Washington, DC's solution: Officials said a focal point of the summer surge will be crushing the "teen takeovers" that have terrorized D.C. neighborhoods and shut down local businesses.
Blasting the D.C. Council for "refusing to deal with the problem, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced a zero-tolerance policy that shifts the legal burden onto the parents of delinquent youth.
Starting immediately, federal prosecutors will charge parents under a D.C. statute for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Parents who drop their kids off, fail to supervise them or allow them to skip school to participate in the chaos will face fines, court-mandated classes and up to six months in jail.
And if you tie the arrests to a denial of Federal benefits, it would disappear overnight.

Chicago should not demonize these yutes but cane them instead. Singapore has always had it as a form of punishment but now are allowed to use it against students who are found guilty of relentless bullying with the principal’s approval and they can only receive three lashings. That should end a large part of these nonsense takeovers.
I think the demonized should be given dedicated locations for street take overs. I propose the four intersections around city hall. It’s for the childruns.

Jeanine Pirro is awesome..at least they are trying, unlike this bullshit City that doesnt give two fucks. Parents should be held accountable, learn to raise your kids correctly (if they even know such a thing). This City tried that years ago, when you caught a kid for curfew, (by the way curfews were golden back then), after so many the parents would be fined..how did that go?? Dont even hear about that anymore. Anyone ever watch On Patrol Live?? Its on the RRELZ Channel and is on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8pm...its great to see Police being Police..Foot Chases, High Speed Car Chases, car Searches, Traffic stops...Coppers that allowed by their leaders to enforce the law. Gee, we here used to have that yrs ago.

No one in power in Chicago has the huevos to do that.
None of that will work. Instead, take away their welfare benefits. For 6 months, if it doesn't happen again, they can get it back or get a job, but I jest. If it happens twice in a year you lose your welfare forever. When they can't trade welfare benefits for cash and get their hair and nails did, then they will start whopping some ass. They don't care about being charged with a crime, only care about shit that affects them personally.
Gas the shit out of them, then take them to jail.
Until there are consequences for adults who allow these yutes to terrorize and destroy the city, nothing will change. Put a brick on their checks from government benefits. Put a brick on their electronics/phones.
Bad parenting all around. If they live in public housing or have a voucher, throw them into the street.
Take Mamas house and the word will get around faster than a police involved shooting, only then will it stop. But they actually have to do it not just threaten.
They get free housing, utilities, and most importantly phones. All we ask is that you live in normal fashion. If you can’t you should pay your own way.

I went to Singapore after retirement. I have never felt safer in any other city or country in the world. They do take "broken window policing" to the extreme and the results are safe, clean and orderly streets.

Loss of benefits is the only way to stop it. Most of us know that fines will not be paid, classes will not be attended etc. You hit them with a loss of SNAP, section 8, etc for a month everytime their kid gets locked up- it'll stop. You have full grown adults who celebrate “prom” - many without kids going to prom. Their own mentality is stunted. Money is the only thing that speaks.
They're getting it all for free. So they've got time on their hands and they put it to use by 'funnin'... Cut them off. Want to eat? Get a fucking job.

Cutting welfare benefits is not politically viable, however the guy who suggested cutting off the free phone is definitely on to something.
