Outrage? Protests?
- A gunman opened fire from a street corner in Humboldt Park, wounding a 44-year-old man in the head Saturday night on the West Side.
About 6:20 p.m., the man was eastbound in a vehicle driving his young daughter to a birthday party in the 3800 block of West Grand Avenue when someone on the corner of Grand and North Avers Avenue fired shots to the west, according to Chicago police.
The bullet went through the windshield and struck the 44-year-old man in the head, directly between his eyes, and he was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Just another statistic to gloss over at Accountability Tuesday.

I get sad every time I hear of another shooting; this or others.
Killings and reporting about them are never routine and this highlights the need for the judges and the prosecutors to do their jobs and lock up the bad persons (criminals who kill, not be ambiguous) found in our socitey.
Waiting for the October 1st declaration that homicides, Red Line mayhem, carjackings, wildings and retail thefts for Sept. 2019 are down, down, down!

Horrible...IF INDEED A RANDOM SHOOTING...was the victim actually the target? I'm so jaded I cant be sure by the initial reports. That is a sad fact.
Someone should put up a memorial wall somewhere in the city and post all the names of people killed by violence. Even in an empty lot somewhere. Use plywood and 2x4’s if need be. Go back maybe 4 years. The news channels would cover it. But, let me guess, it would probably violate a city ordinance. Too bad we don’t have a city ordinance outlawing killing each other. How about getting Fader Fluger on the idea?

That jag-off fake priest would love to see his name in the press in a positive light. I think Father Fucker should get his people, er communerty to wood burn each name into the plywood sheets as it would quell the senseless killings for a few hours. When they are done they should mount it on those two by fours right in front of the Fort Fellatio, Home of Gold Star Graft, Greed and general public fuckery so those that work there and maybe Ole Bug Eyes could see it everyday.

OT but related to the headline: for several months now a massive smog cloud has been parked over most of Southeast Asia. You can see this thing from space. Funny how the global warming crew doesn't have much to say about all that air pollution.
This happened a block away from the Grand and Springfield MLDs. Might want to look there.
