A few days ago, big controversy at the City Council meeting:
- Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson backed calls for a cease-fire in the war in Gaza Wednesday ahead of a hotly contested vote on a City Council cease-fire resolution set for next week.
A few wise-acres noted that Conehead isn't calling for a cease fire in Chicago for some reason.
Two teenagers leaving their Loop high school were fatally wounded in a midday shooting Friday that startled onlookers under a busy “L” station in the center of the city.
Around 12:25 p.m., the teens — 16- and 17-year-old boys — were leaving Innovations High School with about four other people, Chicago Police Department Deputy Chief Jon Hein said Friday. As the group was in the first block of North Wabash Avenue, two vehicles pulled up and several people exited before opening fire.
Each boy was shot in the chest, and the older boy was also shot in the hip. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the 17-year-old as Monterio Williams and the 16-year-old as Robert Boston. Both lived on the Near West Side.
Looks like a straight up ambush, and almost without a doubt, has its origins in a neighborhood conflict among the un-demonized caponies.
But hey, cease fire halfway around the world. And latin king bitches who are shooting at cars in the dead of night are "victims."

Anyone shot is a tragedy. But it keeps on happening here and not in other places. Why? Residents and businesses are leaving. So BLM Brandon wants to get to the root of what’s causing crime. So that’s the job of sociologists, psychologists and criminologists of which he is not. We all know what causes crime. The Mayor and the Council were not elected to ponder the subject. One of their basic functions is to provide protection to their constituents by executing the laws and ordinances. There is an obvious lack of direction in this area as one can see in the increase of horrific crimes being committed and the number of citizens and businesses fleeing. The Mayor and Council needs to enforce a zero tolerance policy for crime before the entire tax base evaporates.
In 1994 Mayor Rudy Giuliani took over the crime ridden cesspool of NYC. During his time in office he transformed the city by reducing. Unfortunately with some of his progressive successors the city is a cesspool again.
So this Mayor and Council need to stop creating meaningless virtue signaling resolutions about other countries that have no bearing on Chicago and need to get to work on stopping the carnage.

I wish regular people in this city understood that this was no accident, and likely happened for a very specific reason.

It’s pretty obvious these two were targeted. That is highly suggestive that these honor roll students (at some sort of unconventional HS) were participants in something nefarious. If history holds to be consistent, their participation in some form of criminal marketplace with lethal competition will be swept under the politically correct carpet and we’ll be asked to mourn them as martyrs fallen victim to the city’s arbitrary violence.
It seems that most the city’s homicides could be avoided if criminals were prosecuted and put in prison. The heaping pile of dead bodies would be significantly lighter as the criminals would actually be safer in the more controlled environment that prison provides.
We all know prison is not the reformitory the bleeding heart libs prefer, however, the animals would be safer in their cages.

We owe a nod of gratitude to the shooters for what appears to be mostly effective kill shots. Two DOAs saves tens of thousands of dollars vs a couple of critically wounded. While not perfection, it looked like they both expired before anyone showed up to write the report. Remember boys, practice makes perfect.
On the upside, the city council of Tel Aviv is sponsoring a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Chicago.

2) Closing selective enrollment HS programs, robbing high-achieving Chicago students of possibility of quality college-prep HS education, while keeping open CPS' under-enrolled and abysmally low-achievement HS, done to sole service of CTU officials, not Chicago children, not Chicago taxpayers.
3) Banning gas stoves and gas furnaces for future construction, to sole benefit of progressives who don't understand that "electric" still requires combustion engines to create "electricity", and that electrical power is utility service most vulnerable to adverse weather. ComEd has serious mojo, but banning gas utilities is plain stupid.
3) Resolution to demand cease-fire in Gaza, ignoring Chicago's own desparate need for "ceasefire". Moslem community groups have been aggressively "protesting" for months now, disrupting highways and streets and parks and sidewalks with their openly anti-semitic genocidal rants without fear of arrest. More empowerment of bad behavior. More encouragement of blatant incivility and overt racism towards "white people".
4) Manifest disdain towards law-abiding Chicago taxpayers in general, particularly if white, and/or of white-collar household demographic. Administration intent upon governing at "lowest common denominator" gangbanger decorum.
5) Willful destruction of downtown Chicago real estate tax-base and zero interest in containing downtown street-crime. As downtown commercial building tax assessments decline in proportion to significantly-lower real estate values, tax burden will inevitably shift to Chicago's residential buildings, mostly to north-side high-worth residential buildings. Watch our residential taxes sky-rocket, due to increased government agency budgets, due to realignment of tax-burden distribution to residential buildings.
And while all this is going on during past year: "while Rome burns, Nero fiddled". Chicago is quickly descending into financial disaster, crime-ridden chaos, and immigrant catastrophe, Mayor Johnson's administration has proven to be a disaster, a "clown car" of incompetency, buffoonery, and pompous grandiosity.

It was pretty apparent he was in over his head at the debates.
He had no clear answers to any questions, no definitive plan for anything, no idea how to fund or execute, and mindlessly repeated that he was a teacher, that he was black, that he “lives in Austin”, and his “safer, stronger Chicago”. All dog-whistles to his voting base.

You can quote me on that statement the law Dept has been searching for the right wording to make sure that the city knows they can count on their elected officials!!! They didn’t want to sound too mean so they went with not nice instead of harsher words. When asked the law Dept. stated they use the real harsh words for their police dept. CTU is going to announce they stand W/ the council in this matter. It’s nice they have time for these pressing matters since the shitty is running like a well oiled machine!!!!!
