deals. And even if found guilty, Cook County Criminal Court Judges, with some exceptions, are lenient to the extreme. The revolving door is just turning faster, as more and more criminals are on the prowl.
