Someone please tell me why more and more parking pay spaces are being created in spots they never were. What is the City attempting to do? They don't own the rights to the money anymore, just tickets.

It amazes me how "we the people" is selectively invoked. I hate Daley and all that he represents.
But shouldn't we, the people own the banks so our government would not have to borrow money to finance it's operations, and then over tax us when those same operations fail?
I've seen the stickers in my Districts' parking lot. And yes, it's really hard to read it unless you're 5 feet away behind the vehicle.
How about an incentive for autos bearing that sticker? No tickets should do the trick!

BINGO! You answered your own question. Would you rather have the dollar, $2 or $3/hr or whatever for the meter, or $50 for an expired one?
They can pay a guy to ride up Austin on a bike (North of Diversey of course) and can pay them to walk TWO DEEP(!) at Austin/Irving to write the tickets.
I have seen that bumper sticker all over police locker rooms in Chicago. I think it is to weak, I say tar and feather the bastard.

Tell that to the Chrysler bondholders who got screwed when the govt. took over. And what about the banks? The ones who were forced to give loans to deadbeats and illegals by the govt, Barney Frank, Jimmah Carter, and the lefty democratic party. There is not going to be any investing until the government gets its nose out of business. Socialism is great until you run out of other peoples money. Then here comes communism. They are trying to break the bank on purpose to hasten its arrival.

He's right. The Fed is a semi govt bank with it's own board. The Dept. of Treasury sends T Bills to the Fed to borrow and use Federal Reserve notes. That's why we have a national debt. Who's the moron now?

Who's the moron now? The Federal Reserve bank is a private entity in business for profit. Get educated in TRUTH before calling someone a moron.
