Daley Resigns
No not that one. The other one....no that other one. The taller guy:
- William Daley is stepping down as White House chief of staff and budget director Jack Lew is taking over the President Obama’s team as it heads into a tough election year, senior administration officials say.
Daley gave his letter of resignation to the president in a private meeting in the Oval Office last week, recounting the administration's successes of his one year on the job and saying it was time for him to return to his hometown of Chicago.
President Obama made the news official this afternoon in a brief appearance in the state dining room of the White House, where he told reporters in somber tones that he is sorry to see Daley leave.
Speculation abounds:
- Daley doesn't associate with losers. Obama is headed into a tough reelection;
- Obama and his team realize the Chicago connections are more of a liability than an asset now, especially with Chicago being run by Rahm and circling the proverbial toilet;
- Damage control - maybe a Daley or someone close to them is about to get indicted and having Bill Daley in the White House might be a bit of a distraction.
Personally, we're hoping for option #3.

Or maybe he knows Rahm is only going to be Allowed to serve one term once he finishes Fucking things up enough and want's to follow in his brother's footsteps as Mayor next election... and to make sure of that; he moves back so he's considered a resident of Chicago... unlike the Asshole we have Now!

I sure hope that it is #3. that would be a great belated christmas present for us all.
Maybe the answer is a simple one. Maybe Obama decided his debt to Richard M. Daley has been paid in full and brother Bill is an albatross.
Then again, who knows? Maybe Bill has been diagnosed with an illness and honestly just wants to get out of the rat race. Time will tell. It always does.
Kinda hard to be Obamas chief of staff when your nephews are embezzling pension funds, stealing city contracts and dodging murder indictments.

Dont be fooled! Missed in the resignation announcement was the fact that Daley is Vice Chairman in charge of finance for the Obama re-election campaign. Campaign headquarters is is Chicago. Daley's highest value to Obama is raising money so another election can be bought.

Ralm comes off as though Daley was working for him instead of Obama.

Of course Daley is a crook who is primarily concerned with grafting as much money as possible. However, two things -- Bill's probably the least dumb of the Daleys, and he's not a left-liberal who wants to radically change the country. He actually wants to make the status quo work so that he can skim off more. This is fundamentally why he doesn't fit into the Obama Administration, which insofar as they have an ideology, it is a far-left one, and which is truly a clusterfuck in terms of actually getting anything constructive done. Remember, Daley isn't the only one to leave -- there's been a parade.
They hired Bill Daley to try and make the business community more at ease but it didn’t work. Bill Daley isn’t Marxist enough for the tyrant and his crew.
