- After pleading guilty to robbing Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s teenage son and apologizing in court, Phillip B. Payne got a break.
Cook County Judge Lori Wolfson sentenced Payne to three years of probation, telling him she thought he “is not a violent person” and is “capable of doing well.” She also ordered him to stay away from gangs and drugs.
But since his sentencing earlier this year, the wiry 18-year-old known as “Peejay” hasn’t managed to do that, according to interviews, court records and his own social-media posts.
Evidently, this guy turned his life around so hard, he spun a full 360, and kept headed down the wrong path. And the case with the mayor's kid is still active because no one can find the accomplice, so don't look at the case report.

I wish some good journalist will start diging through hundreds of cases at juvy court and see how many similar cases exist where the judges give breakes and these teens are out there committing crimes, over and over again!!!inquires mines would like to know ???

I am a citizen who gives my full support to Chicago's Finest. However, I have a problem and I seek your advice.
I reported a burglary where someone forced my rear door and stole $700 cash and my wife's jewelry from my house. While I did get a phone call from a detective, nothing happened. I since got proof that it was a teenager from across the street who broke in and stole the cash.
I have several police friends. I gave one of them my case number. He looked it up. The detective wrote a baldfaced lie in his report saying my house is vermin infested and that rats ate the cash. He added that the jewelry was "misplaced" and no burglary happened. As far as the broken door, the detective wrote that it was just vandalism. My police friends told me to leave them out of it and that the police bosses want to "kill crime".
This teenage burglar is beyond hope. He's constantly in trouble. What can I do to have the police take appropriate action and lock up this gangbanger?
I will not involve my police friends . They told me that the police bosses would retaliate against them if they got involved.
Please help.
