- FYI witnesses at the scene report that at least 6 huge luxury motorcoaches arrived, a Chicago limo company. As the buses were letting people out witnesses recognized Miracle Boyd and others from the Chicago protests/riots. This was reported on social media.
Then the owner of this limo company claimed he was not transporting protesters but transporting "troops like we do every day" however the Wisconsin National Guard responded that they use their own transportation. The Guard does not hire limos or buses from Chicago.
Then the limo company owner said oops! Meant to say he transported military personnel from Great Lakes. But wouldn't you know it? A call to Great Lakes naval training center revealed that they had never heard of this Chicago limo company. So who was he transporting to Kenosha and who paid for those 6 motorcoaches? And why was he lying about it?

OT. So I work 1st watch and were going to 12 hr days and RDO's cancelled, no big deal. However I'm supposed to go for "training" at the academy today (27 Aug 20) starting at 1600 hrs. 1st watch always doubles back when you have training, meaning I didn't have to go in last night but I have to go to training from 1600 to 0000 then to my district and work from 0000 to 0700. So I call the district to see if they have any information relating to training being cancelled, no info. I call the academy numerous times this morning and no one is answering the phone. KENOSHA, Wisconsin (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police in volatile Kenosha have arrested several people they say may have been planning for a new round of violence Wednesday night.
Authorities say they received a tip about suspicious vehicles with out-of-state license plates in a remote parking lot at Highway 50 and Green Bay Road.
Police officers and U.S. marshals followed them to a gas station near Washington Road and 30th Avenue. Police say people in a black bus and bread truck got out and tried to fill several fuel cans.
Investigators and marshals moved in and arrested people from the bus and truck, inside of which, police say, they found helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks and suspected controlled substances.
Police say a third vehicle with the caravan tried to flee but was stopped.
Nine people are charged with disorderly conduct and could face additional charges.
Officials have blamed out-of-town activists for some of the violence and looting that erupted following the Sunday police shooting of a black man during a domestic call. On Tuesday, an Antioch teen with a semiautomatic rifle allegedly shot three people, killing two of them.
By comparison, Wednesday was reportedly peaceful in Kenosha, where authorities imposed a 7 p.m. curfew. The Wisconsin National Guard is expected to be joined by counterparts from three other states.

There were people (almost all older whites) who came up to me smiling/grinning and asking me if I were there for the protests too. I didn't know what they were talking about, but the front desk person told me. Walking in the parking lot were a lot of illinois license plates.
