Quick Hits

So Mrs. Munoz, seeing her husband's reduced political status and perhaps the reduced income that comes with being shunted aside for a younger model, suddenly remembers what we here have said for years:
  • In a petition seeking an order of protection, the wife of Ald. Ricardo Munoz (22nd) claims she feared not only physical abuse at the hands of her husband but threats from gang members connected to him.

“Ricardo has connections (with) local gangs (and) individuals with criminal pasts who … have threatened my family in the past,” Betty Torres-Munoz wrote on the form she filled out Wednesday, seeking a court order barring the Munoz from having contact with her, the couple’s 16-year-old dog, or visiting the Little Village home they shared.
Munoz was always a bitch for the gangs.

------

The Water Tower new anti-teen policy is working as well as expected:
  • Though officials said the policy would be “strictly enforced throughout the shopping center property, including exterior entrances,” the new approach could be tough to implement at a shopping center with multiple entrances, a theater and underground parking lot.

A walk through the eight-level mall Friday evening showed just as much, as groups of unsupervised teens strolled from store to store.
We heard some morons describing the new policy as "racist," as if being a teenager was now somehow based solely on race instead of behavior. The accusation carries as much weight as those claiming police stop traffic violators based anything except the traffic violation itself.

------

A little birdie whispers that disgraced Skinny Johnson is now surrendering names of fellow lawbreakers in a bid to reduce the sizable prison sentence he's facing. Anyone know what the going rate (years reduced) is per name? Is it by rank? Is it contingent on future convictions?

------

Charles "Cholie" Williams for Superintendent? Please let this be true. We'll have enough material for another twelve years of blogging if that asshole gets into the big office.

Quick hits comments:
1. Munoz: Dirty as the day is long. Maybe Mrs. Munoz spills some more and the proper people start looking at him a lot closer than in years past. In bed with the gangs for a long time.

2. Water Tower: Yeah, it’ll be tough to keep all of the riff raff out but at least it’s something. Act like a goof, get treated like one.

3. Skinny Johnson: I hope he names names. It’ll be fun to watch the connected/clouted scrambling to avoid the underside of that bus that’s headed this way. (Also, this applies to Ed Burke too. Name names, you crooked MF. Take ‘em all down with you...Toni, Richie, Madigan, Cullerton, Rahm...that’d be a nice start)

4. Charlie Williams: Are you freakin’ kidding me?!

Remember when the feds went down on 26th to bust Munoz's father and all the crap the alderman gave them. For 13 years daddy was making fake photos and IDs for the illegal aliens to the tune of 3 million dollars a year for 13 years. And Munoz claimed he had no knowledge. Can you imagine how many illegals are here permanently because of him?

If Charles Williams comes back there will be big changes. You can bet your call box key on that. If you remember he is the guy who brought the CPD into the 21 st century by standing up SWAT. He is the kind of guy who will personally prepare White Papers that state the case for district realignments, beefing up IAD, negotiating fiscally and operationally responsible contracts with FOP and aggressively going after lick hitters on the job. In IAD he will stand up a spousal abuse unit to go after coppers who engage in this conduct both male and female. You can also bet SWAT will have tougher standards and expand to a 24 hour operation with two Illinois National Guard Black Hawk helicopters dedicated to its usage for training and operations. The enhanced SWAT Unit will have its own drones as well.

He has done a very credible job as a turn around/agent of change at Streets and Sanitation and is viewed as a very clean and deep thinking executive by the IACP, the US Attorney’s Office, and the Cook County States Attorneys Office. My aunt who is a Captain was in the room when he interviewed a bad cop and reduced him to tears. Once the guy gave it all up and confessed to his misdeeds then Sgt. Williams hugged the guy as he cried and had my aunt go and get him a orange soda pop. Apparently he only provides orange soda pop at the initial breakdown interview even though the guy asked for a coke. Word is Mr. Williams really wants to bring the CPD up to the level of the FBI and LAPD when it comes to organizationally effectiveness, leveraging of technology, and purging of corrupt elements.

My aunt told me Chuck was the founder of the Exam Scam Movement that resulted in the CPD being successfully sued by a group of Sergeants who were denied promotion to lieutenant. So the bottom line is Mr. Williams will bring the CPD into the light with a transparent and fair promotional process. He is also very anti-ethnic groups. No Emerald Society, NOBLE, LAPA, or German< Greek societies for Mr. Williams as he has a strong belief that we are all Blue. Oh and he HATES being called anything except Charles H. Williams. So get ready for the return of the prodigal, son if the rumors are true. You can ask old timers and they will tell you Mr. Williams is for real.

- Where’s the elected #Pounders calling for the Munoz resignation, MenDozer, ValSilencio, MadGroin, Soyboy beta cuck Rahm....anyone?

- Water Tower is allowing the underserved inside if they have to use the turlet, Special Ed issued day passes too.
There’s also the wrath of Rahm’s Inclusivity and Tolerance Ordinance.

- 1/2 of the Brothers Johnson won’t peep until the Fed offer up. He can take the a little heat.
When there’s a sudden frenzy of rats jumping off the S.S. Special Ed, bet on Chicago Way coming to an end.

- Cholly Williams can’t and won’t - unless there’s another separation pension fund attached to it.
Maybe he can get JB Toilet to lead the ISP or Jr.Burke’s old job at best.

As a “former” gang banger, Munoz has always been in the pocket of the gangs. Interesting how the media was never interested in this. As for Charlie Williams, we could do worse. I know many on this site don’t like him, and I know his reputation, but when I worked for him, I found him to be decent and fair guy. Actually better than some bosses I could name. If he is the next superintendent, and I don’t know why he would want it, he may be better than we think. At least give him a chance.

He parked it on the street instead of the parking lot and someone busted it. IAD has assigned 40 detectives to the case. They need all the manpower they can get to narrow down all the suspects that hate him like criminals, cops, sergeants, Lieutenants, politicians, and fellow Exempts.

the 010 tact teams looked the other way on a lot of things; illegal car sales on the weekends on 26th st, nightclubs that catered to teens and openly sold and served alcohol to the teens and to gangs. That is for starters. One of the tact team members is not a merit captain, after he was the merit tact lieutenant after he was the merit tact sergeant. How about that? And, he never left the 010 district.

McCarthy was on mancow this morning.
Quick takeaways:
He stated that Rahm committed official misconduct in April of 2015 when he ordered then corporation counsel Steve Patton to pay off Laquan McDonald's family. This was done to buy their silence so Rahm could win re election

McCarthy said he was disappointed and surprised Burke would engage in that corruption which led to his arrest.

He also stated that Toni Preckwinkle should drop out and leave public office altogether. Preckwinkle's attempts at returning Burke's donation was like a bank robber returning the proceeds back to the robbed bank.

He had a few callers that was in his corner, which was surprising.

Well some big news from a friend of mine who is a fed... Kevin Johnson Rolled on two people a few days ago. Both are said to be cpd members. Honestly that was unexpected. I’m assuming he was looking at probation and fines anyways.

1/05/2019 03:05:00 AM"

So which Johnson is it? Is Kevin talking? or Kenneth?
Both are looking at some substantial criminal penalties. The theft of their deceased mother's social security money is just the beginning.
The feds ought to look at their meritorious promotions, and the promotions of their nominees.

Also hear Kenneth is rolling around in a brand new Mercedes Benz. That I find hard to believe. Can anyone, even an exempt be that stupid?
Follow the money, feds, follow the money

010 had a unmarked 1006 car nicknamed the"MICA"car, there were 3 P/Os assigned and their mission was to break up the phony ID ring working out of the strip mall at 26th and Albany.
And they were doing a damn good job putting a dent in the operation, they were so good that the Feds came down and rode with them Secret service, postal inspectors, etc. They were nailing the people who printed up the ID's took the photos etc, in fact they were so good, that a call came down from city hall to cease and desist "NOW"! And so it was, the P/Os were back on a beat car and I believe 1006 turned into the park car and was given to the inside dollies.

Off topic....I was trying to find a few of the earlier posts that made references to Robert Cooley, as if he were the paragon of integrity regarding law and order in Chicago. For those gel heads that hold this rat in fascination, our old friend Steinberg from the slum times posted a column about Cooley, and surprisingly pegged him for the POS that he is. Anyone on the job in the late 70s and early 80's will recall that Cooley ratted out the Dems at Counselor's row, name dropping all the way. Its a shame...and to a certain extent a blessing that a failing newspaper's columnist had to point this out.

Anonymous Investigate Toni Preckwinkle said...

Toni Preckwinkle should be investigated by the U.S. Attorney's office. She should step down from the campaign and her office until the investigation is completed because neither Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan or Kwame Raoul will investigate Preckwinkle. Kim Foxx, her hand picked supported states attorney will not investigate her.Ditto for Pritzker. They are beholden to her for votes and support.
Preckwinkle is buddies with Clinton and Obama. No local governmental agency will investigate her.
Here's why the U>S> government should investigate her:

Preckwinkle used her clout and threat of retaliation against a sitting judge during the criminal trial of her son, who was then acquitted.

At least 10 million dollars in federal funding that came from a federal Homeland Security grant designated for the Cook County Emergency Management Department is unaccounted for.

Preckwinkle has received questionable contributions from Ed Burke, as well as campaign support. The same charge can be made for Kim Foxx.

Preckwinkle did not report her campaign contribution to the state.

Preckwinkle has turned a blind eye to the wide scale massive sex abuse scandal in the Chicago Public Schools. She was a former CPS teacher at Calumet High, and has the endorsement and support of the SEIU and the teachers union which compromises her ability to investigate CPS.

Preckwinkle knowingly carted political materials in a County vehicle slated for security use.

Preckwinkle turned a blind eye to the sexual misconduct of her chief of staff, and took no action against him until he was outed by the local media. Preckwinkle then fired him.

This is just a partial list of why Preckwinkle should not seek or retain any public office.

I'm not putting this out because I support an opposing candidate.

I'm just sick about what the likes of Preckwinkle, Pritzker, Madigan, Emanuel, Daley and Burke has done and is continuing to do to this city.

Charlie Williams has no aspirations of returning to the old job, period. But I'll say this: He would hold all officers strictly accountable, something that no other supt. has had much a success record in doing. I'm sure the more blatant fuckups that embarrass the job might have been quaking in their boots, but not to worry. Williams wouldn't want the headaches that the top job would present to him at his current age.
