More Accountability?

- Add Tina Skahill and Gloria Hannah to the list. Did Tina order investigators to change a SUSTAINED RULE 14 VIOLATION against Hannah for ordering officers to falsify the time and date of an arrest on New Year’s Eve from 30 pending now to a reprimand? Tina thinks discipline procedures are meant for blue shirts? Lightfoot doesn’t agree with that.
Skahill was among the most incompetent bosses we ever ran across and her tenure everywhere was marked with lawsuits and beefs for making up her own rules as she goes along. We can only hope this is true.

A nice consolation would be to brick all those involved in the Lt. cheating investigation, those who were involved, covered for, and made it go away. I’ve never won at a casino or been a betting person, but I’d imagine there is maybe one degree of separation between these individuals and the ones involved here. It’s like the whole batch is rotten to the core. Or maybe it’s just a bad tree. Anyways, full steam ahead!
Skahill and Hannah = two over-promoted incompetents who think they are smarter than everyone else.
For all the merit promotees: just because you got promoted doesn’t mean that you suddenly became intelligent.
Remember Skahill was Deputy Chief in IAD for a very short time. But could not handle the orders from above!
And Hanna was assigned as a Sgt, during this same time?
The FIX is in and Hanna will get nothing but reprimand.
Just remember there are officers and Sgt that have been terminated for false reports!
They are suing to get jobs back.
But it shows the command staff get caught in misconduct but there is no DISCIPLINE, NONE
Tread lightly. The officers received a slap on the wrist in lieu of a Rule 14. Yes, it would have been nice for the bosses to get hit, but if they do, the patrolmen go down first as always. It doesn't matter if the officers were following an order. The Nuremburg defense won't fly.
What a do nothing political merit hack Skahill was where do they find these idiots?

Was, many years ago.
I have been on this job for almost 3 decades and I have never in my career seen such a bold faced liar and unethical Supt.. This man truly has no shame, he full well knows his wife and the others involved were provided the answers to the test. The data on the possibility of that happening show that. He even went so far as to have his wife obtain a CR# on the Sgt. from 016 who passed the test and scored well enough to be promoted legit, all because the Sgt. himself obtained a CR# on those involved in the cheating scandal. Nothing happens to the Exempts, look at the poor Sgt. from 008 who merely approved a TRR in the JVD case, he is terminated and the others walk away with a pension and land other jobs in the private sector. It truly is a shame that this discipline is not fair and doled out across the board regardless of rank.
That was never a recommendation of 30 days pending. Also, an exempt can only be penalized by violation noted, reprimand or suspension in 7 day increments. The recommendation was a reprimand.
Skahill is a POS.
As an exempt member under FLSA, Gloria cannot get a reprimand as discipline. It's a minimum one week suspension. However, with CPDs track record on labor violations and the general incompetency of upper management, I wouldn't expect anyone to know the law.

The bigger farce here is the fact that Skahill retired from the CPD with a big fat goldbraid pension by being promoted through her connections Then she gets hired back as a civilian making another big fat salary. This happens all the time. Lightfoot should be appalled at this crap and put an end to it. This is the Chicago way and we are all SICK OF IT!

Tina thinks handing out discipline to blue shirts is fun and is often heard saying f#@$'em at meetings. She works hard with her advocate Sgt to lessen not sustained recommendations already approved by the Lts of command personnel. IADs job is to protect the Department from lawsuits by trashing as many cases as possible. Now micro-managing Konow is there to make matters worse.
Lol. Hannah just got promoted.

Well that’s obviously not true, since she JUST GOT PROMOTED TO STREET DEPUTY!
Unbelievable that such a ghetto rat can climb so high. She makes no effort at a professional appearance or demeanor at all, and it’s embarrassing as a Chicago Police Officer that other agencies see her as our best and brightest, and one of our leaders.
She should barely even be a damn PO, let alone hold ANY supervisory rank.
Every time I think “this job is officially dead,” this city finds some new way I’d never thought of to both crush morale, AND to sink the department to a new low.

WRONG. She can get a reprimand but then the next level is suspension in the amount of 7 days, 14 days, etc. Nothing between reprimand and 7. That's what FLSA says.
