But Was It In The Zone?

  • Three people were shot in two attacks within a block of each other today in the South Shore neighborhood, authorities said.

Two people were shot near 71st Street and Clyde Avenue about 7 p.m., said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.

A 17-year-old boy was critically wounded in the attack. He's at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to his side and chest, Chicago Police News Affairs [...] said.

The other, a 21-year-old man, was shot in the leg and is in stable condition at the same hospital, [...].

The shooting may have been a drive-by.
And once again, poor marksmanship results in the homicide remaining static for the moment while shootings skyrocket.

The zone is dead in 007! No more downed cars, just do the usual. Remember the zone, but the zone is dead.

The city leader will sit there and tolerate all this shit...however it someone threatens a corporation it's all hands on deck!

The force is not even proportionate. Like we're ready to use deadly force for property damage.

No-one is going to fix these problems until they acknowledge the problems.

The War on Drugs has failed and the city is going to go bankrupt on it's present path of treating the symptoms instead of the cause.

It's nice to know we're not the only ones with drive-by shootings hitting innocent victims.
