Revenge Served Hot
We thought revenge was best served cold, but this guy had other ideas:
- Suspects from an armed robbery are now in jail, but a bad decision by the victim has him facing charges as well.
Video from a New Mexico home caught two men running down the street when a black car hits them, launching one of the men into the air.
Police tell ABC affiliate KOAT-TV that Quinn Chavez, 18, was behind the wheel.
"Oh that could have been a fatal injury, very easily," said Rio Rancho police Capt. Paul Rogers.
Police say just minutes before the crash, Chavez and his passenger were robbed by two men they hit. The robbery took place at a nearby park.
Police say the men robbed Chavez and his passenger at gunpoint before taking off on foot. Police say Chavez then followed the suspects in his car, and used his vehicle to run them over.
We'd call this payback for all the times these assholes got away with their behavior.

Is this an episode out of "Bowling for Columbine"?
MY WAY
get the fuck out of it
I'm thinking a jury will pat this guy on the back and offer to buy him lunch. (One can hope, anyway.).
Awesome
That is awesome!!! That second guy got some major air under him!!!!
Chavez should have just taken back his shit and split .
It might be excellent payback, but as it so often happens, the guy who actually has something to lose is going to lose something.
rb
Fuck it - I wouldn't charge the victim at all. I'd give him a Key To The City for apprehending the two assholes that robbed him.
Good for them! If more victims shot or ran over the crooks there would be fewer crooks.
HAH!
This shit WILL happen more often as everybody's enemy,
The Police, are increasingly made to go away in order
to appease progressives and the "mob."
It is quite possibly a very good thing that every
living ass is now equally in danger.
We get to see who is made of what.
Every man for himself, according to his conscience
and that which levels and centers him with whatever
deity/entity he pledges devotion to.
Why so mad?
The Police and Policing are being shoved aside for...
What exactly?
Couldn't back up and finish the job?
Blame his loss of control of the car on the attack by the two thugs.
"I did not mean to hit them, but I blacked out because they hit me."
"We were just following them for the police."
Cars are dangerous weapons, more dangerous than guns.
We need Car Control!
Ban High HP Cars!
No one needs a car that can go 90 miles per hour.
Hit Him Again!
Harder!
Harder!
I watched it a 100 times. Poetic justice.
I'd say he was just stopping a fleeing felon--and saving other citizens from harm! :)
Guilty.
Fine him 1 dollar.
Never mess with an Irish-Mexican (maybe) American.
He hit them in self defense.
Outstanding.
He was just racing to the police station to make a report. The robber tried to stop him.
Announcing the minting of the Quinn Chavez Silver Medal For Direct Citizen Action. Comes on a nice purple neck ribbon.
Armed fleeing felons. Thud, babump babump.
Good deal.
So where is the crowdfunding page for the defense fund?
Hopefully there wasn't major damage to the car.
Armed robbers as bowling pins? What's not to love about that?
It should be like the three second rule for dropping food on a clean surface. If you're robbed, assaulted or raped you should have a certain, short period of time where returning violence is still deemed self-defense. Nailing the demons even while they're fleeing their crime qualifies.
Pants on the ground...
That hit them harder than the criminal justice system would've.
Hmm they didn't take my car keys so let's get them! great revenge! so good! feel the pain my enemies! have a nice day!
That is awesome!!!
ROTFL! That video is f--king priceless, especially the way that one asshole was flipped .
Had it been a hat trick it would have been better.
Ha! I'm not condoning violence (OK, maybe a little mayhem), but those jagoffs got what they deserve. Too bad that guy is probably gonna do some time for that.
Love it. In "1776 America" the driver would be the hero even if his family were illegal. Oh, how far we have fallen.
perfect 7-10 split.Bravo young lad.
That's comedy gold right there!
Mr. Chavez...I'd like to take you out to dinner. For the rest of your life!!!
No police services rendered here

S.C.C.--thank you for posting this; it's the kind of story whose ending warms my heart. Quinn Chavez ought not be charged with anything. If anything, why isn't this young man receiving a key to his city of residence? If this sort of thing happened more often, certain elements in modern American society would fast cease their capricious, violent, and disgusting shenanigans. As in overnight.

Hey, they were just robbed! Payback is a bitch!
I would NOT lock them up.
Make it a "hit and run" and no description of the vehicle!
Who cares!
I can just see the face on the guy at the State Farm claim office when the insured explains what happened. I just got robbed by these 2 shit heads so I rammed them. I think a lot of those scratches will buff right out. ♠️
Fuck it! The criminal justice system would have coddled the thieves and then the very same judges and politicians who can't and won't enforce existing laws will want to "reform" the current system and change the laws to begin with. What a sick joke on the working class and folks who obey the law.
I would have NEVER arrested the driver!
Those fools robbed the guy and then threw the gun in a garbage can!
Fuck that, if I'm going to arrest the robbery victim!
I tell people all the time to go get a gun for protection against the animals!
The Police can NOT protect the public anymore without being second guessed like a Quarterback in a football game!
Ha what goes around comes around. In this case it came faster than usual.
That's gonna leave a mark...
Chasing a shooter by car, who still had the gun in his had in the jets one night, we kinda did the same. He tossed his gun just before we came up along side of him and I quickly opened my passenger side door to "slow" him down a bit. He, too, did a pretty good aerial trick. What fun this job once was.
Looks like a 19 Paul to me.
In Texas there's an interesting law where you can use lethal force against someone running away from you if they're in possession of something they've stolen from you and it's after sundown:
Sec. 9.41. PROTECTION OF ONE'S OWN PROPERTY. (a) A person in lawful possession of land or tangible, movable property is justified in using force against another when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to prevent or terminate the other's trespass on the land or unlawful interference with the property.
(b) A person unlawfully dispossessed of land or tangible, movable property by another is justified in using force against the other when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to reenter the land or recover the property if the actor uses the force immediately or in fresh pursuit after the dispossession and:
(1) the actor reasonably believes the other had no claim of right when he dispossessed the actor; or
(2) the other accomplished the dispossession by using force, threat, or fraud against the actor.
Sec. 9.42. DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY. A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property:
(1) if he would be justified in using force against the other under Section 9.41; and
(2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary:
(A) to prevent the other's imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime; or
(B) to prevent the other who is fleeing immediately after committing burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, or theft during the nighttime from escaping with the property; and
(3) he reasonably believes that:
(A) the land or property cannot be protected or recovered by any other means; or
(B) the use of force other than deadly force to protect or recover the land or property would expose the actor or another to a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury.
Many of the wilding attacks by youths take place in the midst of moving cars and would stop if this approach were taken by the victims.
