Body Count Rises
- Two men were killed and another eight people wounded in shootings all over the city Friday night and Saturday morning.
- A man was shot and killed and another man wounded in a shooting in the Dearborn Homes neighborhood this evening, and at least three other people shot on the South Side since early this afternoon, authorities said.
About 6:15 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot and later died in the 2900 block of South State Street, and 54-year-old man suffered a graze wound, said Chicago Police News Affairs....
Both of the injured initially were taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, according to the Fire Department.
Early this afternoon, a man was in an alley in the 1800 block of West 44th Street when he was shot about 12:30 p.m., said Chicago Police Department News Affairs....
So once again, we rush toward a weekend with almost 20 people with extra holes in their bodies and a couple "death investigations." Thank goodness the speed cameras are almost here to protect the children.

From what we saw in the Dearborn's last nite the dead dude was shot in the back and the one that lived was shot in the gut, arm and face. Has the department now changed the definition of a "graze" wound?! Oh wait, they must be applying the medical section's definition of graze wound. You know, the one right next to the definition of IOD which states it must occure while fighting an alien, on a mountain top, in a leap year while it rains frogs.
Anyone else hear about the large mob wilding yesterday about 2pm that started at Chicago/State (no surprise), went up Michigan Ave and under lake shore drive to Oak St beach. Heard they beat up a few and made off with a nice selection of stuff! No word in any of the media. Sadly, word has it took the CPD a VERY long time to show. Too bad one of the victims didn't pick one or two of these youts off.

Do they ever reclassify death investigations any more, or do they just then file them? What would the count be if someone looked back into these cases and gave them the classification they should have.
Black on black violence is ok in the veiw of the race baiting reverunds. If a white guy was involved in any of these shootings the reverunds would break out the protests and marching.

Chicago Breaking news has as a headline 2 KILLED and 14 SHOT from Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning. How long is Rahm going to wait until he dumps this failure of a superintendent?
Did anyone notice on NBC Nightly News that Supt. McCarthy and his driver were NOT WEARING SEAT-BELTS while driving during a crime coverage newscast which aired today?

Wait til you see what McCarthy has planned for death investigations. Can't determine it is a homicide, even if the person is shot, until "intent" is determined. So if no one in custody and no witnesses, it remains a death investigation. Talk about trying to cook the books and desperation. Good thing is it won't take the media long (hopefully even our media) to figure this one out.
If the mutts on the south side wanna kill each other who gives a shit. Where are your reverends where is the outcry why aren't they standing on the corners in an uproar cause they dont give a shit either. Yes I am a mt greenwood resident and proud of it. The hillbillies ain't killing each other here.
