"TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES"

I thought so!

I've sent some posts 2-3 times and thought there was a tech problem on my end because they never made it and got an odd response when I went to or from "preview".

Here is one of them, if was to fo under: "No Gun for Robbers - or Commander"

Maybe the gun was in the Gucci handbag or the Louis Vitton purse she picked up on Maxwell Street some years ago.

OR...

Is that a gun in you pocket or is there something your not telling us Commander?

The recent blizzard showed me how the people in charge really don't care about the working folk. The snow plows didn't exactly get to the curb in clearing out the snow. More like about two feet from the curb. And I pay high property taxes for this slipshod workmanship. The alleys are not plowed, only had tracks made in them by the garbage trucks. The alleys USED to be plowed after everything, ie..the main streets, side streets, but no more. The people in charge are NOW saying WE DON"T PLOW THE ALLEYS. Snow days were given out to the CPS and when helping shoveling my neighbors walk she informed me that the teachers did not get paid for those days off. The snow happened Tuesday into Wednesday and here it is Sunday. This very morning an older neighbor was shoveling the street in front of his house to make room for the couple cars that would contain some family members for his little SuperBowl party. He is a proud man and as I pitched in to help he thanked me and told me he was 60 years old. We got done in an hour and a half. A snowplow just takes a minute to do the job. So here you have it. Two Chicago residents that pay high taxes and on a Sunday, once again had to shovel their OWN snow. And the people in charge are seen as not responsible for this slipshod snowjob they laid on the public. In the old days, heads would have rolled over this event in a heartbeat. Yes, I voted for Jane Byrne over Bilandic because of the snow and proud of it. I just feel bad for that 60 year old man who really is in not that good of health trying to dig out for his family to have a nice little party they could attend. Thanks a lot. NOT.

The story about the White House fence repair is truly funny! Allow me to expand on it.
$2700 is the no bid price. But with cost over runs, a precisely timed strike, padded payroll, permits & the greasing of certain palms, the new price is $2.7 mill. But due to shoddy materials & construction, it will have to be torn down & a new connected company will get the contract.
Now that's the Chicago way! Plus the other guy gets fucked out of his end. Pleasure doing business with you.

FYI - Newly signed Chicago Bear

The Bears signed the CFL's top receiver to a 2 yr contract yesterday. He is 6' 4" Andy Fantuz and should be a welcome target for Jay Cutler next season. Hope he works out.

The new cop show "The Chicago Code" premiers in a few days.

The last thing this city needs is for the networks to glorify and idolize the so-called Irish mob and clouted politicians.

I'm not watching it. Not supporting it.

Ya gotta love stupid people!!

Don't "quite" your day job.
You sound even smarter than the poster. The word you are looking for is QUIT. By doing that, you just negated your entire post.
