Carjackings "Spike"

If you reward bad behavior (and non punishment is a reward of sorts) you get more of it....lots more of it:
  • Two carjackers battered and carjacked a 72-year-old man on the city’s Northwest Side yesterday evening, just hours after Chicago police announced a new focus on reversing a 75% rise in vehicular hijackings this year.

And two more carjackings unfolded in River North on Thursday night, including one in which an offender fired a handgun. No one was shot, though.

At least three carjackings were reported on Wednesday evening — one in each in the Gold Coast, Fulton Market, and West Ridge neighborhoods. Cops initially thought Wednesday’s cases were related, but further investigation revealed that different crews were responsible for the heists, Interim Police Supt. Charlie Beck later announced.

“The criminal justice system has to get serious about how they deal with some of these juveniles,” CPD Dep. Supt. Anthony Riccio said on Friday. “A lot of what we see are the same crews doing it over and over again. So, we’re gonna have to definitely address the problem of juveniles and the crime that they’re committing.”
Hahahahahaha. Addressing juvenile crime? Did he not see the post the other day about the juvenile murderers being released from the Audy home with nothing more than a curfew? Carjackers will probably get a pat on the head and a new pair of sneakers before being cut free.
  • Riccio made the remarks as he announced the reconstitution of a multi-agency carjacking task force. He said 117 vehicular hijackings had been reported in 2020 as of earlier this week, up from 67 during the same time in 2019.

“I can promise we will get to the bottom of it,” Riccio said.

The city saw 113 carjackings during the period in 2018 and 109 in 2017, according to city records.
You know what would address it pretty quickly....and at about 1,200 feet per second?

Crimesha Foxx's, Toni Prickwrinkle's, Lori Lightloafer's

But there's always this:

Even if you catch them nothing is going to happen to them.

Only a Task Force with the specific mission
of interdicting and killing armed violent
carjackers will make a dent in this trend.

Until "tha' communerty" whines and cries
about how "mean, unfair and RACIST" it is
to kill m/fers who run around sticking
pistols in taxpaying, law abiding citizens
faces...

"WAH! It's ONLY a property crime!"

...Until it ain't.

No?

Every free, upright and law abiding man,
according to his conscience and that which
he feels will allow him to stand before his
Maker in hope of merciful judgement.

When the courts and laws of man have failed
the decent and law abiding, there is no shame
at all in letting the Old Testament be your
guide to having a circumspect walk in life
and keeping yourself free from being intruded
and trod upon by those who opt to live outside
of the reasonable bounds set by society.

Pay no heed to the community of perpetual grievants
and leftistswho insist that YOU fighting "THEM" back
to protect yourself and what you worked your ass off
to have, is wrong, immoral and "RACIST."

Even THEY don't believe the donkey dung they spew,

Some of the citizenry know and were practicing today, but it was a bit faster +P+ and all that.

We are tired of the bullshit, police officers do their job's only to be shat upon by the criminal knows as Fuxx who endangers the good folks who work, want to raise their kid's and enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet.
This is getting old real fast. +P+ fast!
Let us see what would happen if a sudden blue flu was to strike and the public got a taste of the unbridled mayhem that is prevented everyday and night by Chicago's finest?

I was in juvi court a year back, and this young whipper snapper came before the judge on a vehicular hijacking case. Nothing out of the ordinary, but here’s the rub, and I’m not exaggerating, he had 4 other vehicular hijacking cases currently going. So that day he was before the judge on his now 5th active hijacking case. And again, not exaggerating, the little rapscallion was sent home again as he promised not to do it again. There’s nothing on the police side of things to be solved. We can catch them all day everyday, but if the court system has no teeth, all the police work in the world doesn’t matter.

A 71 year old man getting carjacked in the 5900 block of north sauganash lane should raise a few eyebrows. Will the city back up any officers who locate this vehicle occupied with bodies and initiate a chase. Groot wants officers to be proactive and stop the madness, she said so at her big pow wow a few weeks ago. Make no mistake about it, she will be the first in line to brush you with barbecue sauce before they put you on the grill.

Can one suggest seat belt missions in these high crime areas. Or use the underage juvenile cannabis strategy. Create a armed robbery a civil violation ordinance. Have arrested juvenile armed robbery offenders sign a Cook County Civil Law Citation legal document down to the age of 13 for this offense. Parental intervention is not required just like a juvenile cannabis citation. A Civil Law Citation does not require parental notification. Policy prohibits officers from notifying parents if their children are puffing away on marijuana at a tender age. Best not to get the parents involved. The state will act as the parental units. Citations, not arrests, are key to crime reduction. The tender age juveniles sign the citation, are released and are forever punished by signing a useless non-enforceable document.

Well, Task Force Tony filled that task force with his people (as he always does) and they were allowed to pick which car jacking a they got to work on (you know the ones where they could pad their overtime). It did nothing to actually solve a problem and it was all bluster for the media as far a I remember. He does have one point- what’s the point in solving anything if you let the offenders walk out the door with a slap on the wrist? With all the oversight & recliner quarterbacking from everyone not the police, the police aren’t actually allowed to be proactive any longer and prevent carjackings.

There is an effort underway to change how arrested juveniles are handled through the processing process-one of which is prohibiting officers from handcuffing arrested juveniles. Another is not allowing officers to use ANY force (other than on an assailant). So if your uncuffed juvenile runs out of the processing area and onto the street, you will soon not be allowed to tackle them and drag them back to be processed. You must either let them go or convince them to go back to the station with you.

No bullshit. If anyone thinks I’m full of shit...well...just wait and see. The effort is already underway. Some at the top are fighting it, but there is a definite push for this

Shouldn't need the Feds to prosecute class X felonies. If Cook Co. can't even take Class X felonies seriously then WTF? Oh, that's right, if the case file does not say murder on it it is not a crime to be concerned with. You get 6 yrs for a robbery then add 15 if a gun is used. Even if you get 50% good time that's still over 10 years. That should do it. Had one recently and dude plead out to 6 years I believe. Short and sweet and I have no problem with that, even though he had a sheet. That was a good case but not a great case so the state had to do the plea deal. No problem. 6 years, out in 3. Whatever. The problem with the county is that it takes so damn long to go to trial. What is the norm 2 years I would guess? Debatable whether dude would be held on bond. I think he would, generally. The Fed system is great and all, but how will they deal with a case that is not slam dunk? Some of these cases are just the video, which can be very good sometimes, and then the ID. Dude makes no statement. I don't know, just thinking out loud. But what a shame the County can't do right by such a serious crime. Disgusting.

"1,200 feet per second?"

Here's a question that many of the non-CPD readers would like the real cops to address. It could save us all a lot of trouble. Asking your department for guidance would only result in a lecture on how armed citizens are a menace to all.

I don't live in your great city, but I am occasionally required to visit it. I have a nice car, I also have a 40 Cal. pistol that I practice with. I go the range and sit in my car and do live fire exercises shooting out both the driver's and passenger's side windows.

I am not a Captain America looking to do your job. I am old and have gotten old by not pushing my nose into other people's business.

When I drive in your fair city I do so with my pistol under my right leg so I can get at it. With the armed thug at the window a pistol in the jockey box or a holster will only get you shot. I haven't been stopped by the police in many, many years, and when I have a pistol I am extra careful to not give any of you folks a reason to stop me.

So here is my question: If I, or others in my situation, were to get stopped by Chicago's Finest what do we do? Smart money might be to do nothing. I don't drink and drive, so there's reason I would be told to get out of the car, but an officer walking up on the passenger side might see the pistol under my leg, a situation that I think would frighten anyone.

On the other hand it seems to me that a cop standing at the driver's door would want to know the old guy sitting a few feet from him/her has a pistol within easy reach. It's my experience that young kids and old men are the most dangerous; the kids too stupid to know any better and the old guy is at the end of the journey with not much to lose.

Give us some advise. What do the real cops expect of a CCW holder when they stop them?

Sub-Standard Traffic Enforcement, reckless driving, excessive speeding, tailgating, and driver frustration due to traffic backups at every major intersection, with no OLPD Squads ever in sight or enforcing traffic and DUI Laws. Several hazardous intersections and area on Cicero by the Cheaters Club, (OL Hilton Bar, where married guys hang out to cheat on their spouses) highly dangerous, as traffic backs up constantly due to the sequence of traffic lights not synchronized properly, and area traffic in a mess due to no police enforcement, the traffic backs up and you can easily get caught on the Metra tracks if not careful, unable to pull forward or backward due to the traffic jams, and be stuck-pinned in, on the tracks. Coupled with the drunk drivers from Happy Hour (3 hours long), ATTN: MADD, and the rest of the fools in a big hurry, plus the commuter and freight trains, it could get you killed. 111 & Cicero area also a dangerous, non- policed area full of negligent drivers and local drunks leaving bars and restaurants. Entire 95th Street a complete mess with non-stop Ambulances racing to the Hospital endlessly with injured people, many from traffic accidents nearby. Carjacking is only a "property crime. Yes, that's a great way of spinning that bullshit if you are a SJW Democrat, Kim Foxx or a member of the exalted local "4th estate - better known as the " 5th Column Groot Propaganda Machine".

It doesn't work fine when some low life M/F'ers sticks a pistol in your face and then you are one trigger pull from being dead. Ask the families of those two robbery/murder victims in China Town several weeks ago. They cooperated with the Community Thug and were murdered point blank. One trigger pull and your just another homicide statistic that Groot and LA Beck can talk about at a presser and tell all that its "unacceptable and doesn't reflect Chicago Values".

Now Beck is setting up a Carjacking Task Force. Last week they are putting SWAT on the CTA rails. He reorganized the Dept last month and is putting more police on the streets. More police for the Mag Mile, for schools, more police for this crime wave, more for that crime wave. Beck is pulling imaginary people out of his ass. They are taking beat/Tact officers from the Districts and putting them everywhere but keeping them in your District.

The separate crime waves are occurring at such an accelerated pace that the "old bait and witch" doesn't work any more. You are running out of police officer's. Once again we see through your lies. Go back to LA and tell'em a few good stories about how you straighten out and solved the crime problems in Shitty City. Tell'em all about reform under the Imp's punishing and vindictive style of pay back to the Dept and the Community.

Leave it all to Commander Jill Stevens, asleep at the wheel. Clueless!

Aren't all these carjackings and robberies why the previous commander got "promoted"? Because his clout didn't want the golden boy reputation tarnished any further?

I prefer the 850 to 900 FPS a .45 will do....

2/23/2020 09:11:00 AM

Heh...

A cut-down and smoothed .45 Colt snub nose
launching 255 to 270 grain Keith slugs at
850 to 900 fps is a FORMIDABLE man-stopper
at eyeball-to-eyeball range.

The human pressure vessel WILL fatally leak out
when center punched with a heavy-for-caliber,
hard cast, flat nosed slug with sharp shoulders.

Entrance hole... Wound track... Exit hole...

Keith slugs are fearsome bone breakers too.

Perfect for groups of mob-robbing savages,
you might be able to tickle a couple with
a single shot.

No spent casings and some laid-out hyenas.

Shoot.
Scoot.

"Get Little."

Less aggravation for the upright and law
abiding and less likelihood of being retaliated
against by Groot and Crimesha for laying out
some community members seeking to separate you
from what you worked your ass off to have.

"WAH! It's just a "property crime" so you
shot him/them for NO GOOD REASON!"

018 won't have to worry now that Cmdr Jill Stevens - with all her operational and well rounded police tactics and strategies - is on the case. Her answer at the news conference: don't resist, just give up your car.

You and a lot of us want to vomit! She's so freakin clueless it isn't funny, she's never been on the street! WTF does she know, it's sickening to see people like her getting promoted.

As a CC citizen, you are required to inform any law enforcement officer that you are in possession of a gun and if requested, to surrender that gun until the encounter is over.

Don't keep that baby under your thigh. I know it seems like it affords easier accessibility, but consider this. Some of these car-jackings occur when the bad guys rear-end you and pretend like it's an accident. If you get hit from behind and you are not expecting it, the gun can fall to the floor of the car. Next thing you know, dude is upon you and your gun is under your seat. That's exactly why three F.B.I. agents died in the Miami shootout with the bank robbers in the late 80's. Anticipating a shootout, they pulled their guns and placed them under their legs for easy access. The bad guys rammed their vehicles causing the guns to fall. Always keep the gun in a holster until ready to use. Find a holster that you feel comfortable with and that allows drawing from a seated position.

10:04am. Keep your hands on the steering wheel when they approach and inform the officers as soon as they approach that you are a CCW holder, that you are armed, and where the gun is located. Do not move around and listen to officers commands.

Buckle-up Americans, we are in for a bumpy ride. Just look across the pond for glimpse of our New World Order future:

"Excessive Defense" is the name of the charge they drop when you protect yourself in Europe. Your imminent death is the only justification for harming your attacker; the saavy carry a "drop knife" to arm the dead assailant.

Coming soon to a theater near you.

The garbage who attacked the 72 year old man was caught. Will Lori and Kims butt boy Lausch charge them with a federal hate crime? No. Lausch is a RINO who listens to lori like the loser he is. And when is the Rahm, Daley, Cullerton, madigan, Van Pelt , and Ferguson obstruction of justice indictments coming? Never.

The next time the Irate & Vindictive Imp bangs off some
misdirected fire from her misshapen food-hole about how
she's gonna have her "Federal Partners" "lean-in" and
help solve these community hyenas migrating to areas
where The Police ain't (by deliberate design) and law
abiding tax payers ARE, she should be punted in her ass.

There ain't no "Federal Partners" coming to Chicago because
she has repeatedly shown her ass by disregarding FEDERAL
LAWS and openly disrespecting and shit-talking POTUS.

Whether Mx. Militantly Malignant Midget Mayor wants to
acknowledge or not, she is ass out.

Sanctuary City mayors fear a 2nd term for DJT because they
KNOW that FEDERAL indictments, perp-walks, trial and
imprisonment is their just reward.

To the cops who addressed my question regarding a ccw holder being stopped by the police......

Thank you....also about the advice where to house the weapon.

You men and women have a very difficult job, made more difficult by the former president. There was a guy who president before many of you were born named Richard Nixon. He actually was a pretty good president and he coined the phrase 'silent majority. "

The silent majority of Americans are firmly behind you, although maybe not in Chicago. Too bad, I use to love Chicago.

Not sure about that, but he is a total stroke otherwise. Puts on a fake front, and behind it all he is a self-serving prick, cheated to make rank, and forgets about anyone who has made him look good. Typical CPD hack.
