- Under their “custom notifications” program, Chicago police try to forestall shootings by visiting and talking to people identified as likely to be involved in violence before anything happens.
The idea is to try to prevent crime instead of chasing it after it happens. But it raises the question in some quarters: Isn’t this racial profiling? Don’t the people on the receiving end of police visits have a legitimate beef about being harassed when they haven’t necessarily done anything?
When authorities profile a person, it means singling out a person who isn’t doing anything wrong but is a member of larger class that is perceived as likely to commit crimes.
So what's racist about this? Well, first of all, the program picks out people with criminal backgrounds. That's racist right there because most criminals are minorities. Don't believe us though, it's what the statistics say.
Second, it picks out people who associate with criminals. That's racist because of the previous statement.
Third, anything that involved the police is racist. Even computer programs that take into account only the mathematical formulas that are programed into it. Math is racist, too.
Is there any level these morons won't stoop down to as long as it doesn't involve them (and their communities) looking in the mirror?

They are simply a tool, used by the powers that be ,to distract and control the greater population.
It has worked so well that new populations of aliens are being introduced not only here but in other western nations as well.

When everyone is profiled it becomes annoying, annoyance turns into frustration which then turns into disdain & lack of respect. No amount of statistics In the world is going to matter to a citizen who is and hasn't commited a crime but is being treated like a criminal because he/she skin is dark.

So using your logic since not every person getting on an airplane is carrying a gun or bomb I guess we should only send the ones that we know are carrying bombs/guns through metal detectors right? So simple just arrest the bad guys and leave everyone else alone. If the offender is described as M/B guess who gets more scrutiny on the street? I think what would serve the citizens better is the city take out life insurance policies on each one of them, and agree to pay for their funeral expenses upon their death. Guess you really aren't paying attention. Besides this there was an article from bond raters that said there is really no comparison between Chicago and Detroit. Chicago has better economics. The oly thing they have in common is debt. Beside that Chicago has less unemployment,higher property values,higher medium income and a slower rate of population decrease.
Also Chicago has set more money aside for rainy days,more cash on hand and a far greater ability to meet its debt although the mayor has a reluctance to raise property taxes.
Comparing Chicago to Detroit is like comparing apples and oranges.

Thats not what I said at all. My logic would lean more to the side of Airports having a law to enforce, that enforcement annoys people but I have never been on a plane so I wouldn't understand the annoyance and disdain people have for airport security. Get it?
But the airport scenario is not really a strong argument. People, of all races have a choice to deal with airport security or not. While minorities on the other hand are profiled based on what they look like. I should expect to be searched and go through the whole 9 at an airport, not just walking down the street.

Blacks are annoyed and hold disdain towards people who partake in racially profiling minorities. But I am sorry to hear that you guys have to go through that. Are you familiar with the Knockout Game? It is a racially motivated violent game that targets whites. In Florida it is called ”polar bear hunting” and it is illegal.
How is it played?
You start with a group of blacks that number anywhere from 3 to 30 people. As a group, they search for white people, preferably alone, elderly and somewhat defenseless. If they can’t find any, Asians are the next ethnic group targeted. When a target is selected, at least one of the blacks approaches the target and then suddenly sucker punches them in the face as hard as they can. If the victim is knocked out, the person that hit them wins. If the victim is not knocked out, then you continue to hit and kick them until you’re too tired to hit anymore or until the person is dead.

It doesn't annoy blacks, well any that I know, that whites don't understand how annoying it is that they ignore the facts that blacks are racially profiled more than whites. Blacks are annoyed and hold disdain towards people who partake in racially profiling minorities. But I am sorry to hear that you guys have to go through that. I'll start to show sympathy to that travesty more often.
In all seriousness though, soapbox? It's the truth! I simply informed you as to why minorities have a problem with racial profiling. The black community as a whole is not fucked up, it's just the part of the community you decide to tune in to thats on the news every night, or the communities you patrol(if your a officer.) And every person in that part of the community isn't a criminal. That maybe hard for someonr as close minded as you to understand but That's not bitching, once again it's the truth.

Nobody is saying all black people are fucked up. Black people commit more crime than anyone else by FAR. If you being stopped by the police is a "travesty" them you have emotional issues. If you don't want to be policed so heavily than stop fucking up so heavily and start policing yourselves. I'll give you a hint, white people are doing it for years. Fuck off in your own house. Have your car tightened up. Follow the rules of the road. If your going to break the law, do it in your own home. There are countless more rules to follow but they all involve personal responsibility. An emotional unstable person like yourself cannot fathom the concept.

I don't know why everyone is bitching about the African American perspective of racial profiling. We don't like it, point blank. You wouldn't like to walk outside of your house everyday/ every other day, walk to the store, from work, school, or simply taking a stroll around the neighborhood and be required to put your hands on the hood of a blazing hot patrol car and searched when you've done nothing illegal, it's a demoralizing feeling. We understand why it's done(as I've stated countless times so I'm not ignoring any stats, learn to read) but does that mean we should bow down and accept it? Of course not. Everyone is missing my whole point as to why blacks don't like racial profiling: racial profiling gives us the impression that you think all blacks are criminals. Period.
