Marine Murdered
- Family members say a former Marine who served two tours in Afghanistan was killed in a Chicago subway tunnel Tuesday after he was pushed onto the tracks and struck by a Red Line train. Al Balde and his daughter came to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office Wednesday to identify the body of 27-year-old Mamadou Balde, who was killed Tuesday.
[...] Interim police Superintendent Charlie Beck called it a particularly brutal murder Wednesday, saying there is video of the incident from CTA surveillance cameras but he didn’t want to release any details. “We have some very strong leads on that murder, I expect that we will solve it,” Beck said.
Al Balde calls that good news, but says he can’t help but struggle with encouraging his son to join the military, saying he came back with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after his second tour in 2015.
The Red Line is still out-of-control.

If the offender was a Juvenile I'm sure it's one of the JISC regulars. They get arrested, sometimes detained, and Juv Court let's them out the next day. Thanks Cook county justice system. Lots of blood on your hands.

This is so heartbreaking. This young MAN had lived through much sorrow growing up. His mom died when he was three due to cholera. He tried to improve his life and joined the Marine Corps, courageously serving his country. As an infantryman he completed two tours in Afghanistan, while witnessing many of his friends killed. Thus, he suffered from PTSD and his father from guilt for having encouraged his son to join the military.
May God bless this family as they mourn the loss of their beloved family member. Some Easter they'll be sharing, huh?
I hate these RABID DOGS that did this to him. May they rot in hell. Some crimes/sins are unforgivable and the only remedy is capital punishment. Too bad our "justice system" in Illinois is too weak to carry it out.

I still understand why a restaurant is closed or a tavern with 40 to 50 people in attendance but cta trains can be packed with people by the hundreds, packed in like sardines. I think its racist to allow the poor and homeless to catch covid 19 on them trains.
RIP, Kid. I did four trips to Iraq and three to Afghanistan. It was fairly mild after growing up on the south side. Sure, the volume of fire was much higher at times, but the stupidity and retarded leadership was exactly like Chicago. Civilians died by the bushel and nobody was ever punished.
Blood 🩸 Line. Hollywood should do a remake of the shinning but rather than a ski resort the new film can be shot (no pun intended) from the red line. Of course, Kim Foxx can play herself in the movie.
There's no reason for the red line to be open now. It's a breeding ground for filth and disgust. Disease filled tunnels, vagrant shitbums harboring germs and malice. Rarely used for it's intended purpose even before the pandemic, it serves the general public no good. They have the perfect opportunity and excuse to close it down now and save lives and people's wellbeing at least for a little while. Unfortunately, the little rascals would have no way to come downtown and carjack people then, and that'd just be racist.
How come the LaQuan McDonald Video was played tens of thousands of times but this video isn't seen by the public?

Where is the news media? Why are we not able to watch the video on the news? If it was a policeman who shot someone while defending his life it would be painted in a bad light by the media and played hundreds of times to try to stir up some racial angst. Why are they covering this one up? Is it the “code of silence” within the media again that refuses to show just how violent a certain demographic of people really are?

CTA is outraged and demands security company fire the two security guards involved because the CTA is committed to the safety of it’s passengers. Interesting because the 16 year old was with the two people that killed the former Marine on Tuesday by pushing him in front of moving CTA train. She is also wanted for a beating and robbery on the subway.

It would be great to see 200 old Nam veteran Marines run the city from Michigan and Congress South and then go west of Western Ave from Roosevelt. In one week the brave and fearless will take back the city, the trash will disappear from city to wherever scum go too.
