What Goes Around....

  • TEMPE, AZ — A Starbucks in Tempe, Arizona had its lattes and cappuccinos turn into a crime of opportunity this weekend. The coffee shop was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man, and, surprisingly, the theft occurred in plain sight of six uniformed policemen watching through the store's front window.

The officers wanted to rush in and stop the crime but had just been asked to leave the establishment by a barista who told them that a customer "did not feel safe" with them in the coffee house.

A moment after the police honored the request, the gunman appeared, demanding money from the cash register. The policemen immediately remembered the request of the barista—who now had both hands in the air—and the customer—who was now cowering under a table—and decided to stay outside to avoid making anyone feel unsafe.

"Your first instinct is to run in and grab the perpetrator," said Officer Chris Segardo. "But they made it very clear that they didn't want us in there, so we had to just watch. We couldn't even go in and get information after the guy ran out the back."

Oddly enough, the event comes just weeks after a Denver Starbucks burned to the ground shortly after asking a group of firefighters to leave.
Yes, it's a satire site.

Is there any doubt, the customer that stated he felt "uncomfortable" KNEW that a robbery was about to be committed or was involved some how and needed to get rid of the cops?? Anyway, Starbucks is nothing but a shit hole and nothing would make me happier than to see this business dissolve into the dirt.

***side note...Yes, Starbucks calls every fucking day to have people removed. Fuck them. Get your complaints signed first!! If not, see ya later, deal with it.

When will the store close throughout the nation for sensitivity training for all employees? They closed when “the community “ was offended!

Just saying!...

Yeah, Karma is a bitch.
The settlement for the Starbucks Six included:
Six free franchise opportunities, nothing down
Six years of kickback free income to Starbucks
Six years of competition-free enterprise within operating radius
Six times six year renewals of no kickback agreement
Six years of Starbucks-paid local real estate tax payments

Starbucks asked the police to leave --- and they should EN MASSE!

Never, ever go back, ever.

When an employee would quit, retire, then decide to come back, wanting to rip up signed paper, the company said "we heard you the first time."

The police (and supporters) have heard Starbucks, Howard Schultz (founder/LIB) and their "man-bunned barista's" over & over.

Taster's Choice and Folger's have caffeine too, and you have a fatter wallet.

NOT ILLINOIS. NOT LAW. HAPPILY RETIRED.

Hysterical. Love the sarcasm: though, sadly not true except on the streets of portland. These pishers need a huge wake up call.

I stopped visiting starbucks after they started disrespecting veterans and hiring illegals first, plus the out of control pro "other side" agenda, makes normies feel unwelcome. So many other very nice local establishments for coffee, tea, and snacks, including dunkin donuts, where LEOs are welcome.

Not a cofee drinker, but all friends agree dunkin donuts coffee is better.

God bless the blue and lighgroot fu

They are backtracking nicely though. I think they want to have the barista, the snowflake customer and the cops in for an Orange Frap conference.

Now, kees me you fool!!!!

If the customer felt so unsafe and probably in fear of their life, why didn’t they just call the police? Oh! Never mind.

If you don’t think Starbuck’s upper management isn’t laughing their asses off at incidents like this you must have fallen out of a tree. And the bogus apology they put out reads word for word what another company sent out years ago. Wake up already.

The problem with that Starbucks is they just don’t have enough homeless people there to make the customers feel safe. Maybe the police and community can come together and help bring more homeless people there. And always remember corporate Starbucks is our friend just ask them.

Does this mean they will be closing all stores for Feel Safe training. Maybe in the training they will include who to call when it’s the police they are afraid of.
Maybe, Starbucks could start their own private security force to answer their calls for assistance. Look at the jobs they would create.

Write Mr Howard Schultz- he's the billionaire founder.

EthicsandCompliance@Starbucks.com

I did.....and was surprised not only to get a prompt, courteous reply, but was pleasantly surprised to see Starbucks officials here in Tempe
to personally respond to this outrage. The exec here in Az gave a very inclusive, and firm message that not only were officers welcome
in their establishments, they were to be treated with the dignity and respect our first responders are entitled to.

You all can make up your own mind about this....my thought is that it was just one customer giving one employee a really hard time. And said employee (being probably young and scared) felt it was easier and safer to take on the cops than the customer.

Knowing that AZ is rich in Chicago laterals, the Luring LightLoafer sent a COPA Team of affiliates and currently looking into the matter, posted light post flyers seeking all witnesses to come forward, extending their search as far west as Cucamonga CA.
Reckoning is coming and right quick.

---------

I am not LEO, and I am very happy with this. If you don't want to make an official complaint, the police should just walk away and let the two parties settle it themselves.

Cmon. You all too smart to fall for that robbery line....there ain't no money in a Starbucks......every decent robber out there knows that.

All the money is on the customers phones or Golden Starbucks cards......cuz for each one you buy, with the phone or the
card, something like every twelfth one is FREE!

Taking after the Democratic way......FREE FREE FREE!

Starbucks was the company that stated they would hire Muslims, are BLM supporters, hire illegals and hire and support just about everything that is currently wrong in the USA. They hate the police, refused to send their shitty coffee to the big sand box for our military.

Wake the fuck up and do not patronize that fucking shitty liberal crappy coffee dump. I stopped going to that place 10 - 20 years ago.

But I still see coppers going in and getting that shit for free. Really, you guys cant take a pass on that shit?
