Volunteers assisting with the effort to care for asylum-seekers who have arrived in Chicago said Saturday rates of arrival are higher than ever before.
Annie Gomberg, a lead volunteer organizer at the Austin District station on the West Side, said she received an email from a top immigrant staffer with Mayor Brandon Johnson’s administration informing volunteers to expect five buses of migrants to arrive Saturday, which would be the largest number of buses carrying asylum-seekers the city has ever received in one day.
The volunteers late Saturday were still trying to determine how many buses actually arrived, but the email from Rey Wences-Najera, first deputy mayor of immigrant, migrant and refugee rights, underscored the concern many share as they scramble on a daily basis to provide basic care for new arrivals.
- More migrant buses from Texas are en route to New York, despite Governor Hochul’s demand that any illegal aliens thinking of coming to New York City go someplace else. It couldn’t happen to a better smug “all are welcome here” Democrat.
Was it last summer when a busload or two of illegals ended up at Martha's Vineyard? They barely even got to sniff the sea air before the rich democrats shipped them off site. Texas needs to make this more painful for the so-called "elites" in their gated and exclusive communities.

Other than applying local vagrancy laws, what valid reason do any of these governments, no matter how small, have to compel these 'migrants' out of their areas?
Sure, federal immigration laws are being violated by their mere presence upon US soil, yet, the process required for this to be the valid reason is not being applied, by the feds.
So, are these local governments bribing them to leave? Or intimidating them to leave? Or, gasp, begging them to leave?
For areas of great wealth, there is no graft opportunity temptations.
For areas of great taxpayers' being grifted, bigtime, the opposite is true.
The politicals hereabouts are not concerned with being voted out of positions of government authority. They may be, however, concerned a bit about being mobbed by the very generational useful idiots they are currently 'disrespecting'.

Two interesting things about all this. First, take a look at the $90,000,000.00 Chicago has already spent on illegals. The pay for some of the people the city has hired to take care of the illegals works out to hundreds of thousands per year. No wonder the city was dragging their feet on releasing this data. Second, it seems like Denver's mayor, a Democrat, has offered illegals bus tickets to wherever they wanted to go as long as it was well away from Denver. Apparently about 6700 of them took a bus to Chicago in the last year.
We can thank Tina Skahill for offering Police Stations as a shelter option.
I highly recommend sending another "Fleet of Interstate busses" full of immigrants be sent to every "Sanctuary city" on the US map.
I think the leaders of this failed "Urban Ideology" are finally beginning to get the message.
It's not really good for the US, but the media is finally calling it an "invasion". Any city that is considering raising taxes to cover the costs should receive twice as many busses.

There are over 11 million undocumented folks in the country and Chicago has its fair share. The majority know what’s up and go get themselves their fake mica and seguro in little village. They work. Easily over 95% don’t qualify for asylum, and they think they’re going to obtain permanent legal status why?

I was channel surfing the Sunday morning news shows and I saw an interview with Jason Owens, the recently appointed Chief Of The United States Border Patrol. He said he is convinced that the chaos at the border is just a deliberate distraction to keep law enforcement there occupied while drugs, money, arms and criminals make their way to the United States. In other words, an actual strategy. Of course this won’t come as a surprise to anyone who reads this blog. I can find no mention of this anywhere else in the press. The wheel of 15 million illegals? Maybe the wheel of fentynal killing 100,000 Americans a year. No, you must mean the wheel of inflation or the $30 trillion dollars in debt.
