More Parolee Crime

  • Two parolees are in custody, charged with pulling off an armed carjacking in the West Loop over the weekend. One of them was released from prison on another armed carjacking charge last Wednesday. The other is on parole for his fourth stolen motor vehicle case.

    [...]

Incredibly, Brown was released from prison last week after serving half of a 13-year sentence that he received for a 2012 carjacking in south suburban Harvey, according to court records.

And Walton was released from prison on Aug. 22 after he served half of a six-year sentence for his fourth stolen motor vehicle conviction.

According to court records, Walton was arrested by Illinois State Police in May 2016 after a trooper caught him speeding down the Kennedy Expressway in a stolen orange taxi cab.

Walton previously received three concurrent eight-year sentences for possessing a stolen motor vehicle, possessing a handgun in a motor vehicle, and impersonating police in 2012. He also received three-year sentences for possessing stolen motor vehicles in 2008 and 2007.

A Chicago police spokesperson said federal charges may be sought against Brown and Walton.
And once again, the only place giving this any sort of coverage is the Crime in Boystown blog because if anyone else did, it would reflect badly on dems and their soft-on-crime standing.

"Concurrent sentencing" - how does that crap work exactly? Does the criminal have multiple split personalities and they each serve a simultaneous term?

Completely insane no matter how you cut it - concurrent sentencing ought to be banned. Make these criminals serve CONSECUTIVE sentences. No parole, no plea bargains, no "early release", no "time served", no "electronic monitoring", no "probation". Do the whole bid, then you get out if you're not dead. Don't like that? Don't commit crimes.

Fucking Democrats are a pox on society.

Everyone is now numb to it since it happens everyday. Hey tis is the government the citizens of Chicago want and voted for. Give them what they want, look, point, turn away and drive away. They want Fetal cops give them what they want. No activity every shift, no movers no parkers just enjoy the eight hour drive. Then go home and defend the castle. Much less stressful. Everyone wins, voters are happy criminals are happy, Dart is happy, jails are empty, Kim, is happy courts are empty, Community is happy your not arresting people of color. The Victims, well who cares as long as all the rest are happy.

These poor fellows are jut victims of the police entrapment
scheme. I mean what’s a fellow to do when he needs a ride.
Lord knows a fellow needs a gun in these dangerous
neighborhoods in the community. These fellows are just the
unfortunate products of their environment.
This is the Chicago justice and racist attitude that perpetuates
the crime wave that is destroying the city. Maybe several HALF
sentence’s created the crime wave that has plagued the city.
So somehow these actions have leveled the playing field and at
the same time served to violate Joe Citizen Taxpayers
Constitutional Rights to life, liberty and freedom which has and is
completely and ridiculously ignored over and over!

The lead article starts off with a comment:
"I've been a dick for 18 years"
How do you top that?
Answer: You Don't
You just try to find Charlie Beck.
Charles, you came to a town with a strong literary foundation.
You missed that in your hasty research. You thought Chicago
was full of stockyards and rubes. The joke is on you, pal.
Just try to get a job after this. You have a better chance of
working as a groom at dressage events.

Look , without "concurrent sentencing" , the jails and prisons would fill up so fast , they would simply have to let every offender of more recent crimes go free because there would be no room. That or we would have to build 10 times the jail cells we have now, which would cost 20 times as much for hiring new guards and all the admin expenses. And the end result would be so "waycist" because you would have 25%+ of the "community" locked up all of the time, they would never allow it now.

Simply the taxpayers cannot afford(don't have enough money even at 100% tax rate) to keep criminals locked up all on consecutive sentencing. People don't realize how much the community" costs society, and it is only the tip of the that iceberg.

You think CPD is bad with Incompetence you should look into ID OC bosses Namely dion Dixon,Thomas Hilliard and the new superstar of laziness Nicky Robinson they have a thing called diversions that when a crook violates parole he has to talk to one of these greats to get a warrant issued most of the time don’t happen just go to 001 any morning that where all the so called parole violators get held and wait for the idoc bus back to statesville ut, most of the time it’s empty.

I'll let concurrent sentences continue with a slight modification. They should be served different cells. [2 concurrent, cut the POS in half. Three or more? Use a wood chipper!]

Well, thank goodness the General Assembly is reigning in the mean ol' police from profiling the homeless by repealing a century-old statute:

"Rep. Terra Costa Howard, a Glen Ellyn Democrat who is sponsoring the House bill, called the alcohol ban an “archaic law” that has not been enforced for many years. When it has been enforced, she said, police officers have used it as justification to penalize homeless individuals sleeping in train stations."

Or, we could do this... Rate each of the incarcerated. Give points for the severity of the crime - each of them. Add points for bad behavior in jail. When we are at max capacity, and any new guy is delivered to serve time, take the worst, and execute him.
The problem is solved for you, snowflake.
