Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is officially a college lecturer — at least for a semester — as her graduate-level class on “health policy and leadership” at Harvard University got underway last week.
In an interview with WBEZ, Lightfoot said she’ll use a mock press conference, a simulated community meeting and guest speakers to teach in part about the dangers of politicizing a pandemic and how to interact with the media, drawing on the lessons learned from running a city amid COVID-19.
“I heard that from the students yesterday — they want to learn from somebody who’s kind of been on the front lines, and in the trenches,” Lightfoot said after her first class. “But also how you bring people together in a moment of crisis, how you get things done, how you build lasting foundations to build on to address other issues that come up.”
She brought no one together, she got little done and her "foundation" resulted in her being a one-term failure. She alienated the Prickwrinkle machine and teachers' union which doomed her to third place. Her hot-mic moments provided insight into a shallow, thin-skinned, identity-obsessed, politically ignorant moron. Her domestic disturbances and bodyguard drama provided countless hours of water cooler laughs.
And she claimed the biggest dick in Chicago, an unusual confluence of verbiage and reality, seeing as how she pretty much WAS the biggest dick in town for years.
Parents might want a refund on their tuition expenditures.

It is amazing that Harvard is going to allow her to spread her bunkum to these students, but wait maybe the editors of the Harvard Lampoon (the world’s oldest published humor magazine) are in on this and write up this class as a comedic prank pulled on the citizens of Chicago.

This is OT but I just found out you're back up. A very warm welcome, Thank You. My point, I was going to post this before. 01/2020 I returned to ORD with what I thought was a severe sinus infection; I missed my ride at 02:00, and had to wait until 05:00 to leave the airport. In fact, I had a viral infection and cerebral edema. While waiting in the Bus and Shuttle Center I started nodding out; a CPD officer walked up and had a brusque conversation of the 'Hey buddy, what are you doing here?' variety. It made me focus and stay 'awake' and got me up and around. I didn't think much of it that night but he likely saved my life: I wasn't falling asleep, I was slipping out of consciousness.
He was maybe 40-ish, dark mustache, stocky but not fat. Medium height, maybe; I've been through ORD several times since but haven't seen him. Anyway, Thank You.

Harvard is only as good as the quality of their educators. If Lightfoot is their standard for hiring educators, then Harvard as an educational institution is failing its students just as Lightfoot has failed Chicago.

Slightly OT, but not really…. Groot welcomed all of these illegals without even consulting with anyone on where the funds to house, cloth and feed these people would come from. Now, the illegals are housed in police stations where they have been spreading diseases and running amuck. Well today hit a new low with these migrants. One of these “asylum seekers” or illegals as they really are began to have a temper tantrum in 012 because he couldn’t get his way. The police told him to knock it off and he squared up with a copper. The female copper walked away and some other coppers moved in to make the arrest. The illegals interfered with this arrest by trying to pull the illegal away from the arresting PO’s and also grabbed the PO’s arms in attempt to defeat this arrest. There’s more to this story on exactly what the illegals did, but my point is Groot has welcomed these illegals with open arms and now she’s gone and everyone in Chicago has to deal with this bull shit.
