Another Quiet Saturday
- A 19-year-old Maywood man was shot to death in the West Side's Douglas Park neighborhood early Saturday.
- Jesus Sanchez 18, is dead, fatally shot in what police believe may have been a gang-related murder.
Two dead out of the eight.
And that count stopped at 1800 hours Saturday afternoon. Who knows what the rest of the night will bring.

- Police responding to calls of shots fired in the River North area outside the House of Blues and also to disperse a large crowd that had just gotten out from a concert found a man shot near the venue early Saturday.

I had to deal with a large crowd outside some mope's party the other night on the West Side.

As Mayor Daley said on CNN last night... These aren't Gang Bangers, "they're Students". This said after being asked why call them students when they're no longer attending school. Did anyone else watch this segment on CNN? Then they talk about the one kid who was not a drop out, but had to "leave" school because the gangs were after him. What they failed to mention was this 15 year old kid was a full blown - to the bone Gang Member. They showed his little cute picture, and that was that. What they didn't show was the picture that SCC posted which showed the kids in full gang banger colors, and throwing up gang signs or those gang banger pics holding the guns. Students they are not.

Hip-hop concert at the house of blues. What a shock someone got shot. What is with the mindset of these people they act like savages. Animals have more civility and compassion then they do. Watched the news this morning and they lead with the police tasering somebody, no name , no reason not even an exact location the offender is in stable condition though. 11 people shot over the weekend and not even one of them was mentioned on the sunday morning news. What a crock of shit! The news media sucks in this city. To many liberal professors teaching these young fools who want to become reporters. They use some mutt that is standing on the corner for their source and that is their story, time to go back to starbucks and look important playing on your laptop. Job is done and they feel better about themselves because they helped the less fortunate. I tell all the mutts on the west side to go to the burbs, and all the yuppie hangouts and do their thing. Let them get a taste of reality.
