Nice Mass Shootings Rahm

Here are a few paragraphs from a Tribune article that appeared early this morning:

• The 14-year-old girl was shot in the chest, arm and abdomen and was in critical condition at Stroger Hospital. The 15-year-old girl was shot in the thigh and was in good condition at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital. The 5-year-old was shot in the arm and was also taken to Stroger and stabilized.
  
  Of the adults and teen, the woman was shot in the chest and arm and was in serious condition at Mount Sinai Hospital. The 17-year-old was shot in the foot and was in good condition at Stroger. The man was shot in the thigh and was also in good condition at the same hospital.
  
  The shooting is at least the sixth in about two weeks during which four or more people were shot in one attack.
  
  At the scene on Walnut, shell casings were scattered across the intersection of Walnut and Homan Avenue. A crowd of at least a dozen teenagers or young adults gathered at the scene, sitting on porches or standing in groups on the sidewalk.

The Tribune has developed a bad habit of late - they alter and rewrite entire articles hours after they've been published with nary a mention nor attribution that the article you're reading at dinner time isn't the article that appeared at breakfast. It's obvious to anyone paying attention that they are caving to outside pressure, most likely from City Hall spin masters.

Readers have probably heard the entirely bullshit about dozens of school shootings in 2018, where every single incident within line-of-sight of a school is counted, including suicides on/near school property, negligent discharges, and even aggravated batteries at 0100 hours are counted as "school shootings."

And here we have a major newspaper - the Chicago Tribune - reporting SIX mass shootings (using the most liberal definition) in a span of about TWO WEEKS, and not a chirp from Rahm, the alderassholes, national media outlets, or a single anti-gun activist. Why is that?
