Fuck Crimesha Foxxx

Once again, cops cannot ever be the victim:
  • December 3rd, 2018 in room 207 at the criminal courts building case #17CR11014 was being adjudicated and heard. A 007th district Sergeant was working in an undercover capacity when the defendant pulled up next to the UCV and brandished a handgun. Furthermore, this defendant, a 58 year old radiology tech from a Chicago hospital, and FOID/CCL holder, while driving under the influence menaced the UCO by feigning to rack the gun and then tap on his (defendant's) driver window to menace and intimidate the UCO.

Defendant was charged in 2017 with Aggravated UUW and DUI for the incident. The defendant gave several admissions including, "I was busy listening to rap music and out of impulse pulled the gun out and I brandished it, I flashed it like a new pair of shoes." However, the court would never hear this evidence because despite a jury trial set to begin on this day, Cook County ASAs assigned to room 207 deliberately went against the victim's wishes. The sergeant would not agree to have this defendant's case plead down to a misdemeanor.

Unconcerned with the wishes of the victim sergeant, the state did just that. The defendant was plead down to two class A misdemeanors. When the sergeant requested to speak on record to oppose the agreement, he was denied and silenced. With the victim sergeant in the court room, the defendant apologized to the court but not the sergeant. Judge Byrne appearing shocked at the agreement after the ASA read into record the facts of the case, and still throughout it all, no acknowledgment was made to the victim sergeant and was clearly wished away by all court personnel, including the Cook County Sheriff who rudely and with disdain cut the sergeant off before he could finish asking his question in regards to speaking to the judge about this miscarriage of justice and having his voice heard.

The victim sergeant, a 23 year veteran, was treated with disrespect and scorn. The ASAs in providing an explanation for the decision, clearly held the victim sergeant in contempt for his sincere frustration and then exasperated it when they attempted to validate their position with arguments more commonly used by the Public defender’s office. And in the end even the defendant's private counsel knew something was afoul as they could hardly mask their disbelief and yes, shame as they walked past the decorated victim sergeant, knowing that they pulled one off and got their client an early Christmas gift.
Nice job Cook County States Attorneys. You are truly assholes among a county office full of assholes.

And officers will still go out on the street and put themselves on the line for this city lol. I used to not criticize officers who wanted to work but in light of how the courts have been and how this job has drastically changed over the past 5 years I have no shame in calling them complete idiots. If shit like this doesn’t wake you the fuck up what will?!

The Cook Co. SA's are essentially low I.Q. hacks that
barely made it through Law School and gravitated towards
banker's hours with weekends off. These were the Belushi's
of Law School, drinking and smoked up at the frat house.
Worse yet, their peers know this and have nothing but hatred
for them. No career ambition to make partner at a traditional
firm, they seek out the sick days and government holidays
benefits. Unmotivated hacks working on an hourly basis
instead of a cut of profits and upward mobility.

I was on the job in the 80's and the ASA's were bad then but they would "NEVER" go against a cop let alone a Sergeant who was a victim of a crime!!! There is a reasonable solution to this modern day problem that was used from time to time over the years. When you have the level of bullshit occurring day in and day out by these ASA-HOLES what needs to be done is strict enforcement of all traffic infractions that these ASA-HOLES commit....They might throw 1 or 2 out but there is then a paper record that will never go away and coppers went to jail for fixing tickets on more than one occasion. What, at this point, do you have to lose???
Also lets them know that you know they are ASA-HOLES and with any luck you will have an ASA-HOLE who escalates the matter and then maybe the message will really hit home and FUXITUP will be forced to do something hopefully that puts her tit, aw shit, her whole fucking melon head in the ringer!!!

Years ago we had a very good relationship with most of the ASAs. We would go out of our way for them and they would do the same for us. We would socialize with them. I have already been rejected by one prospective employer due to the large number of complaints I’ve received over the years. That was back when I was told, “If you ain’t gettin CRs you ain’t the workin police.” Times have changed.

Stay safe. Go home to your families. Do NO proactive police work. Those slimy fuckin ASAs will stick it up your ass and break it off the first chance they get. So what else is new? Checking out CWBChicago blog there are articles almost everyday about offenders on parole, probation, EM gettng arrested and re-arrested for serious crimes and let go on the famous "recognizance bond". CWB covers a large area of very liberal citizens and although it's probably not read by many the news published must eventually make some rumblings in the community. CWB shows what a total failure the justice system in Cook County is. Yet, Foxx, Prickwinkle, Dart and every democrat running gets 90% of the vote. Its like the entire chicken coop voting for the hawk to be the mayor. Voters get what they want. The staying fetal attitude is probably the best move. Hoping and praying these coppers are not "sacrificed" alos, where are e bosses. Funny how the emails bounced everywhere to high levels of CPD and they agreed that the shooting was justified, but then the "bosses" retired after stories changed, but yet they were not compelled to testify, and could not be called in JVD trial hmm something stinks here and it is not the shit pits!

Let’s not make the same mistake In the mayoral primary/election. Look at all the candidates and vote for the person that will be best for us, and that is not necessarily the person endorsed by FOP. Remember, they endorsed Lisa Madigan at least twice. I have my ideas, but I will keep that to myself for now. I know who I would never vote for, (Preckwinkle, and Lightfoot are two, and it may come down to the lesser of two evils). Believe it or not, we and our families have political power, when I see people on this site complain, I wonder if they and their loved ones bothered to vote. in a primary with numerous candidates we can possibly make a difference.

Three offenders drive to Bridgeport in a car taken in a carjacking at which time it breaks down. They go on the hunt for another victim. The State of IL renders assistance and pushes their vehicle to a parking place. They choose a retired 71 year old police officer parking his car. Bad move. After hiding and jumping out from behind a nearby parked car, the armed offender runs at the retiree pointing his weapon and stating Im going to blow your head off. Retiree reacts and is able to fire a single shot at offender #1 striking him in the chest killing him. Offender #2, who was several feet behind offender #1 is ordered to get on the ground while offender #3 flees discarding clothing. Offender #3 captured and positively identified in a show up 10 mins later. Charges against OFF#2 and OFF#3 dropped. Released without charging. It is a fundamental right of any victim to give a victim impact statement in court. THere is no lawful reason for the judge to deny this even though the victim is a police officer. Why do we as a civilized society continue to accept this behavior from our public officials such as Fox and whatever the judges name was? There are many causes that we choose not to fight and "just let it go". This is not one of them. This has to to stop. This can no longer be acceptable and this is a battle worth fighting in the long run. This idiot Fox must know that we as police officers and more importantly as citizens of this state will no longer allow a public official to not do their job as they were elected to do. I know what I'm going to do. If all of us who participated as in staying fetal, add absolutely no professional courtesy to any ASA who is a Cook County States Attorney, such as tickets for speeding etc... Felony Review, give then just enough to reject felony charges, stop making arrest when you can. On reports, only give minimal information, making it easy for a Dick to suspend Class 1 Felony's, thereby making the crime stats go through the roof. Give Kimmy's people what they want, nothing. Most coppers don't understand, the States Attorney's Office need us more then we need them. When they see the court rooms empty and no one to prosecute or plea out, then you'll see the State Attorney's Office start to scramble. Judges will be effected with the entire Cook County System and the high crime rate will drive the Politicians crazy. We hold most of the cards in this game their playing, so lets use everything we have to our advantage.

What's the point anymore? Criminals know there are no consequences for their actions. Victims know they won't get their day in court. Until Joe or Josephine Citizen starts capping these animals, nothing will stop this digusting crime trend. This city is lost.

Remember the old saying: "Dead men tell no tales" [to refute yours].

Next time, forget the arrest - shoot the mutherfucker. And since he may have friends, take about 10 minutes to clear the scene. If he happens to expire during that scene clearing time, that's his fault...

Enough with this nonsense - States Atty doesn't want to do her job? Wants to coddle criminals? Ok fine. Criminals sometimes get shot, sometimes die while 'working'... Guess the "Restorative Justice" morons would rather have that than ole boy cuffed up.

On the other hand, had the offender been white and the victim wished the charges be reduced to misdemeanors the States Attorneys would not do it and would have prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Don't think so, happens everyday in court.

OMG I am a former Sheriff deputy from Johnson County Texas, and reading this blog makes me accept the offer to come on the job from CPD when I moved here 8 years ago. I feel so sorry seeing what you all have to go thru on a daily basis just to do the job you all are paid for, and not only the bs you all have to deal with but to be worried about being charged with some bs criminal charge for doing your jobs. I recently moved to the McHenry county area and am so much happier being out of Cook county, oops I mean CROOK county. I wish you all nothing but the best and stay safe, protect your partner and go home safe at night.... it seems like that is what the great citizens of Chicago want, so give them it. do nothing but answer radio calls and take your time getting there to be safe and uninvolved in what may go down. Your and your partners safety is more important than doing proactive police work in Chicago.

I really don’t give a damn about my job anymore. This place ain’t nuthin but a paycheck to me. Eighteen years and thank God I’m in the D Unit. I’m basically a house mouse now. I miss the days of runnin and gunnin, doing dope surveillance from the abandos, and joy in my work. I’m trying to find my way with another job / different career, but my CRs haunt my applications.

I smile and am polite when I interact with em but I’m wary of each and every one. Make no mistake. They are your enemy and should not be trusted. EVER.

These two people are Preckwinkle cronies and were part of Kim Foxx’s Transition team. They cozy up to Lori Lightfoot who gets them hired when she still had juice with Rahm. Once Lori announces there days look numbered but now they back in business!!! They have taken over 1/3 of the 5th floor with enough civilian deputy directors and project managers you could budget a whole district and they don’t do a thing! look what's going on with retired detective March. The dets should grow some balls and have the sergeants and or lieutenants calling felony review for approval. That way the bosses are sure to know what is involved with the investigation and to ensure that all department rules and regs are followed and that the state law is followed too. The lead detectives should be sergeants each homicide should be assigned to a sergeant who should have a least 6-8 detectives on his squad and together they can maybe complete all the steps of the investigative process and maybe even clear the homicide.

Well, seems to me that the defendant in this case was overcharged with a felony. He had a valid FOID and CCL and never actually pointed the gun at the “victim”. I’m sure that’s not what was related to felony review when the case was originally called in. Looks like the “victim” was a victim of seeing a person with a gun. Since the only basis of the felony charges was the aggravated assault, and there was actually no assault, the misdemeanor was the correct outcome.

Of course you would come to this conclusion madam ASA because you are either the same ASA who rendered the decision in the first place or of equal bias and ignorance. The defendant tapped on the window with the gun to intimidate the victim, tapping with the barrel of the gun pointed in direction of the victim. How that doesn’t fit the elements of an Aggravated Assault is beyond common sense. The victim clearly and reasonably was in fear of being shot. But you go ahead and maintain your bias and belief that the police sergeant made it all up when calling Felony Review for approval. Keep validating and justifying your position based on your unfactual theory of what occurred. You’re a complete asshat.

Late to the party and going solely off what’s in the post - it’s beyond evident there’s no felony charge here whatsoever and, like it or not, a felony charge never should have been approved in the first place. Don’t like it? Change the law.

- He had a valid FOID and CCL, so that eliminates the aggravated UUW.

- The post makes no mention of a felony aggravated assault charge being brought nor could one under the facts given. If sarge wanted the misdemeanor he should have signed a complaint.

- There’s no such thing as a “victim” to an aggravated UUW or DUI.

SCC, you can bitch and moan all you want about Kim Foxx, but this post and and the ignorance it spews toward hard-working line prosecutors is baseless disingenuous bullshit. It’s pretty clear you blindly hate all them but I can tell you without a doubt that the feeling is NOT mutual. Every single prosecutor I’ve ever worked with has had nothing but respect for law enforcement. You may want to consider getting off your soapbox so that you can show them the same.

12:29 Go back to law school flunky, the ignorance is spewed by you, felony aggravated assault charge is not necessary. When a person threatens another with a gun it makes no difference if he has a FOID or CCL. The “victim” is a victim of a misdemeanor aggravated assault, just like the law states. But I get it in Cook County, the ASAs get to define it for themselves and pick and choose what they want to prosecute.
(720 ILCS 5/24-1.6)
Sec. 24-1.6. Aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
(a) A person commits the offense of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon when he or she knowingly:

(2) Carries or possesses on or about his or her

I used to think that when charges against a suspect were dropped, or reduced, that the cops who made the arrest didn’t give a shit. I’ve come to realize that although some cops may not care after years of working in a failing system, most are frustrated by the state of affairs at district attorney’s offices across the country.

LEO’s have, in my estimation, an emotionally taxing job that is rewarded by scorn on both sides of almost every situation they’re involved in.

Situations such as this one are not the fault of law-enforcement officers, at least not directly, but rather the communities that refuse to punish their elected officials by replacing them.

The greatest fault of law-enforcement at large seems to be the same in almost every situation; they are terrible at explaining themselves in a way that doesn’t simultaneously come across as aggressive and defensive.

The number one reason I follow law-enforcement blogs and websites is because, without doing so, I have no way of understanding their worldview since I will never find myself in the situations that they do.
