Ethics Test Time
Everybody's favorite time of year - Ethics Testing!
They've switched up the test this year, adding some humorous videos with Rahm playing straight-man to someone named Grayson Area. It's a test you can't fail, since wrong answers merely kick you back to the question and you have to remember to answer the opposite of what you just did. Wow, great test and even an aldercreature can pass it in one try. We've even heard that promotional tests are going to be based on this.
Here's some help for the slower crowd:

Question 5. When you retire can your Son or Daughter take over your position?
Answer; only if you are an Alderman or Cook County Board President, but we are working on more positions. Possibly CPD merit appointees, wait we kind of do that now don't we.
Is there a question on the test that asks: is it ethical to contract with a law firm that drew the blueprint on the parking meter scandal and then when you retire from that city job , you then work for that law firm as a highly paid consultant?..
Is that question on the "ethics" test????

When I (not a cop) worked for the state we had the same type of mandatory test, but if you took it too fast it sent a message to the IG. So I'd start, then get coffee and answer a few, then see a friend and come back and finish. The toughest part was walking past the picture of smiling Blago between answers.

Ours in Massachusetts does the same thing. There are no fearless leader politicians in ours though.

Thanks SCC for the answers. That was a hard test and the videos were amazing. I spent 7 minutes completing the ethics test. I learned nothing except that white shirts and aldermen violate the rules every day.
