We've often heard people describe themselves as well paid garbage collectors taking out the trash. Looks like the Vanecko Plastic Receptacle Company has a new over-paid contract to fill.

Everyone wants to laugh and make jokes, but CAPS is serious business. Look at the poor guy from 025 CAPS office. He refused to sweep up by Lockwood and Crystal. The Cmdr heard about his disobedience and forced him to fight an attack dog with only half a protective suit. I think he's still looking for a plastic surgeon willing to take on the tasking of fixing his injuries.
Consider yourselves fortunate to be in patrol with 2 personals and a 30min lunch. In CAPS you get 2 brooms and a garbage pail...or else you get the hell hound.
FOP should list every name , unit of assignment , watch , hours worked of all Police Officers that are not assigned to a District Beat or Tactical assignment
good guess would be more people assigned to second watch working inside a district , CPS school ,police headquarters , ERPS , Crime LAB , Narcotics ,COURT SECTION ,and other hidden units
Those officers who cleaned that alley HAVE NO SELF RESPECT., they should have told that Sgt to piss off and ask to go back on the watch
My street is clean, everyone on the block takes care of the area in front of their house. Then again, we don't throw shit in the street and pick up the stray piece of paper and the garbage from the nearby Wendy's and McD's tossed from cars.
Many segments of society have no sense of respect for anybody or anything and it shows by how those areas look

Call me anything you want I don't care one but. I've done 19 years on the street. I played the unit and tac game and now I did all I could to get in the caps office. It's all BS here but don't care. Pay me same as the hard charges, I get between 20-40 hours OT a period and life is good. Now go get those heads, Isrs and hump all day on that beat car.. yeah, I'm the dumb one though.
Does that garbage can dispense yellow O.T. slips...... the CAPS officers are always "earning" OT.

I remember not too long ago SCC posted the obituary of a police officer that worked in the decoy unit in the 1970's. He would dress up as Superman and would hide until the bad guys tried robbing a fellow decoy officer posing as a piss bum.
Now we can have an 011th district Ranger, dressed up as Oscar the Grouch, hiding in a garbage can with a rifle!

I always thought that both schools of thought and work ethics were retarded. Congratulations! You sound like you have spent your entire career being twice as dumb compared to most officers on this job. Nothing wrong with working a beat car and just handling assigned jobs. Any boss that tells me to bring them anything gets told to fuck themselves. What pussy district do you work in?
If those little perks that you brag about make it worth being around exempt members, then have fun buddy. Out of the 13 commanders and the various CAPS sgts I've met during my time on this job, I wouldn't want to talk to any of them for more then two minutes, much less be their 'Jam Boy.' Why am I wasting my time telling you for? You already admitted to playing the dope/numbers game. Keep on playing sucker
