Robber Stabs Accomplice
- Police said a robbery Wednesday morning went sour for two attackers inside a Blue Line car when one of them tried to stab their 70-year-old victim and knifed his accomplice instead.
All three men boarded the train at the Kedzie Station on the West Side, police said. The two attackers approached the victim on the O'Hare-bound train as it approached the LaSalle Station downtown about 12:30 a.m., police said.
One of the men accused the victim of taking his cellphone, and when the victim began to walk away, the men pushed him to the ground, police said.
When the victim tried to fight back, one of the attackers kicked him in the face, police said. One of the men then cut the victim's pants and took his wallet, police said. That man then attempted to stab the victim with a knife and accidentally cut his partner, a 24-year-old male, said police.
The only thing that may have made this better was if the 70-year-old had a gun to defend himself. As it was though, this was the second best outcome.

Wrong SCC, I suspect that when Chicago does have a conceal carry law. When a citizen does use his right of self defense, this shitty city and state will pull a "Bernard Ghoetz" on him/her.
Bernard Ghoetz was a New Yorker and while on a subway train, three male blacks approached him in an aggressive manner. A few years earlier he was a victim of a brutal strong arm robbery in which he was launched head first into a glass shopping window injuring him to a great degree. When the three male blacks approached him and encircling him and asking him for his money, he shot all three of them.
The city charged him with shooting those three male blacks. All three male blacks had long violent rap sheets, including robbery. Mr. Ghoetz had a domestic battery 30 years prior.
Mr. Ghoetz was tried and convicted. This is what I suspect will happen to citizens who exercise their right.
Were the Felony charges approved because the victim was a Senior Citizen? Or did they blow it off, because an old guy on the "L" probably does not have any clout.
As of yesterday morning, charges were still not approved. Case CI'd by ASA. That may have changed by now, though. Charges were: agg Robb, agg batty/po (x2), resisting. Listed court date was in February for misd court.
It's those damn Koreans again.

It's Bernhard Goetz and it was 4 Shitheads that attempted to rob him. One of the Shitheads threatened him with an sharpened screwdriver. He fired 5 times hitting all 4 Shitheads. Yes,Goetz was thrown under the proverbial Bus to appease the Savage Hordes for political reasons.For an short period of time,robberies on the NYC Subway system plummeted.Fun fact: all 4 Shitheads went on SSI Disability because of the gunshot wounds. The other fact is that all 4 Shitheads are dead thru urban activity or suicide. Bernie Goetz is still living.
