Trooper Hurt
- An Illinois State Trooper was dragged by a car Monday during a traffic stop on I-294 in the north suburbs.
Two state troopers were conducting a traffic stop about 8:45 p.m. on the expressway near Golf Road in Glenview when a rear passenger jumped into the driver’s seat, Illinois State Police said in a statement. The person started driving while a trooper was partially in the vehicle, state police said.
The trooper was dragged an unspecified distance before falling out of the vehicle, state police said. The car continued fleeing.
The article helpfully neglected to describe the vehicle or the offender lest he be caught and imprisoned.

CCSAO will charge the driver to simple misdemeanor attempt battery, then let him plead it down to a petty offense or parking ticket.
Troopers conducting TS’s on the expressways with cars flying 70MPH+ is uncomfortable enough.. I don’t know how much brainwashing goes on in that down south academy but it ain’t worth endangering your life for this State. Most big city and small burb coppers caught on and see this job for what it is.

Traffic is a waist the judges are too scared to convict. Why bother? They'll learn when the county starts cutting clerks and judges when no on gets written. Why does traffic court have these high of fees?

How about the girlfriend of a west suburb cop who almost hit a trooper on I-55 and how the big guys in Forestview tried to get her off the hook for a dui. ISP is none too happy about little FV meddling in their shit. FV even fired a guy over it to keep it quiet.

Prayers for this road warrior this is happening much to frequently the state police were at 1 time respected now it seems due to the total lack of respect from the elected it "trickles down" to all law enforcement people. That is another reason i will always stop to assist the troopers and offer any type of help needed on stops!
Stinks having to search a suspect vehicle because of political correctness policy and cards, from the front seat while protected CookCo feral youth are allowed to sit in the back seat with keys in the ignition too.

You're searching cars with people sitting in them? That's just fucking stupid. I don't think you understand how to properly do your job. Please don't stop anyone or you might get yourself or someone else killed.
