It is quite obvious that chicago is prospering through many venues but the powers that be want to manipulate and control the money. It is important that teachers pay 9% into their pension instead of 2% just like fire and police. No one is asking the teachers to make a sacrifice they are being asked to pay their fare share. Fire/Police and everyone make sure you invest in deferred comp and other investment tools to ensure a comfortable retirement and not start buying or leasing a $50,000 car, motorcycle or boat. Invest in your future because it will be here before you know it.

All in all, for the past 4 years PugWrinkles likes to think she’s been running the show, like a Madigroin, but now wants more before all the money is gone.

In Oct 2014, about a month or so petitions were to be filed, Rahm appointed her chief o’staff Kurt Summers (a Harvard edu’macated finance guru - really?) to CityTreasurer. At the time PugNastyWrinkle denied any political shenanigans of her chief leaving Cook Co.
I think her day has come around.
She and Summers have recently been blasting Rahm in the ass over the whole Laqwan spectacle.
All they harp is police reform.
A couple of isolated misfortunate police interactions with armed community maniacs and these people want complete reform and control.
Dozens of Alderthieves and city officials have been indicted and sent to prison but never did they insist on any broad gubmint reforms did they? Not even a peep about her campaign ethics violations with her security chief and the suv.

For the record, Summers replaced Stephany Neely an appointee CPD pension board trustee who replaced Judith Rice, also an appointed CPD pension trustee who voted to give Vanecko-Davis $15mil of that $54m real estate scheme. All 3 were short term “high finance experts” that left abruptly from the City and on to private sector positions. All in the wake of pro-police Miriam Santos. Amazing, huh?
Oh, and don’t leave out Kwamate Ratool as IL AG too, also in the 21st Century fundamentally transformed political spectrum.

But consider also there are red pieces too, which you play by voting Mendoza. By voting Mendoza, you’re also aligned with Pritzker, Rahm and the rest of the other guys who are basically the same. Bill Daley, same, but with more corporate interests pulling strings.
Answer? Introduce your own colored chip and vote for Joyce of Vallas. These are the only two not aligned with anyone of the axis of evil that took over Chicago since 2011.

Chicago will probably end of worse than Detroit once the pols get finished picking it to the bone. At least the US Attorney in Detroit did something about the corruption and put one of their mayors in jail. No chance of that happening in Chicago. Stevie Wonder sees more than the US Attorney in Chicago. Maybe he is waiting for the ILL Attorney General to spring into action with one of their hard charging corruption investigations? They are way too busy protecting Mike M or checking out whether Trump Tower recycles properly to look for any corruption.
Plus Detroit actually had a media that wasn't the official propaganda arm of the Machine and the Detroit residents finally woke up.

SCC always thanks for the great job you do. I am a real estate attorney from Indiana who also practices in Illinois. My area of practice is farm law and I have a number of clients whose families own thousands of acres of farmland in central and southern Illinois. Collectively, this land is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. My clients are generally pissed and feel helpless because they have no effective representation in Springfield and the Democrats in Chicago and Madigan don't give a damn about them. They have no voting power. They are afraid because their wealth is being destroyed through taxes and that there will be less to pass on to their heirs than what they received. These are hardworking people, the doers not the takers. They can't afford to sell and move because the capital gains tax would kill them. If this situation continues, Illinois is heading for a new civil war.

For the record, 45th Ward Dem Committeeman/alderman Arena & 38th Ward Dem Committeeman/State Rep (19)Martwick are all in for Preckwinkle for mayor. 41st Ward residents need to ask Dem Committeeman/candidate for alderman Tim Heneghan who his organization is supporting. Preckwinkle is behind Arena's push for subsidized housing in the 45th ward. Consider this when choosing who to vote for.
