- A document filed with the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners on Friday shows mayoral candidate Ja’Mal Green is withdrawing his name from the ballot, though he insisted on Saturday he’s still in the race as a write-in.
The withdrawal form with Green’s signature was notarized by a registered Illinois notary public on Wednesday.
But the community activist on Saturday said he is still in the race for the Feb. 26 election, adding that he has registered as a write-in candidate.
Which means his chances have dropped to something below zero.

Where'd the money go?
1-(Insert name here) needed bond money.
2-His (insert relationship here) got pregnant.
3-The robbers at (insert name here) bank would not help him.
4-(Insert relationship here) needed money for the water bill.
5-Going to the (insert the name of the club here) is expensive.
6-His (insert relationship here) needed that surgery.
7-He had to make a car payment. Actually, several of them.

Toni Preckwinkle has turned crook county into a county that really works for crooks. The entire criminal justice system in crook county just goes after Police Officers and lets the criminals go. FOP needs to endorse Gary McCarthy because he is the only chance the citizens of Chicago have to turn the tide. Preckwinkle represents evil and McCarthy represents Law & Order or GOOD. Simple as that. FOP by not endorsing McCarthy will provide Preckwinkle with a win and when she starts appointing civilian District Commanders FOP will wonder, How did this happen?????? Message to the FOP, whatever she promised you for no endorsement, is a LIE and she will stick it in every coppers ass if she is elected.
