- During the week of February 5, 2018 National Black Lives Matter at School Week will be observed in cities around the country. The Chicago Teachers Union House of Delegates voted unanimously to join National Black Lives Matter at School Week at its January 10, 2018 meeting.
The CTU supporting an organization founded on a series of lies which has advocated for the killing of police officers.

According to a wttw article on the CTU 2016 contract vote, their house of delegates comprises of over 800 members. 800 members of the CTU voted UNANIMOUSLY to teach children the positives of a domestic terror group. Fuck the CTU. Fuck any teacher who agrees with this. Fuck any teacher who even grudgingly follows through. First it was the cries of fuck the police at one of their rallies, then it's the block of teaching concerning the false narrative about Burge, and now this shit. SCC. I know there’s the actual curriculum out there that’s available for parents to see. It must be posted here. Now normally any pro human rights group teachings would be welcome at any school. But this particular group is predicated on a narrative belief about police brutality towards people of color. A narrative highly fuled by the media. That distinction is critical to observe in regards to BLM because the CTU will try paint them as a human rights organization for all peoples. And that is just misleading. In the same manner in which any group who has ties however nominal they may be to racial slurs or offensive language is exposed and not allowed for school material so must this group be exposed. There are several recorded incidents that show that this group has a hidden agnenda. During a CTU rally a member of the BLM shouted into a microphone “ fuck tha police”. In other instances signs that read “pigs fry like bacon” were held by BLM
Activists. This should not go down without a fight. These are our children that were taking about and schools to which WE pay taxes for.

Watching the State of the Union Address tonight was confirmation of just how anti-American the democrats are.
Honorable mentions go to Nancy Pelosi and two of our very own homegrown assholes Durbin and Gutierez for their reactions, facial expressions and body language to President Trump's speech. Like children being told "no", they contorted their ugly mugs and winced throughout the hour and twenty minute presentation.
Members of the "Black Caucus", most donning colors of the homeland, were especially entertaining to watch. It seems that they're still exceptionally bitter that a white Republican has succeeded their Chocolate Messiah, regardless of the fact he was little more than eight years of empty promises and divisiveness, doing nothing for "his people". One and all, they looked absolutely pained to be there, and just exuded "hate" every time the camera was trained on their section.
And at the conclusion, you'd have thought someone yelled "Fire"! the way the democrats fled the chambers. Utterly disgusting display by the equivalent of petulant teenagers.
Which is why I laughed, smiled and cheered throughout the Address. Thank you, Mr. President, for being a man of your word and campaign promises.

My other half is a CTU delegate, something that anyone who really knows us would find mind-boggling and hilarious. The meetings are ridiculous. And this “unanimous” vote was a voice vote, calling out “aye” or “nay.” Trust me, nobody was going to yell out a “nay” unless they wanted problems with their car or their person in the parking lot later. A secret ballot vote would have been far more honest. And yes, it would be great if the public could actually see the curriculum. Also, we have police in our family who we love dearly, our kids are not in CPS, and we’re looking for an exit strategy from Illinois.

Please keep in mind that teachers only pay around two percent of their pay for pension contributions while all other city employees pay nine percent. Good post. Seriously, if Trump found a cure for cancer and it had to be voted on, the democrats would vote against it just for spite. She needs to keep her politics to her own time and stop using her position to grandstand. I don't think most teachers are anti-cop, but the vocal minority are the ones who make the noise while the rest of us are just trying to teach. FWIW, many of my students want to become police, so there must be some respect there, despite all the negativity. I do what I can to keep things balanced.
