Karlov and Madison. Two blocks east of my HS alma mater, St. Mel HS when I lived in a great safe neighborhood called Austin in St. Thomas Aquinas parish. Newcomers didn't like the name of the church so they changed it to St. Martin de Porres.

Sgt on-viewed the shooting, offender then shot the Sgt in the arm and then while being transported to the hospital by an 011th district unit, sees the offenders' vehicle exiting 290. They give chase, offenders crash, and the wounded Sgt and po from 011 place the 2 offenders into custody. If that's not some hard core police work, I don't know what is. Well done sir. Prayers for a quick recovery.
Incident was reported on WGN radio, roe Cohn show about 5:00, after newsman stated the shooter was in custody, Roe Cohn stated that Kim Foxx would make sure he was released within 3 hours . Roe can be a putz, but he’s on target with this !
Thank god he didn’t get hit in an artery. Big balls making the choice to get the jag off while still bleeding in the back of the squad. I salute you fellow brother Sgt.

It was a great job by everyone. That sergeant is an animal, thank god he’s on our side. The POs transporting him and who ended up apprehending the other offender who had a gun while transporting the Sgt to the hospital, you two are some hardcore mother fuckers. Officers MP and TB, it’s always been great to have worked with you, but it really makes me proud what you two did today.

Sorry to inconvenience you boss or take you away from your illegal property in the district but you truly are all about yourself. An officer working in your district of command and you can’t even show respect to him or every other officer. Seems to me he needs another promotion. Please watch the press conference and watch him keep rolling his eyes and hopefully you can post the video so the whole world sees it.
