We're #1! We're #1!

  • It's well-known that gun violence is an issue for many inner cities across the U.S. But Chicago, in particular, has the most alarming rates, almost double that of New York City.

Since 2008, 80 percent of the 530 young people under the age of 21 felled by gun violence lived in the city's South, Southwest and West sides, which are heavily populated with African-Americans and Latinos. Ironically, only one-third of the city's population lives in these areas. Englewood, an area in the city's South Side, stood out the most. Their murder rate is five times that of the rest of the city.
The headline at the link claims Chicago has the highest murder rate in the nation, but we aren't sure if that's a per capita measure or if it only includes cities over a certain threshold of population. Regardless, we are looking at a particularly bloody winter. Who knows what the spring may hold?

We need to throw more money via additional social programs into these areas.

Then we can watch the savages and illegals roll up in new Caddys, Lexuses, Infinitys and BMWs to take full advantage of whatever is being handed out for 'free' today, courtesy of you and I, the chump taxpayers. That oughta do the trick.

Then these leeches can retire to their ghetto stomping grounds to continue thinning their own herds.

We’ve been reporting on this for several years now, but until Chicago and the nation get new political leaders that are willing to stand up for and tell the truth, it will be violence as usual.
Too many people are trapped physically and mentally in Chicago's Liberal, Democratic,Godless Plantation. . The Liberal-Democratic Plantation agenda saps the spirit of self-reliance and traps people into lives of dependency. If you want to see Chicago’s overall problems go here- http://crimeinchicago.blogspot.com/

If the numbers are correct we have 68,000 active gang members in Chicago compared to between 15,000 to 30,000 active Taliban fighter in Afghanistan. But these little buggers here have rights? They are the true terrorist that make life difficlut for so many. As far as Englewood is concerned that place if utterly hopeless due to the lack of the tax base. It will be beyond repair for the forseeable future plus there are already 400+ cops in the district. How many will it take to stop the shootings?

Chicago has a higher murder rate per capita than the other Big U.S. cities, but there are other smaller cities across the country that have a way higher murder rate per capita than Chicago: Jackson, MS, Birmigham, AL, Memphis, TN, ST Louis, MO, and a few others in California and on the East Coast.

It would have to be murder rate in cities over a certain size.

A few years back south suburban Harvey was averaging almost one murder per 1000 people. That rate would put us well over 2000 a year.

I did see something recently that stated if Englewood was its own city it would have the nation's highest homicide rate. I suspect many hoods from throughout the nation could claim that title if they only competed with actual cities.

This is likely where BET reporters found the original story.

http://www.chicagoreporter.com/news/2012/01/more-young-people-are-killed-chicago-any-other-american-city

The Chicago Reporter does some great work. The solutions they offer are often wrong, but their reporting is almost always top notch. In other words their descriptions are spot on, but their prescriptions leave something to be desired.

They have a series now about Reverend Leon Finney from Woodlawn and all the tax money he receives to run "problematic" subsidized housing.

Hoover was replaced by Finney and he has stolen more and hurt the people of Woodlawn much more. The difference is Finney gave Daley his share."

How can gun violence be so much of a problem? Guns are banned in Chicago. The laws are supposed to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, but for some reason it seems only the criminals have guns in this shit hole. Oh wait, I guess that means that the Democrats running this city and state don't know what the hell they're doing. Vote them all out!!

Heres a thought not worth busting your ass for a city that would not back you up. Also, Cook county judges and prosecutors toss many cases out because if very minimal "BS" excuses. The warning signs are there on those who end up commiting these crimes and the courts are just letting them walk free. Not to say Many attorneys for these assholes are juiced up and funs many programs for the county. Well there you go thats why were Number 1 congrats Chicago!!! Hey the only place that actually does a good job of housing criminals is the morgue.

Support the 2nd Amendment and Stick it to the National Gun Victims Action Council this Valentine’s Day

by Bryan Black on February 3, 2012

A few people, including our friends at The Survival Podcast
(http://www.thesurvivalpodcast.com/starbucks-two-dollar-bills-and-flowers-for-valentines-day), have brought an issue to our attention that we all need to support and supporters of the 2nd Amendment.

The National Gun Victims Action Council has decided to start a movement for all anti-gun supporters to boycott Starbucks this Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2012. In response to this boycott, a few bloggers have started a Starbucks Appreciation Day (http://www.pagunblog.com/2012/01/23/starbucks-appreciation-day-2/) “buycott” to counter the NGVAC’s rally.

To participate in the Starbucks Appreciation Day, the call-out is to grab a few $2 bills (which justly portrays the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the reverse of the $2 bill) and head to Starbucks on Valentine’s Day to buy a few cups of coffee. Even if you can’t source $2 bills from your bank, make your presence known!

How do you do that and why all this pressure on Starbucks? Glad you asked!

Starbucks and the 2nd Amendment

As a whole, Starbucks has never done anything other than to support the local laws where their shops are located. This means that if that State/County allows Concealed Carry, then so do they. Click here to read about the original issue with the Brady Campaign we covered here back in 2010.

When Starbucks came under pressure from such circus animals as the Brady Campaign, it prompted the crew of Lightfighter.net and OP Tactical to produce the awesome Guns and Coffee Patch back in the spring of 2010.

This was the first iteration of any kind of pro-gun Starbucks patch and will always be the true patch for supporting the movement. Pick yours up today

from OP Tactical (in traditional green & white or subdued as seen on the right) and even if you can’t buy a cup of joe with a $2 bill on Valentine’s Day, you can always walk in wearing a Guns and Coffee Patch and as the Brady Campaign put it, “intimidate patrons” with your open or concealed carry!

Yeah, like in Afghanistan, which is going to be taken over by the Taliban the second we leave. Afghan and Pakistani "governments" accepting our endless "assistance" and laughing up their sleeves at us.

Like in Somalia, where the Marines had to reverse the movie and walk backwards down the pier, back onto the ship that brought them, firing to keep the mob off as they went. Now it's a pirate nest that terrorizes the ocean for thousands of miles, a few raggedy-a__ characters in a wooden boat and no one in Western civilization seems to have the slightest idea what to do about it...

Englewood/North Lawndale/Detroit/Camden/all the rest of it = "failed state."

Oh -- speaking of "foreign enemies," watch RT News from Russia on digital TV 20-3. You won't be able to stand it for long. You'll never see people who hate us so much. They are dragging out every Occupy crazy and troublemaker they can find to interview, again laughing up their sleeves at what is going to happen in Chicago for NATO/G8.

I'd be very surprised if they haven't done an hour-long special with Michael Moore by now. >retch<

...and if you look at the link SCC put up, you'll see that BET (MTV/Viacom) files this under "Health" stories!

It's that nonsense about "violence is a public health concern" that lets ten times more anti-gun NGOs into the tent to absorb endless grant money and accomplish nothing except lining their own pockets.

The "non-government organizations" and their army of well-paid "social service administrators" and so forth are about the only "growth sector" in ths country.

(I guess Chicago's Hull House got so top-heavy with "coordinators" and "facilitators" and other unaffordable parasites that it finally died after 120 years. I see this every day, the staff of these places working in new offices and driving fine cars, throwing diamond gala "fundraisers" at country clubs while "clients" are lined up around the block trying to get an aspirin tablet out of the whole deal.)

Meanwhile, people kill each other while yelling for someone else to "stop the violence."

It's genetic (maybe)

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/06/090605123237.htm

and because the worst gangstas have lots of kids that's why it seems more psycho with each generation - because there's 1% more psychos.

I think that might be the biggest reason prison works - at least when it was done right - it reduced the number of kids criminals had.

That makes it worse. Either the MSM are stupid and naive or it means they've been deliberately covering up the true reality for decades to fit their politics. Covering up the reality has prevented anything being done to solve the problems so that makes them evil.

It's the same everywhere. If the media told the truth something could be done but they won't so it just gets worse. They're evil.
