Bad Timing
Yesterday, the FOP Newsletter arrived. This was in the opening paragraph of the President's Report:
- Congratulations go out to the Detectives in A/4 whose extreme efforts to arrest the killers have recently paid off.
Two teenage girls have been charged with beating a female witness in the murder case of a Chicago Police officer and a social worker, authorities said Thursday.
Tashianda Howland, 18, and a 16-year-old relative attacked a witness to events following the Aug. 13 shootings of Officer Robert Soto, 49, and Kathryn Romberg, 45, authorities said.
We've a feeling that this isn't going to be the only instance of witness manipulation and intimidation that's going to appear.

J-rock is the that murderer Jason Austin. And don't blame the dics or the state. Amazing work was done on all levels to catch this guy and charge him. Who do you blame? You blame this ghetto mentality of stop snitching. Until a really young black child gets murdered, (and this may offend some), the ghetto community doesn't care. In this case, a cop and a white lady were murdered and they're proud that they're making an example that they can do what they want to let the murdering bastard go free by ways of intimidation.God forbid that the murderer of a young black child gets let free, I guarantee there would be street retribution, but in this case, J-Rock is going to be a ghetto celebrity. And to be honest, there should be a federal investigation into Attorney Weiner and his investigators role into this intimidation.

This goes out to "anonymous 8:25 AM" and those similarly situated, the dicks did their job you fucking turncoats. You're all just like the fucktards that blog on the newspaper websites. To get an asshole charged with murder in Cook County, you have to have more than enough evidence plus additional evidence on top of that! In other words, they won't charge unless they have a strong case. They got the right jagoff in this one. It's not the dicks' fault that the west side witnesses are afraid of being eaten by the other savages. Study real hard you little bitches and maybe you can make detective and learn how they system really works.

The weird thing is that you have witnesses (ie, west siders who were willing to talk).
They're subject to pressure that none of you writing are subject to, because you don't have to live as a young kid in a neighborhood you can't get out of, with violent people trying to punish you. And not surprisingly, the witnesses cave in.
And you go and tar the whole west side over the work of some gang-bang scum.
The problem here is that people are terrorized. Law abiding people are scared shitless to testify. And cops go and throw these good people under the bus.

The new commander of A/4 is Hector Rodriguez. Guys in Area 1 said that he came to Area 1 and was interfering with an investigation by the conservation police regarding a reckless homicide investigation. He was there on behalf of LAPA supporting the piece of S--- offender.
Hector's clout is directly from the mayor. Not many people in area 1 stood up to Hector but a couple of guys did the right thing from what they said.
