Frozen
- Kenneka Jenkins, the 19-year-old Chicago woman found dead in a hotel freezer in northwest suburban Rosemont last month, died of hypothermia, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Her death was ruled an accident. Alcohol and topiramate intoxication — a prescription drug used to treat epilepsy — were listed as contributing factors, according to the medical examiner’s office. Jenkins’ family said she was not prescribed topiramate.
Her blood alcohol level was 0.112, according to the medical examiner’s office. Tests for “date rape” drugs, such as Rohypnol and ketamine, were conducted. Those tests came back negative.
So now the questions that ought to be answered:
- Who used the stolen credit card for the hotel room?
- Who supplied the liquor to underaged party-goers?
- Who supplied prescription drugs to the deceased?
- How much money did Jedidiah Brown misappropriate in the name of a dead girl?

Underage, .112 BAC, a drug in her system for which she doesn’t have a prescription, room rented with a stolen card, from the west side but partying in Rosemont, and her mother didn’t know where she was, until her friends returned with the car the next morning...all equals the police are wrong.

topiramate is contraindicated with alcohol and marijuana... Already makes you dizzy and drowsy by itself, adding booze and weed makes it even more so.
But you know underaged bimbos skanking out at hotel parties.... It was only a matter of time before she turned up dead somewhere.... still, another great "shut it down! No justice, no peace! faux protest" that turned out to be an epic farce. Just like Ferguson, the new york loosie salesman, trayvone... and more.
Wonder if the Hotel will ask for their funeral money back? And what'd the protesters rake in? Are they going to return the money too? How about apologizing to everyone they inconvenienced when they illegally blocked traffic? Wouldn't it be great if one of them were to sue those POS protesters to recoup some losses incurred by the unlawful restraint?
A sad tragedy. Too bad no one was able to save her from her own stupid actions.
Her only chance would have been if her irresponsible friends had actually shown some responsibility and watched over her. Her friends abandoned her. They could not be troubled to keep track of her, or find her when she was missing.

No shit, a friend of mine got busted using a stolen credit card for a hotel room. The cops stormed the room like he was a fucking terrorist. He ended up with 6.5 months in county fighting the case, 3,000.00 fine and two years probation. I get that. So why are these kids getting a fucking pass on this? Do the crime, do the time. And oh by the way this was 15 years ago and he still cannot get a job in his name.

Her uncle Melvin Martin (mom’s brother) was the subject of a Sun Times story several years ago which documented how he used the internet to track his gang banger enemies. Maybe he will assist in “locating” those who have “wronged” his niece. I would guess the death associated with this is not over yet!
Now that all the money making antics are over, a complete investigation can be finished.

The founding pastor of a West Side church has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for defrauding a food program for low-income children.
Robbie Wilkerson, 50, pleaded guilty in May to wire fraud and money laundering, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice. He was sentenced Friday to 37 months in prison and ordered to pay $440,964 in restitution.

Robbie Wilkerson was the founding pastor of New Birth Christian Center, a non-denominational church at 5335 W. Le Moyne St. in the Austin neighborhood, prosecutors said. Between 2008 and 2010, the church operated a summer food program to provide meals to low-income students when schools were not in session.
Robbie Wilkerson admitted in court that he submitted about $714,000 in false or fraudulent claims to the Illinois State Board of Education, more than $250,000 above the budgeted cost of the program, prosecutors said. The claims indicated that the program provided about 267,000 meals to low-income children, when it actually served fewer than 100,000 meals.

Here's a little tidbit. The girl who used the stolen credit card to purchase the room is on home monitoring and currently listed as wanted for home monitoring violations (imagine that). So if she was still behind bars, the other girl would be alive today. Mom, get a good lawyer and give it a roll. I'm sure will settle quietly out of court.

I think you ignored the part about the other drugs skippy. Sometimes drugs mixed with alcohol are a deadly combination.
It will be waste of "The Shakedown Team's" legal resources to even try to file a case on this because they won't find sympathy from a jury given these facts:
1. People stealing hotel room with stolen credit card also removes any claim they were "invited."
2. Girl was underage drinking and using an illegal prescription.
3. She was in a place she was not allowed to be in that is for employees only.
4. Rosemont Police testifying about the obstruction they encountered during the investigation.
5. Video of the Shakedown Squad at the hotel.
6. Fact her "friends" abandoned her when a real friend would not have left her alone in that condition.
She is still a kid, and a daughter, GOD BLESS her ,get the stretcher kid, straight to Heaven for her. Ret Wagonman.
