Two More "Mass" Shootings?
The news notes, without comment, another multi-victim shooting:
- Three men were killed, and at least 16 other people were wounded in city shootings since Friday evening, including five shot in a single attack in the Gresham neighborhood, Chicago police said.
In that shooting, shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, the five people were shot in the 7900 block of South Loomis Boulevard in the South Side’s Gresham neighborhood.
And then, four people shot over at 4600 W. Erie.
This, after a Fourth of July weekend that saw FIVE separate mass shootings (four or more victims.)

We're sensing some hypocrisy on the part of media and anti-gun organizations that add seven "mass shootings" in about eleven days into their databases to attack legal gun owners while completely ignoring where in the city these shootings occur. Is it just us or is there something about those seven locations?

These minor blips can be corrected by the allocation of more taxpayer monies.

Bring back VRI in the violent areas, in marked or unmarked

It’s a convenience thing for lying Lori Lightfoot. Ya know, she’s a lawyer, so that speaks volumes about things she presents to the general public. You gotta know her former work mates are laughing their asses of that voters actually fell for her bullshit and elected her. There’s probably a few that are just waiting for the opportunity to nail her. It’s chicago, and she will cave to the corruption at some point.
Maybe the outfit can step up to the plate and give her a little nudge.
Aren't those locations where all those parking tickets are written? You know, the places that have lots of units, many tac teams and VRI coppers all bumping in to each other all the time? Many of them looking to write a parker to show they did something during their 8 hours other than disturb these young men that are just enjoying the warm summer nights? It's amazing that the violent predators can find a moment where there isn't a team of cops right around the corner.
It's almost like black lives are being used to further the gun control agenda.
5 Corporations own a majority of the various Media/News outlets. The concentration of ownership allows for a coordinated narrative, which explains why every channel has nearly the same message. These Mega Corps are not interested in truth or accuracy but are more concerned with control of the narrative, even at the expense of lost viewership or declining profits. Money is less important than shaping the perceptions of the few viewers they still hold. These Companies are willing to forego short term gains for long term alliance with our future Socialist>Communist>tyrant Overlords.
Gun ownership has always been an obstacle in enslaving a population in the name of Progress and Collectivism. Unarmed population is much easier to control.
You would think that "black leaders" would be very vocal about this self genocide.

When someone kills two or three people in one attack, then they get some actual press.
Sadly, 60, 70 or 80 POC shot, but not killed are not newsworthy in Chicago.

The mainstream media are not racist. They just cannot seem to care about POC being shot and killed in Job lots. An absolute carnage day after day, year after year.

Lack of economic opportunity doesn’t seem to be halting ammunition purchases.

A couple of things. First, both crime and crime rates are indeed down. Compared to last year and continuing a multi-year trend. Second, and more importantly, the crime reduction issue is not - nor should it be - how much crime is taking place. The issue is who is committing the crime and who is being victimized by those criminals. My former Captain used to say, “Why don’t Toni and Kim [and I suppose Lori now], care about black and brown people?” The point, of course, is that their “Keep POC out of jail” policies are empowering the criminal element in communities of color! Oh, sure, those offenders make their way into other areas of the City, but they are devastating their own communities with the violence. And, finally, third: until the discussion is about point #2 and not point #1, nothing substantive will change. This isn’t racist, this is empirically driven reality.

Three people shot at a workplace, school or a nightclub would be considered a “mass shooting”..... if it didn’t happen in “the community”.
It the most basic rule of journalism: “dog bites man” isn’t news - it happens all the time - but “man bites dog” is UNUSUAL and warrants a story. It sad commentary on the state of “the community” that two or three “mass shootings” (three or more people shot) a day doesn’t even rate a column-inch on the back of the front section.

Because these “POC” getting killed are almost always jagoff gang members with rap sheets more voluminous than most peoples medical records. And even the “progressive” media knows it. They can’t cover every single jagoff that gets killed in this city over a dope spot or a perceived disrespectful glance. Not enough time in the day. When someone gets killed who appears to be an innocent bystander, they’ll cover that, because a contributing member of society was killed for no reason except for typical ghetto nonsense that he or she wasn’t a part of.

Definition of news is when something unexpected happens. The community shooting and killing each other is hardly unusual it is what they so and have been doing for years. Media and public numb to it by now, therefore it does not sell papers or get people to tine in so why report it.
Find it funny that we haven't heard anything from Fat Head Ed about that all important people in harms way list. Are they all dead by now or was that just another plan that failed. Any more bright ideas Fat Head your days are numbered so give is your best shot. LOL at your Clowning. Ed if nothing else you good for a few laughs, hope the next tool will be as entertaining.
