Another School Sees the Light

  • FONTANA, Calif. – The school police force in this Southern California city has acquired 14 high-powered semiautomatic rifles for officers to bring to campuses.

Fontana Unified School District police purchased 14 of the Colt LE6940 rifles last fall, and they were delivered the first week of December, a week before a gunman killed 26 students and educators at a Connecticut elementary school.

"I think it just further solidified the need to give our officers the tools they need to respond to an active shooter on campus," schools Police Chief Billy Green said Wednesday about the tragedy.
Question - in light of the massive upswing in school shootings (there isn't one, but the media wants you to think there is) by assailants wielding fully automatic "assault rifles" (which also isn't happening, but the left wants to frighten the sheeple), why isn't the murder capital of the United States holding training drills with SWAT, District personnel and school officials?

Won't somebody think of the children? Or is this just a political game?

Funny you should ask that last question. I was with MSF. I asked to do this same type of training. Training drills at different locations. Schools, Navy Pier, Train stations, Willis tower, etc.... All prime targets for terrorist and these wack job attacks. They preached that it was only a matter of WHEN it was going to happen here in Chicago. We watched videos of the Mumbai attacks and other videos quite often. The training for it was brushed aside. Lets just talk about it and do zero to prepare. Thats all the media is doing also. Bring in "experts" who may have written a book about an incident and let them critique the LEO response. How about have fundraisers to equip your Local Police District/Department? Ask them what they need and donate the items to them. We need squad cars(approx 1/3 or more of our Officers and Sgts sit waiting for a squad car each night due to the lack of vehicles available, a car breaks down, theres no replacements), working computers, secure Police Station lobbies with bullet proof glass. Dont ever give this City cash. It will go to some politicians friend as a kickback.

No one seems to think its important to be prepared. Its easier to just mop up afterwards and have some sort of "what could we do next time to prevent this" committee. Thats all that the "intellectuals" with degrees know how to do. Buy some smart looking glasses and use big words to define a crazy mother f##ker. We already know what make them tick. Its better to train how to respond and have perfect shot placement.

The Department doesnt want to waste money paying Officers to train and be ready for any major incident. Remember NATO? Our 8 hours of b.s. "training" in October the year before really prepared us and made us ready for May. What a joke. Federal dollars dumped into the City for preparedness and all we get are cameras to film it. No training. No equipment. No gear.

Thank God I work with alot of bad ass dudes here in the City. We are all we have and the only ones who care about us. We are the ones who have learned to get the job done with no resourses. Soon, we will be walking to our calls. Be safe and always carry off duty....

Here on CPD we can't even get a decent squad with a working computer. Let alone these in house computers that move data like old people screw.

Wow what a concept. Give Police Officers the tools to be successful. But here on CPD we don't need tools. We have the best tool of all McCarthy!!!

Just the other night there was a "gunman on the campus" hoax at UVA and the schools website announced a lock down and told students to " seek safety" That is some disaster prep eh? seek safety? Where?

I thought that all the schools were told to review their plans and yet you interview these kids and no-one knows what to do where to go. Just happened at another school with those three people shot outside a school library.

Of course is not much of a plan to lock the doors and cower in a fetal position on the floor or in a closet or behind a desk and "wait for the good guys"

Interesting that it is on the Today show more than a month after the shootings. Anyone who has been paying attention (chirp chirp chirp) knew this from Day One. It has been stated in news articles, usually one line buried in the middle of the article, that Sandyhook shooter had 2 handguns and the "assault" weapon(s) were in the car outside.

@1/23, 0550am, Been in 001 for awhile? On days? Then you should know Nagode doesn't work days unless the DC is on furlough. To the guy who said the letter writer knew how to work and get the job done: he got dumped for constant beefs -physical abuse, verbal abuse, illegal searches, etc . Back him on the street, sure. But don't be so quick to support his letter writing campaign. After all, when he was in back, he didn't give a shit about the watch. The pun about the "skeleton" in his closet was funny shit.
1/24/2013 09:20:00 AM

Wow, I think you might be talking about me 9:20am. I was in the back in 001 and due to the fact that the watch was full while I was there, it didn't matter what I thought. You are right that I was dumped from tac for beefs, but if it was for physical abuse, it was only because the dope boy was fighting. Now since I did most of the work, I got most of the beefs. I'm not sure why, but probably because every motherfucker down there knew me, and every hype told me I was really bad for business, i'll accept that as the reason why. I'm sure you weren't on my team because if you were, you'd know I wasn't dirty and I didnt steal. That being said 9:30am, It wasn't my letter campaign, but rather a 3rd watch letter campaign that was talked about for months. If those who knew want to deny it, then that is up to them, but i'll man-up and admit I had input and stand behind it 100%. Better yet 9:30, if you want to talk about it with me, you can talk all the shit you want to my face. I'll be in 001monday on 3rd watch and you can tell me all about the skeletons in my closet. Just so there is no mistaking about who we are talking about, my name is Marzano and If you are talking about me, I hope to see you there. Sorry SCC, but if anyone is interested about what we have been talking about, I'll send you a copy of the letter. Maybe then your readers can tell me what was so wrong with it since it caused so much trouble in 001.

SCC, This is the letter that has caused a headache for the watch in 001.

To: Commander Graeber

From: 001/3rd watch

Subject: Officer Safety

The purpose of this To/From is to bring to your attention the severe manpower shortage afflicting the 3rd watch. For the last year, 3rd watch has been so depleted of personnel to the point that almost all beat cars ride 99 on a daily basis. This is a major safety concern to the watch being that most of our tour is after daylight hours when it is most dangerous for an officer. All officers strongly agree that this is unacceptable as it will be only a matter of time until an officer is un-necessarily injured.

In March 2012, the district was expanded to 31st street from 24th place. The third watch now has less officers assigned than before this expansion. Currently we are using bicycle officers to staff the beat cars even though the tact office has more than enough personnel to help fill the watch. We on 3rd watch question the fact that the tact office now has close to 60 officers, while the 3rd watch will soon be down to 47, least of the 3 watches. It is no secret that in 001, making sure six tact teams are fully staffed takes priority over manning the beat cars 10-4. Morale on the watch is at a low point and constantly being denied time-due does not help the situation as all the officers will attest to.

We are asking that you meet with the watch and listen to our concerns and hopefully come to a solution to our staffing needs.

001/3rd watch

Because the criminal socialist scum in charge of running the city and county governments don't care about children. They care about graft and disarming the population that will one day come after them for it.

None of the Fort Hood soldiers killed by the muslim major had a firearm nor did they have any quick access to one. Open carry of a loaded weapon on a military establishment is limited to law enforcement because God forbid these well-trained military personnel be allowed to carry. OT- just wanted to let SCC and all the troops know that DSS LT JA in 011 is telling his officers to lie in court. He tells an officer to go get a mitt at 26th and california. The officer asks him where is the arrestee, and is he admitted in the hospital. JA tells him don't worry if he is admitted yet, just get the mitt. After the officer gets the mitt, the hospital usually releases the arrestee. At this point JA tells them to take the mitt to the officer at the hospital where when the offender is released the other officer can take the offender to the back door of 26th and cal into receiving with the mitt and they have to take them in.

Its a nice end around so JA doesn't have to get the DEPUTY involved to see the duty judge. Just wanna let all you guys see what kind of real boss there is on second watch in 011. Of course if the officer were to get caught in a lie, I am sure JA won't admit to telling him to say the offender was admitted into the hospital.

The mitt is not supposed to be obtained until the hospital accepts the prisoner and not for the officer to lie to the judge that he was admitted. Oh and there are supposed to be two officers watching a prisoner to which never happens. All facts, just the facts.

I mean no disrespect to CPD officers, but I think that if the shit went down in Chicago (mass shooter, terrorist, etc) that we'd be ill-prepared. If some fucknut opened fire at Navy Pier, what's the realistic response time? I'm a civilian and what this blog is telling me is that you guys don't have the tools to do your jobs. If cars aren't working, you can't respond. And if some asshole has an "assault weapon" (used in the ironic sense) and first responders are outgunned...

When was the last time CPD held a mass drill of some sort?

As one of our Westside bosses said when we watched the video on Active Shooters. You could be doing everything right, going down the halls in diamond formation and all the Tac-boys will go running helter-skelter past your drawn guns yelling YA-HOO!

An AR-15 story with a positive outcome:
Then, a week later, on the night of Sunday January 20, two nearly identical crimes were committed.

About 7, two young black men with a gun broke into the apartment of a couple of University of Rochester students and robbed them of electronics.

About 5 hours later, at midnight, two young black men with a gun broke into the apartment of a couple of Rochester Institute of Technology students and attempted to rob them.

The two home invasions took place in the same neighborhood of the same city on the same night.

In both cases, no arrests were made and no weapons were recovered. One was reported by police to the news media. Not a word was said about the other one.

One led local newscasts, the other was known only to the victims, the perpetrators and the cops.

The one the police reported was a story about bad guys winning. Two innocent grad students get ripped off by a couple of home-invading street thugs.

The story the police kept quiet was very different.

According to police documents, here’s what happened. “S” stands for suspect and “V” stands for victim.

“The S’s smashed a basement window to gain entry into the house and then unlocked the back door to escape.

“The two V’s, RIT Students, were upstairs in their individual bedrooms when V1 heard the sound of glass breaking. At first he wasn't alarmed, thinking that it was a noise from his roommate's television. He then checked with the roommate who denied the noise coming from his room.

“V1 went downstairs to investigate and was immediately confronted by S1 who was standing at the bottom of the stairs pointing a black semi-automatic handgun at him. S1 ordered him back up the stairs.

“Hearing the verbal exchange, V2 retrieved his legal (AR-15) rifle and confronted the two S’s, who then fled out the back door. V1 went to his bedroom, retrieved his legal 9 mm handgun.

“He then called 911 and waited for police to arrive.

“There were no city cameras in the area. K9 track and neighborhood canvas both had negative results. Tech responded and processed the scene.”

That story the police department did not release.

This is the same police department that is hip-deep in a goofy Twitter campaign to “open channels of communication” with “the community.” This is the same police department that bought a smartphone app that lets residents bitch about officers.

This is the same police department that lists transparency and open communications with residents among its highest priorities.

One incident gets reported, the other gets covered up.

In the middle of a raging debate over assault rifles, the Democrat police chief protégé of the Democrat lieutenant governor neglects to tell the community that a law-abiding college student used a legal assault rifle to turn away two armed home invaders.

Follow the money.

Politicians rewarding the banks while playing the victims, isn't that what's really going on here?

The Transfer of Wealth.

Borrow more money that you can't pay back gives the corporate/political apparatus a crisis that they can use.

See. Oh, you're a higher credit risk now so we (the banks) have to raise your interest rates on the next round of borrowing.

Meanwhile, the politicians throw up their hands, demonize the pensions and tell us we have to pay with more taxes.

Who's making out in the end? The banks holding the city and state bonds. Blow some more money mayor, governor. Get that credit rating up a few more notches so that there's an excuse to transfer more money to the corporate banker CEO's.

Jan 25 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services downgraded Illinois' credit rating by one notch to A-minus on Friday, citing the state's lack of action on reforms to address its huge unfunded public pension liability.

The rating agency also placed a negative outlook on the lower rating, saying legislative consensus and action will be needed to tackle a range of challenges, including pensions.

The Police Board fired a p.o. because he wrote on the bathroom wall. About several months ago officers from the 3rd watch were writing harassing information on the gentleman's bathroom wall.

Now it will bite them in the ass. A major investigation is underway. Before they erased the bathroom wall, an e.t. took pictures and now they will find the culprits.

Multiple p.o.'s will be in trouble. Now are you sweating? Now are you having sleepless nights?

Police writing on the bathroom walls, sounds like the idiot who blogs from 019. These people really do need to grow up. Kind of scary that they are the police in the first place.

Yes, there were no armed guards here either --

"On February 25, 1994, that year's Purim day, [Baruch] Goldstein entered a room in the Cave of the Patriarchs that was serving as a mosque, wearing "his army uniform with the insignia of rank, creating the image of a reserve officer on active duty." He then opened fire, killing 29 worshippers and wounding more than 125. Mosque guard Mohammad Suleiman Abu Saleh said he thought that Goldstein was trying to kill as many people as possible and described how there were "bodies and blood everywhere".

"Eventually, Goldstein was overcome and beaten to death by survivors of the massacre."

"The Israeli government condemned the massacre, and responded by arresting followers of Meir Kahane, forbidding certain settlers from entering Arab towns, and demanding that those settlers turn in their army-issued rifles."

"In 1999, after the passing of Israeli legislation outlawing monuments to terrorists, the Israeli army dismantled the shrine that had been built to Goldstein at the site of his interment."

At UICPD, we also have received no training in an active shooter scenario. We only have a few rifles floating around in cars, and you're lucky if the rifle mount isn't broken. Even if we have a rifle, we have less than 60 rounds available. So should something happen on campus, most of us are responding with our 45 rounds of .40 cal and our duty guns.

We've asked to be able to buy and carry our own rifles, but that's been shot down repeatedly.

Our command staff is relying on the fact that they can call CPD SWAT should something happen. That's their gameplan.

It's amazing that even after all these school shootings, this department would rather spend money on take home cars for the bosses than properly equip patrol officers. After all, we haven't had a shooting yet, right?

"Won't somebody think of the children? Or is this just a political game?" -- SCC

Connecticut authorities reiterating -- "The Bushmaster was Lanza's primary weapon during the shooting, which killed 20 young children and six adults."

In a similar story where the shooter had a .223 rifle, we hear "He then opened fire, killing 29 worshippers and wounding more than 125."

Even given that the mosque was probably one large space where the school was more divided into rooms and hallways, isn't the near-complete absence of wounded in Newtown a bit odd? "Batman," the Colorado theater shooter, was causing casualties through the walls three theaters away.

Now, horribly, put yourself into the mindset of someone out to kill as many as possible, knowing that he has a finite supply of ammunition and limited time in which to complete his plan.

The action I instinctively begin to simulate is "hit, and shift target, and hit, and shift, and hit, and shift." Victims would not be standing still, either, but would be seen by the shooter to be escaping to right and left.

The lethality of the .223 is such that no child would be standing after the first hit. Anyone who is familiar with the service rifle cartridge knows the shattering noise and the muzzle flash, especially indoors -- are we to believe that the shooter stood there as though operating a jackhammer, putting "from three to ten rounds" into each supine and dead or moribund victim? That takes TIME. That is WORK.

Forgive me, but I'm trying to think like a monster. "This isn't any FUN. There's a live one!" Hit, and shift...

Surely the expended cartridge cases have been tallied up by now? Surely a diagram of the shooter's movements has been drawn? I have seen no simple summation as could be contained on one or two newspaper pages.

There are still a number of unanswered questions here. The apparent remodeling efforts going on in a "crime scene," the er-uh-ah Medical Examiner who normally has such a reputation as a formidable witness...

I would not be launching a national campaign to pass various laws -- none of which in any case would have made the slightest difference in a case where an affluent person shielded their disturbed offspring, trained them at arms, and allowed them access to a gun safe with a large number of firearms and a large supply of ammunition.

But that's just me...

SWAT is not coming. We don't have take home cars. Only a few do. Along with the idiot Sgt's and Lt. Active shooter will be the responsibility of the district. They also have little training. Basically we are fucked. I've been telling you that I have to respond in my own personal car to districts like 015, 007, 002, 006 and 003. The natives are around as I get into my SWAT gear. Is thus the plan of action that CPD command wants for a terrorist attack. There elite unit cannot respond because of no take home cars. Hey Lt MM, WTF!!!! How did Lt Ray Ray get take home cars for SWAT then we lost them! Do your job instead of just making speeches.

To 1/25 at 1:15PM, if you want to read the best coverage of reprinted articles from the USA and around the world on what IS really happening in this country, etc. go to www.freerepublic.com.

New articles are appearing every minute on this website, and you can just read from one article to another, with the source name and date of the article included on the reprint of same.

Every morning, go to www.freerepublic.com as your go-to news source...forget the Today Show, what crap!, or any of the mainstream media networks owned by oboma and the so-called programming contained on same. It is the left lying to you daily, or clouding your head with fluff to distract you from the true news in this country. OT, but something you need to know, forget the name of the old Democratic Party. It should now be called the Socialist-Democratic Party of the USA. Compare oboma's policies to what you read on the www.cpusa.org website..that is, the Communist Party USA. Try this experiment: pull up this website and hide the name of the website from view. Have your kid or another adult read the website, and then ask them whose website they think this is. I understand that the kids think it's oboma's website..try this on others and see what they say. And I read this on www.freerepubic.com...get your head out of the crap media sources who tell you lies, and start reading the truth..real news.
