All of our shoots through April 2020 are cancelled. Scheduling for qualification shoots is currently suspended. Once we have information regarding upcoming dates and locations all eligible participants that are currently being processed, will receive an updated schedule to choose a date and location to attend a shoot.
Please keep in mind, there is no grace period after your current card expires. Your IROCC card is a qualification card for Federal Law H.R. 218 Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act. We do not have any authority to make such changes. If something does change, we will post this information immediately.

This is the most fucked up decision ever made by our mayor. Yes we know she doesn’t like police officers but if an entire station gets infected then the community it protects will be without police. There is nothing urgent that the public needs from the desk at our stations. It’s just reports and other nonessential businesses. It can be done over the phone or wait. The media, the public and the governor should be screaming at city hall. If I were a commander I’d lock the doors and put a note to call 911 or 311 or wait until the crisis is over. But I’m sure the commanders could care less too being hidden from the public in their offices or at home. Truly sad.

Cleveland PD which run two man cars said they were going to one man cars because of CV. They weren't sure they were going to have enough cars. I heard an incident the other night where it was a two man car. Interestingly, the medics refused to look over the person, the cops were stuck with him so they were taking him to one of the hospitals to see if they would take him off their hands. Don't know what caused the situation or how it turned out.
I believe the small demon named Larry should house the homeless at her house. Throw the welcome map out and let the alderscum take them in too. Crimetha can take a few, so can Evans and Dart. If you had an unstable lunatic in the neighborhood with a Nuke or two or three, and knew that if that guy's power structure was threatened by a virus, and that he'd be happy to go out in one last blaze of glory by blasting off the nukes because his country was in the shitter (or he was sick), then what would you do?
Protect the surrounding city (in this case the world) by offering to help? Or let the fucker get sick and kill millions with his nukes? Me? I'd help him out. Two reasons:

One week yelled at for wearing masks, next you are getting kicked out ¬- whoever the hell you are - for not. Be it staff, or patient, our ER used to be Packed with patients, lined up down hallways in stretchers because we had run out of rooms. NOT now. We have many many positive and suspected cases, BUT OUR ER LOOKS LIKE A GHOSTOWN NOW. WE have tents outside to triage. You are NOT coming in our ER for any goddamn thing like many do. It’s really eerie in there too now, with plastic barriers down our halls, what we have to wear, etc. But not when we run short on supplies, then who cares. I know I’ve been exposed, I’m sure of it, I just stay away from my mom just in case.
Some of my coworkers are on two week paid leave because they knew they were exposed, but ONLY BECAUSE THEY SPOKE UP. MANY OF US SAW THIS SAME PATIENT but the management doesn’t care. Their emails are lies that say if you've been exposed to a positive patient, we will let you know.
I’m just an assistant, I don’t make much, so I’m like, Okay?? Let’s expose myself but then I don’t panic either. I just fear that I can spread it to others, I’ve seen the patients. Most it doesn't affect them too bad. BUT THEN I KNOW WE HAVE some 40 year olds with it in ICU. They are NOT the person they warned you about.

Almost a week into all these shut downs and we still don't have a sight in the city to test first responders but we're making every effort possible to get us ready to be "deployable" and get us ready as new "CIT" Covid-19 Incident Response Teams because of course, the buck stops with the police and we respond to "EVERYTHING"! Correct me if I'm wrong but a respiratory incident sounds to me like a medical response is needed. Why are police officers being sent on these calls before EMS as was done today in 025 when a call(check well being)came in of people complaining of a resident at an apartment complex coughing too loud. Fire refused. Wtf are we suppose to do!

Tell that to the people of Europe. Most people infected will survive. About 20% of infected people will need intensive care. This is spreading much faster then the flu and is much more deadly. If young folks contact this and spread it around, the most vulnerable will perish. It is much more then the flu and is fatal, very fatal. If these police stations are not restricted to the general public, you will have many hundreds of cops in quarantine or in the hospital. The homeless should not be allowed to sleep in the stations.
Place a sign on the Station Door—You want a report? Call 311. All Station doors should be locked. No reason to keep them open!

Years ago in the lobby of Area 2 the desk crew wouldn’t play those games. They didn’t want a bunch of mopes lounging around in their work environment.
The desk would call human services, and they would send a van over to transport anyone over to a shelter.
Either you got on the van and went to the shelter, or you got the fuck out of the lobby.
But it was not a place you could just move into.
You got help, or you went on your way. Seems fair enough to me.

How can you close the lobbies that are home to so many homeless. You just have zero compassion for the drug and alcohol afflicted. They all made bad choices and it is up to you the shelter and protect them. In fact would be a nice gesture is you took one home with you after your shift. You all know in your heart of hearts it would be the right thing to do. In fact why not call the mayor and deliver a few to her. Heard she has lots of hand sanitizer and lord knows these people need a lot of that. Maybe even deliver one or two to each Aldermen home or office.

when I was in 006 before I retired, we did the same thing. When the van came you got on or you hit the streets. The trouble was the great employees of Human Services would not show up with the van until around 5 AM. The city needs to changes the layout of these lobbies, permanently to protect the officers. Maybe some of these merit leaders would like to work the desk in 002/011/006/007 for a few nights and see how they fell about it?

Sounds like a great plan which looks out for officers safety..... Riiiieeeeettttt???? That would be the case if all watches were following this policy put in place by the command staff in Town Hall... Days shift seems to be following it to a T and midnights seems on board but low and behold 3rd watch LTs “Laverne and Shirley” decided to still have roll calls even after the new policy was in place!!!! WTF is wrong with bosses?!? Do they think they can tell a commander NO and get away with it!?! If so, what does that say about the commander?!?? who the hell is running this Titanic of a station?!? Where are all the grievances and safety grievances and Osha violations ?!?! These are the same two 3rd watch bosses who have driven down moral by launching people off their cars mid period because they weren’t hitting their quotas !!!! Isn’t that against the law?!?! Why hasn’t the FOP filed a lawsuit yet?!? This is why we need new leadership that cares about officers safety 1 st and foremost. Good cops launched because of numbers ?!? Sounds like a hostile work environment to me !!! As soon as their are more openings across the city you will see a mass exodus of cops leaving this district because on top of all of the above we still have “El capetian” making sure you swiped in on time and swiped out within the given time frame and if you didn’t and you happen to work overtime that day you will NOT get paid !!!
