Remember when you landed a "spot" in a unit? You (usually) tried to keep your nose clean lest you get launched (if your clout wasn't heavy enough):
- There will be one spot (in Mass Transit) opening up. One of the blessed two-year wonders got locked up in 019 last night while drunk in a bar. She resisted arrest and at the time was wearing a clown costume.
Costume matches the attitude evidently.

I'll never understand the morons who risk this job by doing dumb shit at bars, especially the ones who choose to work at the bars. Drunk cops can never listen to the "just shut the fuck up and leave" advice. They all want to try to justify the stupid shit they did, which always works out great for drunks. If you want to go out and get drunk and stupid, don't do it in Chicago, and don't drive. If you want to work at a bar, see if they'll pay you $90k to check IDs and break up fights. Otherwise, you're risking it all for a few dollars. All it takes is one incident to get you jammed up and fired. And when the police respond, it's all being recorded by body cams. Good luck fighting that.

She was recently removed as a tactical Lieutenant for no activity and then promoted. The identity politics of this Department are embarrassing. Johnson, Riccio and Staples should be ashamed of themselves.
Here are the things that Rubino has failed at, she was a lazy Detective, disengaged as a Sergeant and dumped as a Lieutenant. This career of poor performance was outweighed by some other skill.

She was a part of that 90 day detail sent to help of Mass Transit and Cindy Sam. They decided to keep 15 of the arrogant clowns. Not the best or brightest group but they sure are pretty. Most of them are walking lawsuits or ticking CR numbers. Very poor decision to keep any if them. We veterans already know to avoid them and their drama. Good luck to the supervisors who gotta clean up their mess.

If this person is connected then nothing will happen. Remember, an off duty connected Sgt nearly got away with shooting a kid. Once the video got out he got a slap while the rest of us would be sitting in jail for years.
Should have just went and sat in her car slump’t o’er the wheel, open the window ‘bout an inch, hollerback ‘do you know who I am’ and then drive away.
Sad that the city has lowered itself to hiring clowns, let alone giving them cush spots, but hilarious as well, if the reports are factual and on the up and up.

She was in a squad car, off duty, running late to the movie detail going full lights and sirens hitting a pedestrian. Where in the general orders does it say it’s permissible to drive lights and sirens because you are late on your day off to the movie detail???? Enjoy your money mr pedestrian. You have absolutely earned this ghetto lottery. And she is a five year wonder who is a Dollie of a certain gold star. Yep, she too will be promoted one day. That movie detail must be dangerous there was another with a marked squad that ran into the Viaduct @ Lawrence in bound Kennedy hurrying up to make it to the movie detail on time.

nine cars for a district the size of Austin ,Englewood together is not fair , equal protection to the citizens of Morgan Park , Beverly and Mount Greenwood . There are 3 or 4 alderman in the district , city could reduce alderman by 70% and no one would notice or care .
