Cheap Ass Mofo
Another SAFE-T Act success story!
A suburban man accused of robbing a restaurant owner at gunpoint tried to saw off his ankle monitor by walking into Home Depot and using a pair of — appropriately — bolt cutters from the shelves, prosecutors say, but he walked right into the arms of Cook County Sheriff’s Police in the parking lot, according to prosecutors.
Tyrone Arnold, 28, is charged with escape from electronic monitoring and criminal damage to government property for almost severing the county’s GPS tracker from his ankle. Almost.
Cheap ass couldn't even buy the bolt cutters?
We guess we should be thankful he didn't steal them....even though he'd be released on that charge before the case reports were approved.

He's already been released.
Nothing to see here.
Perhaps he'll receive a Certificate of Innocence from Kim Foxx
I'm just impressed that the Sheriff Dept responded to the alert.
I would love lent him mine.
I can't believe I said love instead of lent.
I wish he would have used an arc welder instead. That would have taken off the EHM bracelet and his whole foot.
Can’t believe you said love instead of have
Using bolt cutters is a simple task that is easily learned on the street, now the use of a welder one would need to go to one of those vocabulary schools.
Why buy anything? Home Depot and Walmart have become Stop and Shoplift for the immoral and unholy. These people dont even have a sense of right and wrong anymore.
And he'll be home in a day or 2
I am surprised he did not steal them and afterwards return them for a refund
Home Depot: 'You can do it! We can help...'
this fuck took it seriously...
Like a 5 watt light bulb not too fucking bright
The wanted offender was as surprised as anyone when he found out that people were actualy monitoring him down at the county.
Sawzall next time.
They were probably shopping at Home Depot while on the clock.
