We Need More Dynamite

  • Two teenage girls were hospitalized this evening after being wounded in separate shootings on the South Side, officials said.

The first shooting occurred at about 5:07 p.m. on the 600 block of East 42nd Street in the Bronzeville neighborhood, said Chicago Police News Affairs [...]. The location of the shooting is near Sumac Park, 4201 S. Champlain Ave.

  • In the second shooting, a 14-year-old girl was shot at about 5:30 p.m. near the area of 116th and State Streets in the Pullman neighborhood...

The girl was shot in the buttocks while she was standing on the sidewalk.
Just curious, but which gang is at the top of the "blow up" list now? Because we're going to need that list up and running on the PDT's as soon as possible.

It still isn't even hot and its been raining. Just wait until summer really does come. A legitimate gang war starting on the West side and the usual BS on the South. Eyes will be opened this summer. Enjoy your one term Rahm, you to Mc-Sup.

We'll also need working PDTs for that alleged list to be effective.

I'm going to side with McFib and Ballerino on this one and blame the victims. They should have known better than to be outside at all, let alone playing and having their guard down in an area the crystal ball unit most likely predicted that something would happen in.

They're just lucky we have so many cameras to stop crime in this city or things could have ended worse than they did.

What Rahm has to do is stop classifying these injuries and fatalities as shootings.

He needs a new descriptor for the injury, perhaps small diameter accidental perforation, spontaneous human circular hole, self-mutilation, piercing gone wild, clan initiation procedure, rites of spring, urban self-stigmata etc.

LOL... was thinking the exact same thing. Out of the last 8 days worked I've had a working PDT 3 times. I keep having to go into the station to do my reports. The radios are absolute shit lately and the cars, most of them are a fucking disgrace.

OT - Chicago Tops U.S. For Arrestees On Drugs

About 83 percent of men arrested in Chicago last year tested positive for illegal drugs, according to a federal study that put Chicago at the top of 10 major U.S. cities.

Legalize the drugs. Let them kill themselves with overdoses. Drug test for welfare checks and CHA housing. I don't see why there should be a problem to have people test negative for drug use in order to collect free government money that is provided at everyone else's expense. A positive test is simply an indication that any government funds that are distributed to that recipient likely won't be used for it's intended purpose.

I believe that our support servicess should be out of house. Maybe things will get dune faster and cost less to fix. Take cars back to dealers or private garages. Take radios back to Motorolla. And pdt's to a capable electronics repair firm.

1. 'Legalize the drugs. Let them kill themselves with overdoses.'

then they'd have to risk committing massive vote fraud, ie., the dead do vote. better to have an army of living addicts stumbling to the voting booths.

2. 'Drug test for welfare checks and CHA housing. I don't see why there should be a problem to have people test negative for drug use in order to collect free government money that is provided at everyone else's expense.'

big problem if you want them to continue being bought and paid for voters.

3. 'A positive test is simply an indication that any government funds that are distributed to that recipient likely won't be used for it's intended purpose.'

it is being used for it's intended purpose, ie., buying the votes of society's leeches.

AND, we will never see them again, because we all know the CITY DOES NOT PAY ITS BILLS. Private contractors will hold the merchandise til the cash comes in.

Take cars back to dealers or private garages.

Dealerships want no part of that. They like doing warranty work, because they submit the bill electronically and it is paid the same day. Or a customer that pays with a credit card. Not having to wait 15-18 months for the City to get around to paying the invoice. If they have to wait for their money, they will factor that into the repair price, so there will be no savings.

Motorola designs the radios. They are made somewhere else. Doubt that they have repair facilities.

PDT's are tough to get parts for. By the time they break, they are obsolete and it is cheaper to replace them.
