Bad evening in Philly, but it could have been much worse:
- At least one gunman opened fire on police Wednesday as they were serving a warrant in a Philadelphia neighborhood, wounding six officers and triggering a standoff that extended into the evening, authorities said.
None of the officers' injuries were considered life-threatening, Philadelphia police Sgt. Eric Gripp said. They were being treated at hospitals.
The shooting began around 4:30 p.m. as officers went to a home in Nicetown, a north Philadelphia neighborhood of brick and stone rowhomes. Shots were still being fired three hours later, police said.
Reports say it was a Search Warrant gone very badly. Thankfully, at last report, no officers were killed.

Hopefully none of the coppers received any life altering wounds that incapacitate them for more than a short while, With that said, recover, take your time and do your physical therapy and come back when you're healed.
Next, cue up these loathsome democrat politicians running for president and their shameless grab to undo the 2nd amendment. Kamala Harris chimed in even as the confrontation was unfolding, claiming something like with her plan, this wouldn't happen. Their plan is to always restrict the rights of the innocent and coddle the guilty.
While one woman was praising the officer for their efforts, the crowds were doing their usual we hate the cops bit.
Two women and two children were escorted by SWAT and Philadelphia Police from the scene. They told CBS3 that they were inside the home on the second floor at the time of the shootout and that police saved them. “I thank God for these cops,” one woman said. But the MSM, politicians and so called activists won't remember that. In fact racist Kamala Harris was pointing blame at everyone but the drug dealer offender after it just started.

I listened to most all of it on broadcastify. And the scumbag was live streaming at least part of it on fb. How long did it take fb to get that stopped I wonder? Lucky the two officers got out OK. He came out after some lawyer showed up. Pity they didn't kill him but if they had then there would have been riots. Then the entire thing would have all been the cops fault rather than the criminal selling drugs.

with from Philly, he said as of a couple hours ago, shooter was taken into custody.
He also said all six wounded LEOS
have been released from the hospital.

Thankfully no one was killed.

The gunman surrendered finally.
It was reported as well that, the authorities had to order the news media to remove their helicopters from the area because the offender was watching their live feeds which was showing the location(s) of the Philly Officers. (he knew where to shoot to injure officers)
How come the media isn't calling this a "mass shooting?"
Did anyone notice how many democrat affiliated politicians both local and national were concerned for the police? Law enforcement, that same profession that is implicitly biased, practices racial profiling and enforcing those drug laws written by politicians incarcerating people for "recreational" amounts of controlled substances.
Everyday the police are evil is the battle cry for elected officials. But today to advance gun control initiatives, democrat identified politicians have selective amnesia just this one day since the police are useful props for those tearing politicians expressing concern for the men and women in blue in that uphill legislative fight to confiscate firearms and abolish the Second Amendment.
And video from the scene shows the lovely “community” taunting officers and throwing objects at them as they respond. Any talks of “shattered bridges”? How about “community reform”?? “Restorative community behavior”??? Anyone being held accountable?? Will this serve as the basis for explaining away police misconduct directed towards the “community” .... you know, “well given the history of mistrust no wonder the police did that”??? I was pleased to see a follow up article about the 2 women and 2 girls rescued by police from the house. They again used a quote from one of the women saying, "I thank God for these cops. They’re good people. Don’t say nothing bad about them, they kept us safe the whole time,” one of the women told CBS3. I can't see any station in Chicago doing this kind of follow up article.
