Feds Pick Up After Crimesha
One way to tell if someone in government is completely incompetent and useless at their job is if another branch of government has to come in and do it for you:
- Nearly three years ago, Chicago police detectives asked the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office
to charge a high-ranking gang member with the murder of Chrys Carvajal,
a 19-year-old National Guardsman who was visiting his family for a
Fourth of July barbecue on the Northwest Side.
The prosecutors refused to sign off on the charges, citing insufficient evidence. They sent the cops marching with instructions to get more proof. Their office never charged anyone with Carvajal’s death.
Federal prosecutors are now doing what their state counterparts would not. On Friday, the Chicago U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that they have charged two (m)ilwaukee (k)ings gang members with racketeering and murder in connection with Carvajal’s death. One of the men charged is the same man Chicago police tried to charge with murder in 2021, according to a source.
And the rumor persists that Crimesha - after her tenure as the "Criminals and Rapists Bestest Friend When She Isn't Allegedly Beating her Husband" - is in line for a judge's slot upon leaving office.

Hell she would have likely won again had she chosen to run.
She has the proper “qualification”, the only one that seems to matter these days. And how well does that seem to be working out for us?
Well yeah! After being States Attorney, isn't a judgeship automatic in this county? Duh! It will hold her over until some big firm offers her an equity partnership. No bake sales needed for her!
She won't be a judge if Republicans get the senate.

If she becomes a judge she can continue on her crusade to make crimes committed by people of color not crimes. Disgusting that she was allowed to be SA.
Former ASA here - Foxx would never accept a judgeship. She would have to come to work everyday and on time, and could never engage in her favorite activity, going on radio or TV and complaining about law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

I think Biden should appoint her as the ambassador to Hatti. She would feel right at home with the lawless mobs and war lords running the country.
There is so much more to the story. The dicks worked their ass of this case and literally begged for it to be charged. The head of felony review would not budge. Then CPDs dis function was exposed , the dicks tried for an override but the bosses at 35th st could not be reached. Of course when this came out the bosses blamed the dicks for not getting a hold of them. Complete failure by the system which is not unusual when dealing with felony review.

Who will appoint the idiot, crimesha? I do believe incompetence is rampant in County and City government. It all needs to be exposed sooner than later.

Chicago is the city of Fools. The Department is administered by fools, clouted merit hacks and other assortment of inept bosses. Those bosses worth their position and rank are too few, too little in opposition voicing their concerns, pointing out the squandering of police resources and identifying their department foolishness. This summer will be one for the history books in terms of chaos, civil disruption, financial costs and national public embarrassment. Brandon will be left holding the "bag of wet defecation". Only two Exempts on this job have presented cases to felony Review in the past. The rest doesn’t know what an override is.
