Four Years, Nine Months
For holding back a crowd (warning - CNN link - click at your own risk):
Tou Thao, the former Minneapolis police officer who held back a crowd of bystanders during George Floyd’s fatal arrest in May 2020, was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison Monday for aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.
Thao gave a short comment on his role in Floyd’s death in a statement prior to his sentencing in a Minnesota courthouse.
Regardless of how you view the entire incident - and we've made no bones about how we did in our archives - almost five years for not even putting a hand on the fentanyl-addicted, enlarged-heart, massively-overweight-and-out-of-shape, actively-resisting, law-breaking criminal would seem to be a teeny bit like using a flamethrower to kill a fly.
The message is loud and clear:
- say please;
- say pretty please;
- say pretty please with sugar on top;
- ignore active resistance to lawbreaking and go about your business
Or are we missing something else?

The federal appeals court had thrown out Tuo Thao's appeal of his federal conviction last week also.
The two rookies were also screwed and convicted in both state and federal courts. One of them had less than a week on the street. Poor bast@rd. All that time for following the orders of the senior officer on the scene.
A big part of the problem was dDerek Chauvin's smirk on his face for the nine minutes he had Saint George of Fentanyl on the ground. He looked like a smug uncaring brute. And then Floyd died under his knee. Whether it was because of his knee, it didn't matter. George Floyd died and they needed an enemy to blame. They found four police officers and they are all paying for it.
Your fault, your boss's fault, your partner's fault, the perp's fault, nobody's fault, it doesn't matter, you will still be screwed. And you will watch your city and the nation burn. Just like the Summer of 2020.
Does he get out on bail time considered served and all the good conduct credit which means he reports to jail and then goes home the next day like all these mutts get.
As soon as you folks realize that your job becomes exponentially easier and less likely to get you jammed up just going thru the motions, the easier your prison sentence becomes.
As stated ad nauseam, start with doing absolutely nothing proactive. Playing police went outta vogue a long time ago.
Answer your jobs. Drop paper where appropriate. Arrest on signed complaints only. And the longer you take doing these things means the less time you’re exposed to the savage.
And if you have ANYTHING you can do other than being a cop to support yourself and your family, get the fuck away from that profession. And if you have no skills other than being the police, find a Department in a red state where LE are respected and appreciated.
Just like Jan 6 participants everyone will be held accountable, except the POS who died or the dealer who sold the POS his drugs; no money in that, no benefits in that. God help us all.
Derek Chauvin had around 18 years as cop when the Floyd fiasco occurred. He was an FTO working in a shitty area that was the equivalent to Chicago's 011th district. Yep, the guy like most Fto's was a LOSER! This asian cop at most should have only been fired. 4 years in prison is overkill to say the least.
Use of force expert Snelling would agree that too much force was used by Officer Thao. Just like he did at Jason Van Dykes trial. Remember folks, if this scrotum is the next Supe, do less than nothing.
The results of the last election made the city’s wishes clear. Let them have what they wished for. Fuck it and drive on.
Citizens you are on your own good luck.
There should be a Surgeon Generals warning when applying for this job in these police hating, criminal coddling times. Doing proactive police work may cause you to be incarcerated, unemployed or broke after you lose everything to some law breaker. Bottom line is if you’re still chasing cars and guys with guns you should stop before something like this happens to you.
Stop reading the blog. Grow a pair and don’t be scurr’d to go out there and stop some cars you lazy do nothing blue shirts. If I don’t get promoted you guys are toast. Oooruh!
Every copper should have walked off the job after those guys were originally charged. Through unity there is strength.
Use of force was justified per their SOP written by the then chief of police. The POS died of excited delirium, initial autopsy showed ZERO damage to the neck. Minneapolis should just burn.
Do not expect anything normal out of Minnesota.
What are they going to do when they realize and have to make public the fact that Floyd died from a drug overdose NOT strangulation?
If this courts ruling doesn't open coppers eyes, then nothing will. Policing in this city is dead, if you have any brains in your head you'll just sit back, answer your calls, sip your coffee and laugh at all the voting libtards walk by. 7 & 22 folks.
You all don’t understand that was a staged event? A hoax. You all actually think that was real and not actors and a script?
Take the red pill, people (or folks). Nothing is as it seems.
Like we say at our suburban PD: de-escalate, disengage, then drive away.

Why does Ghetto Rat still come to mind whenever I hear that name?
If you actually looked at the "updated" use of force/TRR orders last month, you may have noticed that any force used to deal with an offender, even forcing his hands behind his back to cuff him/her/it, is now a TRR.
or as the Invisible Institute calls it, a "use of force Complaint".
Have fun kids.
Wow. They just set the precedent for all future encounters. If you’re on scene and an aggressive offender who is high on drugs decides he wants to fight with the police, then dies as a result of the fentanyl in his system. You will be held as accountable as the officer or officers who are actually struggling with the offender.
Behold!!
Idiot leftys strike again

Isn't it funny that the Depts use of force expert is unable to pass any promotional exams that partially consist of use of force questions? He's a cop from the neck down. (Some female recruits may say from the waist down) Given, not earned.
Chauvin is an asshole. Got what he deserved.
Thao or the other cops should NEVER have been charged.
One cop was a week or so out of the academy.
Nuts. I hope it is overturned.

It’s already a known fact and on the court record via testimony of the doctor who performed the autopsy. THEY DON’T CARE. There is an agenda to be followed and a narrative to drive the agenda home. And that has NOTHING to do with truth or facts.
Officer is innocent
No choke hold involved with Officer Chauvin. Floyd died from drug od.
Never say the word God in your response. Pray for our Country.

You're a moron for spreading false information and being ignorant of the directives. Per G03-02-02 no TRR is required under the following circumstances:
A Tactical Response Report is NOT required to be completed for the following incidents:
1.
The use of escort holds and pressure compliance techniques which are not in response to active resistance of a person and do not result in an injury or allegation of injury.
2.
The use of joint manipulation techniques, wristlocks, armbars or other firm grips utilized in conjunction with handcuffing and searching techniques which are not in response to active resistance of a person and do not result in an injury or allegation of injury.
Don’t do anything !!! You’re dragging other coppers into your mess !!!!
If I were still on this shit job I'd refuse to use force for anything to do with property.
Citizens you are on your own good luck.

If only that were effectively, thoroughly true...
Sure, we are on our own in being vulnerable to attacks by the predatory.
We are, in addition to this, vulnerable to being arrested by law enforcement for countering the predatory with greater force than is approved of by our political pontificating putz snots.
Remove this vulnerabilty to the latter and we will reliably reduce the quantity of the predatory.
Yeah.
That ain't gonna happen.
So, while the predatory enjoy and exploit the privileges that only the law can provide, we grapple with double the vulnerability.
Gratis to the political putz pimples.

******
This should be on every billboard while entering Chicago.
This unthinkable reality still hasn’t hit the majority of citizens yet. Hell…it hasn’t hit many of our coworkers yet. Maybe this poor officer getting sentenced will wake them up. You sure can’t ignore or explain it away any longer. The nefarious intentions, beliefs and goals of our government, courts and media have been on full display for the past several years.
It was never about “restorative justice”…it was about revenge. It was never about “police reform”…it was about indoctrination and shifting all the liability on you. The city of Chicago and its citizens hate the police. They have made it abundantly clear that it’s cheaper to bury a police officer than a violent thug…so let that sink in. When you start your shift you are policing in a strange foreign land run by corrupt leaders who cater to violent radicals, degenerates and illegal immigrants. Your only duty and obligation is to survive and retire.

Ok, kid. You think my wrists cannot be injured when forcing offenders hands behind his back? I might need to see a doctor so where’s my IOD report. TRR=automatic IOD. Goes both way.

Was working at academy in service training when Snelling was in class he does know use of force,as far as other tests maybe not but he is the new boss, same as the old boss! paycheck stays the same, workload is small collect and pile up the cash!
The drug addled alcoholic SSI recipients have spoken. The law no longer matters and will not be enforced. Obeying the law is now optional. 9 out of 10 libtards agree and the tenth one is rolling over soon.
All the wrong people are in charge everywhere. It's like living in bizzaroland...
Not guilty!
Old Wise Man forgot to include divorced in his list of bad outcomes.....
...ignore lawbreaking and go about your business
There, fixed it for ya
On the bright side of things,
George has been drug free for 1,171 days.
But they will not charge a straw purchaser who bought a gun that killed an i year old girl. Let me guess he is a criminal!
Remember this when the bosses are telling you to put hands on people. Im done with this job, retired on duty and will never ever lock someone up. Cut paper and advise warrant and OOP.
If I got a job with dude trying to pass a $20 dollar bill and was high as a kite I would cut him loose, You can't take him in the lockup so you have to baby sit him at the Hospital and the judge will find him not guilty .
,
Police haters , GF caused the entire incident to occur .
