Regarding the death of an off-duty officer who was killed by a reckless driver on the expressway:
- Hello SCC,
Thank you so much for sharing the news link and story about fallen Officer Tito Rodriguez’s failed case and plea deal Kim Foxx’s office was offering the shit head. The FOP has created this petition for the judge to overturn the plea deal and bring this case to trial. Can you please share the letter from the FOP and the signature sheet with your readers? Any and all signature sheets will help out as his family and FOP are looking to get 6,000 signatures to present to the judge on December 4th as this is the final court date. I will be presenting it to my District Commander today in hopes that it can be presented in roll call for the next few days. I ask that any signature sheets be turned into the FOP. Signatures are not limited to officers as the general public can sign this petition as well. Although, I believe their may be an Illinois residency requirement. Thanks again for all that you do and keeping our members and your readers up to date with what’s going on.

We don't know if Unit Reps are circulating this or what, but here's a version you should be able to print out and have at the desk. Completed sheets can be mailed to the FOP via Department Mail (click for larger versions):

Liberals like Kimisha Foxx complain about how the legal system is unfair to minorities and here she is trying to balance the scales of justice by making decisions in which any officer is either a victim or offfender. The liberals are getting the world that they desire with increases in violence, death and more then have the balls to blame other factors.. WE NEED TO VOTE MS. FOXX OUT OF OFFICE so that she can take her BS act elsewhere.

Good luck with that. Not expecting much because I’ve seen an on duty PO killed responding to a call. They guy that caused the crash was revoked, no insurance and left the scene. A few months in county and a few years probation was it. Don’t rush to get anywhere,don’t do anything more than the minimum.

Troopers Lodge 41 endorsed the BLM police hater JB also. WTF is the matter with these clowns? No FOP lodge in Illinois should ever endorse a Governor but if they feel they really have to, don't do a police hating, BLM lover, liberal turd like that asshole.

NOTE TO GARFIELD RIDGE POLICE OFFICERS AND SUPERVISORS. Overheard in a conversation was Madigan's people laughing because a certain alderman (hand-picked by Madigan and selected by Rahm Emanuel to replace Zalewski) is receiving police votes because she put in SPEED BUMPS! We're getting laughed at because we're happy we have speed bumps! GOOD GRIEF! The state's devastated by businesses moving or closing and so is the city. Take a look at Archer Avenue. The only thriving business on Archer Avenue is the alleged brothel at Archer and Neva doing business as the Rainbow Motel. New England Pharmacy announced they're closing-they're joining the other other businesses that closed or moved out of the neighborhood. Keep voting in the Madigan candidate-you're guaranteed SPEED BUMPS!
If voters are dumb enough to vote for a Madigan candidate because speed bumps were put in, you deserve the economic devastation caused by Madigan and his cronies.
Garfield Ridge isn't alone. Take a look at 111th Street and Western Avenue in Mt. Greenwood. The only thriving businesses are bars. You call this economic development?
Give the 19th and 23rd Ward aldermen a call and ask if they'll PUBLICLY express outrage.
We have a mayoral and aldermanic race going and so far, there's only three alderman backing the coppers. Graham at FOP is speaking out, but real change isn't going to happen until individual coppers call their alderman.

OT... Sergeants Lieutenants and Captains are furious at PBPA! They dropped the ball!
This afternoon I received the Arbitrator award from our attorney regarding our grievance and arbitration award for the
the Me-Too Wage Increase. The Arbitrator award reads as such, "Grievance is barred by the Perkovich award. None of the grievances was timely filed. All are procedurally inarbitrable and dismissed on that basis." The arbitrator dismissed the grievances of the Captains, Lieutenants, and Sergeants as they were all argued in the same arbitration. The arbitrator further stated "Given the obvious desire of all parties to maintain wage parity, I expect the matter will be addressed in the apparently ongoing contract negotiations."
To say that this award is disappointing would be a major understatement. This arbitrator failed to follow past practice of applying one award granted to all unions. I cannot express to you my displeasure at this time. Like all of you I had expected that we would prevail in this arbitration. This award allows the city breathing room for issuing wage increases which will now have to be done retroactively at the conclusion of contract negotiations. I do apologize for the outcome of this matter. Please, rest assured we will continue to fight for our contractual rights. The battle is not yet over. Thank you for all that you do, be safe, and remember, take care of each other.

Did you see the miscarriage of justice he performed or lack thereof while representing JVD. I thought he worked for the damn prosecution! Unbelievable! Especially having been a p.o.
Does anyone really believe a Chicago judge will pay attention to anything the police have to Say? Dreaming if you believe that. Better wake and face reality, the last election should have proved to you that your days are numbered. BLM LOVER in charge of justice system, FAT CAT. Police hater in charge of state. Massive tax increases are only months away and that raise your bargaining for already gone, and then some with those tax and fee increases. So your worried about one small trial that you have no control over. But the good news is it is not to late for you to find and get behind that candidate that you believe will do you the least harm. Have FOP INVITE ALL TO A DEBATE SPONSORED BY THE FOP. REMEMBER YOUR VOTING BLOCK IS OVER 40,000 votes when counting family backing. If you were smart you would reach out to CPD and get them on board now collectively you cannot be ignored.
How about the FOP send out a questioner out to all candidates about where the stand on things that matter to police well Being? Publish the answers for all to see. Let them know that failure to respond will insure you 2ill work actively against them.

So let's say that your personal drive works. What happens is there a trial and he is foubd guilty. Do you really believe there will be any real penalty worth fighting for. Think about the family sitting thru trial and seeing a slap on the hand given for taking officers life. Is it really worth it to put the family thru It? NOTHING DONE TO ACCUSED WILL EVER BRING BACK THE OFFICER. Best advice from someone who has gone thru it is move on.
Is the FOP going to hold a press conference on this?
