More Coyotes

For a supposedly "rare" event, this would make three incidents in a week:
  • Chicago police and officers from Animal Care and Control left the scene near the Shedd Aquarium Friday night after being unable to catch up with a coyote that was spotted near the lakeshore.

Police were notified about 6:53 p.m. that someone saw a possible coyote “running after a jogger,” on a path near the Shedd Aquarium, 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive, on the city’s Near South Side, according to Officer Jessica Alvarez, a spokeswoman for the police.

Animal Care and Control was notified, Alvarez said, and no one was injured.
The six-year-old bitten, the 32-year old bitten, and now a jogger chased. We're hoping to see a pack of 'yotes drag down someone carrying an armful of coats from a Michigan Avenue store before spring.

Between the coyotes and the inner city yutes this city is reminding me of the movie Naked Prey starring Cornel Wilde.

Ironic how a coyote story in Chicago is a bigger news story than groups of inner city blacks attacking, beating and robbing white people in the Gold Coast, Downtown and Streeterville communities. Only in Chicago.... Chicago Values

I would propose trapping them, but PETA and the softhearted and softheaded Chicagoans will freak out.

Concerned Citizen here,
I need some help and advice. I am looking to start a new business in Chicago. The name of the business will be Gold Coast Safari. Gold Coast Safari will offer adventure packages to hunters so they could end the scourge of varmints plaguing the wealthier parts of the city. Since these hunters would come from free states. They would come to Chicago all kitted up with load bearing vests with pouches for their 30 round assault magazines, ballistic helmets with night vision goggles. Their kit would include thermal night vision. “Find em with thermal, kill em with infra red”. To placate the liberal campaign donors living in these parts of the city all evil black rifles will be equipped with suppressors to keep noise pollution to a minimum. They hate pollution. When these hunters are unable to bag a coyote they can satisfy their blood lust by offing the “no limit” rats roaming Chicago. As a bonus having these hunters prowling the Mag Mile, Millennium Park and the lake front it would reduce the wilding, the smash and grabs and the general mayhem that also infests these areas of the city. Any suggestion with licensing and such would be appreciated.
P.S. If a business license is denied maybe the CPD tacteams and their 20 grand of individual kit could get in some practice which is apparently desperately needed.

Crimesha and dart went to animal control with a pizza for the one coyote they caught with the bad leg. They put an ankle bracelet on him and told animal control to let him go.

And what about the migratory species of jackals that hunt in the Loop, North Michigan Avenue and the CTA? They are even pursuing prey in the suburbs thanks to the Fox who is the leader of PETA (Prosecutors Encouraging The Assholes).

To profit off this, Vanecko Inc has begun selling Acme anvils throughout the city utilizing a Divvy based anvil selling system. Of course, even if the coyotes don't rent any anvils, the city will still pay Vanecko Inc $4 million a month. There will be no anvil deserts in this city under Groot's watch.
Will the MSM point out the direct correlation between the opening of cannabis dispensaries and the dramatic increase in coyote attacks?!?!?

Killings, stabbings, robberies, feral youth mob violence, continual carjackings, a plethora of corrupt politicians and most recently, bomb threats and this City is deferring to a couple few coyotes...in Sanctuary.

It’s outrageous, egregious, preposterous.
Shepards, Huskies and Malinois are wrongfully being profiled.
These animals need to feel welcomed. We can’t be chasing them just for running away, they dindu nuffin.
It’s not who we are.

I live in southwest cook county, they are all over here. Our little friends have taken several of my neighbors little dogs. Go to Silver Cross Hospital and they get a coyote bit every two or three weeks. This is a dangerous time for little dogs and humans. First of all there is hardly any food around for them and second it is matting season. if they see a little dog they will go after it no matter if you are walking them I carry my little automatic with me when I walk my dog

to the chumbalone who said these " poor " animals are hungry and should be fed and moved to another habitat. its called natural selection. when animals over populate a food source only the strong survive but you want human interferance. did it ever occur to your pea brain that you are dumping them in anothers established territory? few relocated animals survive and you also spread diseases that way and its hugely expensive, thousands per critter. im sure youre one of those buttholes that feeds wild animals and then demands us taxpayers do something about it when they eat your fucking labradoodle. its simpletons like you that destroy everything you touch with your feel good bullshit. i propose this dear bleeding heart. lets relocate the first fifty to your yard. you will be responsible for all costs, food and vet bills. and if that works to warm your little heart we can send you 50 illegals next. i shouldnt have to pay for your insanity. dont fuck with mother nature and she wont fuck with you. in closing, i like coyotes, they do a fine job dispatching vermin as they are designed to do. i dont mess with them, they dont mess with me. now go out and put a few more bernie stickers on your prius nitwit! p.s. its illegal to relocate any animals in illinois for any reason. but laws never get in the way of a liberals feels. dumbass.

I do a lot of running on the trails in the Palos - Willow Springs Forest Preserves, including at dawn and dusk. Seen plenty of coyotes and deer, never had a problem, seems like they are all waiting for me to clear out of there. Maybe the fancy expensive restaurants downtown have conditions which draw vermin and hence the coyotes.

Coyotes are breeding now. They chase off last year's pups and they scatter, ending up wherever there is prey. The rat situation is probably keeping them local. It should be amusing to watch the liberals that see no evil in illegals or folkses justify the trend. Even if you were to relocate them, they can travel 50 miles in a day. FWIW, I've trapped for a living and done animal control work for more than 45 years...

Phelps, Wisconsin has a very effective coyote relocation program. First, they stop them from running away and then they relocate them to the local taxidermist. Sometime later they are finally relocated to the home of a hunter where they never bother anybody. Try it, you will like it. http://www.phelpswi.us/phelps-5th-annual-predator-hunt-for-2014
