The governor there is sending in extra cops because of Oakland shortages:
The bad news is, if you live in Oakland, you are SOL.
Oakland has always been a mess. Now, with lax drug enforcement and socially conscious politicians, the crime wave that's engulfing the city is almost beyond belief.
Robberies grew 38% last year in Oakland, according to police data. Burglaries increased 23%. Motor vehicle theft jumped 44%. Roughly one of every 30 Oakland residents had a car stolen last year, according to a San Francisco Chronicle analysis.
On Tuesday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom decided to lend a hand to Oakland's beleaguered police force and is sending 120 highway patrol officers to help. “What’s happening in this beautiful city and surrounding area is alarming and unacceptable,” Newsom said in a statement.
Gee, what could have caused the shortages?
Failed democrat policies? Just like New York and Illinois?

If Commiefonia is anything like Hellinois then troopers dont handle domestics, shootings or auto theft. They can only enforce stop sign violations. How is that going to help Oakland. Dumb idea.

The State of Illinois is sending troopers our way from other areas. I know one that comes from the Rockford area. Spends a lot of time going to and from.
Oakland was nice before demoRats started running the city and progressive policies ruined it. Ruined to such a degree that sports teams left. First the Warriors, next came the Raiders, and now the Athletics have all left for greener pastures. God only knows how many businesses closed up shop and left for greener pastures in friendlier parts of the state or just up and left California completely. So with the politicians, media, and public bashing the police what makes anyone think that the officers of Oakland didn’t also decide to leave. The OPD officers left in such significant numbers that the walking billboard for hair muse products governor sent in 120 highway police to help the OPD officers. Cops all over this once great nation are tired of be bashed and persecuted for enforcing the very laws that demoRats and republicans had passed. Enforce the law and get pissed on, told to stand down and get criticized for looking the other. OPD trained to subdue individuals, outfit the criminals with the latest in fashionable bracelets and accused of being heavy handed, yet people are not taught at home, at school, by parents, teachers or even politicians to listen to officers and not resist arrest would go a long way in peaceful compliance. Instead fuck the police, fight the police, sue the police and people can’t believe officers are leaving. I don’t blame them
for leaving or doing less and I don’t expect the state police to be gung ho during deployment. Newsome and the rest of demoRat politicians in that state and every other state can go to hell.

The In and Out burger chain is huge in CA. Their store in Oakland closed because of the theft. People were breaking into cars in the lot in broad daylight right in front of customers. It was a huge story there because of the chains popularity. Thats the only reason there was any response at all.
The common denominator is elected, democrats, total allowed, lawlessness by the elected, tying the hands of the police and bastardizing them at every turn. There was an article that was published recently about how the stores are moving out of the urban city areas such as Chicago, New York, California they’re moving out to where their customers are in the suburbs. Why make their customers come into the cities risk being raped robbed, killed or carjacked? Unfortunately, the downtown area like the rest of the city of Chicago is finished. You play the game of risk your life when you go down there for anything, the magnificent Mile was the jewel of the city of Chicago? people liked to go there spent big money shopping, Marshall fields, Carson pirie Scott, all out of business nothing to do with the crime however, Macy’s, without a doubt will be the next to go with their flag ship store on state street. This constantly gets worse and worse when you have a mayor now in the city of Chicago that constantly places his problems on his black wife and his black children it’s ridiculous. Sometimes you have to be a man sometimes you have to do what is right as he allows all the crime to happen +30,000illegal criminals just everywhere. They are now as we all know in oakbrook taking whatever they can from the stores there was at Oak Brook this past weekend. The security has increased exponentially. They are really trying their best. However, this will result in costs that will be a lot more money for the people that shop there! I know it is DuPage County. They do arrest the criminals however, it seems like their judges are like our judges. They’re letting them go and not holding them until court. I know they cannot hold him for any money due to the governor of the state of Illinois trust fund baby making sure that they do not have to have any cash bail but they used to hold them in DuPage for at least a while for court , liberalism is obviously in DuPage County now!

Just think...California governor Gavin Newsom is the Democrats' main choice to replace Joe Biden. He's considered a "moderate" in that party. Let that sink in. Last week Bill Maher declared him "a winner!" and CNN was fawning over his inept response to the state's deadly floods and increase in illegal immigrants {snicker}. It's amazing how many Democrats are in love with this imbecile. If Gavin Newsome looked like JB Pritzker and was from some small Democrat state like Oregon, Minnesota or New Mexico he would be laughed at and ridiculed.

This, a federal police force is the democratic/socialist dream plan. A national police force bending to the will of their political masters. The slow walk has been "consent decrees" which put the federal government in-charge of local police departments.

Yup. I used to work in Oakland. Then I got smart and left. Most of the OPD boys & girls looked like they were the chubby and dorky kids in high school. It was painfully obvious that the turds intimate them rather than the other way around. The neo-marxist prosecutor's office obviously didn't help the situation. And people wonder why Oakland is such a pit.
The black panthers are responsible for the government's breakfast program....They also got white, black and Puerto Rican groups together to fight government bs policies .......so what you mean since you don't read!
