No Shit Crimesha

  • Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx on Tuesday admitted that her office “dropped the ball on the level of transparency” in her handling of the Jussie Smollett case — but argued she has made the prosecutor’s office “a model for the nation.”

“When I ran for this office in 2016 I ran on a platform that would be fundamentally different than how this office was run,” Foxx said. “That’s what I’ve done, the efforts that we’ve led on criminal justice reform are fundamental, I believe, to public safety.”

But Foxx’s Democratic primary opponents scoffed.
Crimesha wins the general election if she gets past the primary. The only reason there are three white candidates running against Foxxx is to split the other voting blocs into sections too small to overcome the black bloc. So who to vote for?

Discount Fioretti - he's there at the behest of the Machine to draw away 5-to-10% of the vote totals.

Conway is running on Daddy's money.

More is really taking Foxxx to the woodshed and laying it all out there. So far, she looks like the best bet, but Fioretti (and Conway) have to be gone for her to have a real chance.

In that recent interview/debate online, Kim Foxxxxx did not answer one single question. Not one. Every single question, even the most direct and shortest questions were talked in circles around to say something that didn’t answer the question. It was sickening to watch. The other candidates did a pretty decent job calling her out, but that won’t mean anything.
And you’re right, she’ll still win. We are so screwed.

On a different note- have you seen the door-hanger material Kim Foxxxx has been putting out to publicize her campaign? I don’t have a copy of it, but I can try to get one. Someone may have even sent it to you. If not, it lists her platform. It basically highlights her fight to overturn convictions, relax drug laws, expunging drug convictions, and looking out for minorities being taken advantage of by the system. You know what was missing from the campaign flyer touting her platform/abilities? ANYTHING EVEN MENTIONING PROSECUTING CASES!
You’d think that a States Attorney may want to at least mention her interest or ability in fighting crime and keeping the streets safe.
Oh well, the people will get what they vote for.

It’s kind of funny, we look at people living in California like liberal idiots. People in a whole lot of places in this country look at Chicago as idiots also and say “they get what they vote for.” And sadly they are right. Can’t wait to leave so I can be painted with a better and more suitable paintbrush by others generalizations. Shame, this used to be such a great city too.

On one of the other post, some Mt. Greenwood guy was incredulous that the last primary he voted in (2018?), his R ballot request caught the election judges off-guard. Wasnt the big thing that year the Lipinski - Newman primary showdown? The staff was probably worried that a likely-Lipinski voter was taking himself out of the game. You know, the need for solid conservatives to prop up Dan Lipinski that round took away potential governor votes for Jeanne Ives.

Conway won’t go anywhere, he has a lot of Daddy’s money to spend. He even has some politicians privately supporting him. Nobody will call out Fioretti for being a vote splitter, the machine will destroy them, but that is exactly what he does and is. The only chance Cook County residents have is to support More. Although they better contribute and support quickly, financially she can not compete with the machine and East Coast money. Merchants in Cook County should look in to financially backing a prosecutor that is will to prosecute shoplifters who are destroying their businesses throughout Cook County. That is not Conway, who according to his political add feels we wrongly detain people based on economic status instead of criminal behavior.

More needs to win the primary to give hard working, law abiding, citizens viable options in the general election. Otherwise 4 more years of Foxx and lawless public defense.

KmmmFxxxx2020 is Fundamentally full of shit.
Cook Co is not the birthplace of Restore-Justus, nor the leader and hardly the model of the bullshit policy. Cook County was the follower of this Catch and Release policy. LA, SF, NYC, Seattle and Baltimore were pioneers. Soros $$$ funding and Auntie PrickWrinkle put KmmmFxxxUp on the social justice map because she’s just that weak and easily manipulated.
Due to KmmmFxxx2020, Cook County DOES lead the nation in violent criminal recidivism and is up there in (reported) per capita crime rates.

I agree on Donna More. But a bit skeptical of that compassion malarkey she promotes whether it’s campaign bs or true.

Fioretti the perennial candidate, another opportunist, made his money by suing and settling with the City/CPD for civil rights violations.
I remember seeing his mug on bus stop bench’s years ago in 013 advertising his legal services.
Can’t figure out why FOP endorsed the crab.

It’s all about turn-out for the March 17th primary.
Condensed from Russ Stewart’s prediction:
KmmmFxxxx needs around 400,000 community votes to get the Democrat nomination. At stake are about 250,000 lakefront liberals voting for her restorative justice policies that would put her back in her 2016 nomination numbers of 600,000 votes to win.
Dem challengers More-Fioretti-Conway will hack away at the remain 700,000 ballots but that 3 way split will give KmmmFxxxx the majority to get nomination.

Where’s the campaign in the 41st Ward? Where’s the foot soldiers?
Nothing up here from any CCSAO candidates.
A month to go before the Primary Early Voting starts and I’ve only received one (1) doorknob hanger last week promoting Kilroy (D) for 41st Ward Committeeperson, (yes, committeePERSON - gosh, this bs doesn’t stop. Call it what is and stop the pandering).
Are the law abiding being taken for granted again?
Remember that GMac won one (1) Ward and that was the 41st and I don’t recall anyone hanging a flyer on my door either.

I am voting Democrat this March - against KmmmFxxxx.
So far I’m leaning to unknown Conway, but he’s yet to come out swinging hard against KmmFxxx, his ads are lackluster, D.More might not afford ads or workers and Fioretti is a brand name because he’s always running for some office.

In the November General I intend to vote Republican;
whether it’s Pfannkuche or O’Brien for States Atty ...and of course President Donald J. Trump, the GOP Senator, the GOP 5th Congressional Dist nominees too.

More got about 15% in 2016. In that race she had money to buy significant tv ads. This time she has very little money per the IL board of elections. So she has very little chance to win. Fioretti is a perennial loser. The best bet is to vote for Conway. Also since the Republicans have very few contested races, consider taking a dem ballot in primary to stop foxx. At the Tribune Editorial Board interview he comments how he has worked with coppers or detectives who survived on coffee alone for 3 days just to see a case through. Obviously he is showing his respect for us. No other candidate has said anything pro-police.

Moore only mentions retail theft!! Wtf, that’s all she cares about is downtown shopping. Fioretti has no chance, don’t vote for him.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. I think you’ll like Conway. Who cares if his dad is wealthy. That means he’s probably more conservative. Right?

Donna More was on The Mancow this morning, More told the Mancow she spoke to Fioretti months ago that he was just running for a judgeship and not Sts Atty, she called him the spoiler, unelectable, a paid shill candidate and a liar. She said if elected she’d investigate him to find out who slated him to run at the last minute. So the either ball busting or offended Mancow calls his pal Fioretti at the same time More is in the studio and asks him what’s up with that. The Fio’boner couldn’t reply, babbled a bit and basically called More a maniac. I think the exchange is on the WLS 890 website.

Anyone who follows the elections knows Fioretti is a lot like shifty Carol Moseley Braun. The onetime IL senator, lost re-election and ran 3-4 times for all sorts of offices since including mayor. Heck, Wilson and Burris were known for it too. Guess it’s the money they collect for their spoiler roles and dole it back out to the sponsors campaign in exchange for a sweet gig with benefits. Braun hosed the campaign for $300k and still managed a Clinton ambassadorship, but fell out so bad she was even evicted from her LSD crib.

Here's the fact you and the rest of the Rauner-is-a-boogeyman liberals want forgotten: Pensions in Illinois are, in fact, in a crisis. Rauner's attempt at pension reform was a charade and his whole time as governor was scripted by Rahm. But be clear, Rauner always said his plan EXCLUDED police and fire... The courts shut down any effort otherwise as planned so he could throw his hands up, be defeated and be the useless placeholder until the fixers and polls allowed for their fat repugnant billionaire Pritzker take over. Illinois did not have a republican governor with Rauner, Illinois, as usual, got scammed.

From Twitter account @cookcountyasa

“I am just like the people who come up in our system,” Foxx shared. “I have more in common with the people in our criminal justice system than the 800 lawyers that work there.”

This is offensive & disrespectful to all ASAs, .@KimFoxxforSA. Shame on you.

It’s incredible that you apparently believe you’re the only one among us who’s been affected by the criminal justice system or who grew up in less than ideal conditions. I think you’d be surprised how many of us share life experiences similar to your own if you bothered to ask.

It’s also profoundly disturbing how willing you are to say what will benefit you in the short-term electorally while paying no mind to the long-term damage ur words do to the morale of the 800 men & women who everyday serve the citizens of Cook County as best they can, to say nothing of how recklessly your words further fan the flames of the pernicious “us v. them” mentality that pervades both our criminal justice system and our society.

You should be completely ashamed of yourself for using the people you purport to lead as a punching bag to score a cheap political point with whoever your words and message are intended to resonate.

While the latter may choose to support you at the ballot box, & while I suspect you will ultimately win re-election, you should ask yourself what good it does to retain your office if you don’t care to have the support of those under your command and instead choose to insult us.

Fioretti and More are in the low single digits in polls. Neither of them can win. Conway is the only candidate that has a shot against Foxx. Bottom line: a vote for anyone but Conway is a vote for Foxx. The only priority should be getting rid of Foxx.

The polls I’ve seen show Foxx with a third of the votes, Fioretti with a fifth and More and Conway with less than a tenth each. That leaves a third of the voters undecided. Unless the undecideds go heavily for Fioretti, More or Conway, the Foxx remains in the henhouse with less than 40% of the vote. Neither Republican can beat her.

Reading the comments on this blog it’s obvious why Foxx will win. Some for More, some for Conway and even a few pro Fioretti. Two of these need to drop out but of course none will. And no one here will change their mind. There’s no way to unite the large anti Foxx vote so she wins.
Disgusting but that’s the reality.

But be clear, Rauner always said his plan EXCLUDED police and fire...

************

Yeah, that's called divide and conquer MR. Rauner. You really must think we're stupid enough to believe his sole purpose with that lie was to get police and fire to help out his vote on everyone else and never go after police and fire.

Police and fire were the goal. Without their vote against every other pension it wasn't gonna happen, so he can claim to leave them out, then when the next round of pension cuts comes through he has everyone BUT police and fire vote against police and fire and then police and fire get burned too.

Yah, takes real smarts to figure that one out. not

Bill Conway will draw a surprising amount of black votes in this contest.

Rauner's pension gutting plan could not legally have "excluded" police and fire. A public pension is a public pension. Donna More supported those efforts to strip all public employees of their pensions. That's simply a fact. Plus she'd be the best State's Attorney the gaming industry could buy. Her own poll showed Fioretti in second. She should drop off and endorse Bob.

For those of you who are skeptical of Conway based on some of his ads, think about what those ads are clearly trying to do... pull votes away from people who would otherwise vote for Foxx. She made the campaign about "progressive prosecution" and "restorative justice" and he is playing to those that like that idea. If he can get some votes away from Kim (maybe from those who are now getting robbed and shot at in their formerly "good" neighborhoods) and get a good chunk of the non-Foxx voters, that is his best chance for beating her. The other two should get out of the way lest they split the vote. I expect everyone will be pleasantly surprised with Conway's approach to prosecution post-primary, if he is successful. He was an ASA who worked along side some of the old timers Foxx now hates. And he served in the military. Because he has the resources to buy ad time and reach those who might switch from Foxx to him, he's our best chance. At least that's how I see this.

^^^ Obviously, this is from a staffer on Conway’s campaign. Don’t beiIeve the hype. Conway and More are polling in single digits. Fioretti is the only one close enough to beat Foxx

I guess if the Conway bots post enough on here they think we will believe what the are selling. Foxx’s own pole shows Fioretii within striking distance of her while Donna Moore and the boy wonder hovers at around 8%

After losing US Senate re-election via her many scandals, Carol Moseley Braun sought public office twice, for US President (2004) and Chicago Mayor (2011).

Roland Burris, during his Illinois Comptroller and Attorney General stints (1979-1995), ran for Chicago Mayor (1995), US Senator (1984 & 2009 appointment) and Illinois Governor (1994 & 2002).

In 1990, Republican Jack O'Malley defeated Cook County State's Attorney Cecil Partee, who replaced Ritchie Daley (, who defeated Eugene Sawyer for Chicago Mayor).

Partee's Black support was minimal. Republican mailings and media emphasized Partee being a deadbeat on property taxes, housing fines and child support.

I call BS on this. I didn’t see Trump pandering to a group of criminal extortionists for a vote. You run on what you believe, otherwise your another worthless politician that will put more food in the trough as time goes on to “pull votes”. How about you run on a true law and order platform. Crimes are being committed and not being prosecuted. We need to charge those who commit crimes against the criminal statutes that are written in to law. We need to prosecute those charges and secure convictions. If the people feel the statute is too strict, then vote people in to office that will change the laws as currently written. That’s how our democracy is supposed to work. Not get elected, pander in order to “pull votes”, You definitely are not elected to make up laws as you see fit!

How about trying that.

Goofioretti cannot win. He is totally irrelevant, a laugh, a loser, a liar, a hypocritical asshole. He doesn’t pay his workers. He is not a plant of the machine as the blog says. He is totally irrelevant and anyone in political power of either party think he is a joke..,which he is. He runs to raise money to live off of because his law firm like he is a laugh. His campaign finances especially the so called donation from Buddy Guy needs to be investigated. He is only in the race for ego and to suck up to clown jesss Jackson. He will be defeated soundly again.

^^^ Actually, I am not a staffer on Conway's campaign. I am an ASA... An ASA who has watched Foxx destroy the CCSAO and CC judicial system with her ineptitude, lies, racism, and personal agenda. I don't care who wins. I want anyone but Foxx. But I think Conway has the best chance of beating her right now. In a nutshell... 2 people, any 2 people, need to take one for the collective good and back out. Otherwise it's 4 more years of this BS.

Not gonna happen. Fiorertti gets paid to steal votes. I do however agree with you and am sorry you have to work under Crimisha. This world is truly upside down these days.
