Welcome to the first 2021 installment of “Not Horrible,” our ongoing series of reports about people who have been charged with committing serious and violent crimes while on bail for other serious and violent crimes.
We borrowed the name “Not Horrible” from a statement Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evans made during budget hearings on November 4, 2019: “It’s not by magic that we haven’t had any horrible incidents occur using this new [affordable bail] system.” Evans’ claim was false at the time and has been repeatedly shown to be false since — unless his definition of “horrible” is different from most Chicagoans’.
So far, CWB reporters have identified 32 people who were charged with committing murder, attempted murder, or aggravated battery with a firearm while free on bail for serious felonies in 2020. Four of the accused men are charged with shooting, and sometimes killing, more than one person.

the democrats were 100% behind eugenics for 100 years. while sterilizing or killing " undesireables " has fallen out of fashion ( see blm ) , nothing says you cant encourage said wastes of skin to cull their own herds. every large blue city has pulled the occupation forces out of the under represented areas, all at the same time. still think they are incompetant and dont know what they are doing ? best part is the rulers of the universe ( see soros et al ) are using black politicians to kill off the black population while railing about white racism. pretty diabolical plan if you think about it. sounds like those centurys old stories of shadow rulers ( bankers ) might have some truth to them. well enough deep thought for one night, back to beverly hillbillys reruns lol.
Not horrible compared to a War Zone...otherwise for a democratic society its a joke...just like the States Attorney, just like the Chief Judge and his puppet judges, just like the Sheriff with his catch and release and repeat, just like the Mayor and the stupidity she has achieved in record breaking time, just like the Governor pulling toilets and closing business all as an act to save the city, county, and state. It is amazing that theses people have jobs with the level of incompetency they have provided.

The people who are in positions of authority and who are tasked with prosecuting and jailing criminals want to let everyone out of jail. The white flag has been thrown. Get the hell out of here as soon as you can and let these idiots reap the seeds that they sow.
Didn't Crimesha reset the threshold on most criminal acts before prosecution?
I think one has to murder 4 people with one being a child before she will prosecute. All in the name of equity

I think too much has been made of Evans' phrase, "Not horrible." It was just an instant utterance by an inarticulate man, more revealing of incompetence than anything else. Don't read too much into it - I'm sure Evans doesn't, or can't.

Did you know...Tim Evans was once 4th Ward AlderSlug and was defeated by Toenail Prickwrinkle in 1991.
Teabag Evans was all aboard the Justice Restoration movement effort well before Nov. 2019 and has been flip flopping or ignoring the controversy ever since CookCo welcomed the movement with KmmFxxxUp 2016. Prior to 2016 Teabags had no problem with bond, sentencing or convictions. Prickwrinkle really did a number on him and the judges that reappointed him as leader of their outfit.
