Democractics get judges order to keep polls in Chicago open an hour long. Cook county doesn't send out military ballots on time and anyone who is serving or served knows that is a heavy republican vote. They fuck up the City, pension, this department, schools, etc. Yet still get votes. When the state is bankrupt maybe people will learn. If that happens you won't see a pension check it doesn't matter if it's the law. No money means, no one get a check. Basic economics.

Then they hold off our property tax bill until AFTER this election. These bills will contain HUGE increases. After all, the Crime Family and the welfare class MUST be taken care of before the working class schmuck.
Obama finally got the word out to HIS constituents when he called into black radio stations around the country yesterday and essentially told them that if they didn't get off their ass and vote, they'd lose their FREE SHIT. I mean, the welfare class folks aren't gonna feel a property tax increase, right? And now I hear Quinn plans to start taxing the pensions of retired PO's and others!

Look for an increase in the state income tax in the Fall Veto Session. Illinois government is not sustainable at its current funding level. Their are 38 states that have state income taxes. Illinois ranks dead last in the percentage of state taxes withheld of the 38. As public-sector employees it is essential a state income tax increase is supported. It is time to put public policy above politics.
The Democrats prevailed in our state because of massive voter fraud. There is no question about it. Quinn has the voter appeal of a turnip, there is no way in the world he won that election fair.

My read of Brady's response is that he'd do whatever he could to lessen or get rid of it. Quinn isn't bullshitting you - Illinois has underfunded the budget by refusing to raise the taxes to a reasonable rate for decades. Now we have to play catch up or sell out future generations.

It's not this whole state, unfortunately almost 800,000 of quinn's votes came from the chicago/cook county area. That's almost half of this knuckleheads votes. Brady took the majority of the state but because of the population of "takers" in this county quinn is leading. Why would those who do nothing but sit on their asses all day and demand the working people of this state give them more even think about voting for the guy that just might tell them "NO". Oh well, looks like I'm going to lose my pension so we can keep those link cards topped off.

A tax increase without significant cuts in wasteful spending (the Quinn plan) would be sheer lunacy. Businesses will flee the state left and right. Illinois is a low-tax state ONLY if you look no farther than the income tax. Most states with a high sales tax don't even have an income tax. Higher taxes with continued government waste and cronyism will turn Illinois into Detroit.

Here's another big laugh, his predecessor, interim County Board President Bobbie Steele, who served out the remainder of the John Stroger term, from August 1, 2006 until December 4, 2006, (4 months, 3 days) gets the SAME PENSION! She got a $67,500 bump in her pension for those 4 months and 3 days.
I recall her interview on WGN radio and Spike O'Dell questioned her taking the huge pension bump after only 4 months and 3 days on the job. She talked all over Spike yelling how she earned that pension man, she earned it, as only a blood sucking vulture Cook County politician can do.
O'Dell listened to that shit for a short while and that was the end of the interview. So Bobbe Steele gets the gravy train for less than 5 months as County Board President. I'm surprised the Todster doesn't resign and have his cousin appointed president for a month or two to get the same great deal.
Bobbie Steele also introduced an ordinance renaming Cook County Hospital after then board president John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital. John Stroger being the giant humanitarian in public health that he was.
Todd Stroger is going to have the basement shithouse in the County Building named after him.

I was at the Chicago public library (west pullman) and saw a ton of "election propaganda" from the SEIU Illinois PAC, in the lobby. It was so one-sided. Seven states have no state income tax: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming.
New Hampshire and Tennessee tax only dividend and interest income.
If Quinn decides to tax our pensions that would cement the deal for me, I will leave Illinois as soon as I retire and never look back.

One idiot girl working at the table, or rather messing things up at the sign-in table, proudly announces at the top of her lungs that "This is my sister everyone!!" when her sister walked in to chit chat, thus leaving her even more clueless about what she is doing. WHAT A JOKE! The people working the polling places could care less about how well they do their job! All I could hear when I was voting was about how there numbers didn't match, basically that they were missing some ballots! What a joke!

Brady isn't a prize, he would have pushed to reform pensions. Quinn is a buffoon that will bankrupt the system to continue to give everything to the welfare class and illegal immigrants and there will be no money left for a pension. I'd rather lose 2 percent or 2 years than all of it.
